Disturbed Vs Godsmack

Disturbed Vs Godsmack

This is one of the few matches where I feel equally the same about each combatant. I’m not a huge fan of either band, but I like the music both of them make. If you absolutely forced me to choose, I would go with Godsmack simply for the name.

What say you?

I find them both to have lack listening value. They’re like Korn if you took out the SOAD-esque choruses. Too many non-musical intense sections.

I’d pick Disturbed if I am forced to listen to either of them. So thats my vote.

Ignore the “have” in the last post. I meant “to lack”.

    Disturbed all the way. :D

Plus, the lead singer in Disturbed kinda looks like Kratos… =P

    Godmack

    No argument, period.

Godsmack. SOOO much more talent. David Draiman can sing….so what. Sully Erna can sing, play guitar, drum, play harmonica, and the piano. Plus the lyrics of Godsmack are like 10X better.

I agree w/ The One Sin. No argument.

I don’t care that much for either, but I’ll go with Godsmack. Disturbed is just a bunch of growling retards with songs that all sound the same. Basically I have a friend with an 8 year old brother who loves Disturbed. Do you really what to be a fan of a band with an 8 year old fanbase?

I think you all need to actually read Disturbed’s lyrics before you judge them so harshly. I think that they put alot of meening into their songs. For example, Inside the Fire speaks about how suicide has affected all of their lives, and what they went through during thoe times. They actually put some really good messages into their songs if you pay attention. So My vote would be for Disturbed, but I still love Godsmack.

I invite your opinions though and will respect them and only critisize if you have some of your facts wrong.

    @Demongrave
Lots of bands have messages. But they’re actually good songs too. SOAD is an excellent example.

@Demongrave: Disturbed is good and know what hey are doing and they have good lyrics, but the music itself all sounds the same.

If they would just mix it up musically I would like them more.

Disturbed…..don’t make me argue. To many f-bombs in one post if you do make me.

Disturbed is the greatest band ever in my opinion anyway.

First of all I would like to say the majority of you here have no musical taste whatsoever. These are the two most awesome bands on the face of the fucking planet! Even though both these bands are the shit, Godsmack is the greatest band of all time. Every time I hear “The Enemy” or “Cryin’ Like a Bitch!” I just feel like kicking somebody’s ass. I can’t wait to see both of them at the Mayhem Festival in Virginia.

Oh man, I love both…but I was already listening to Disturbed when I saw this, so that’s my vote.
