I find Hugh Jackman can play a more diverse cast of characters than Depp.
Just my opinion though.
Wow first comment. I would have to say Johnny Depp I mean Jackman rocks He is Wolverene but Depp has been F##kin Cool since before 21 Jump street and he’s Captin Jack.

Jackman. I think hes a more talented actor than Depp and has the ability to play a wider variety of roles. And between those two, I would rather have him play my fav character.

As for acting, I don’t really know. Both have played characters I really enjoy and I love both of their acting styles.

Whilst Hugh Jackman has many talents-Johnny Depp is an intensely deeply amazingly talented performer….a true artist. Hugh Jackman can play a lot of diffferent characters. Yes, but so does JD. No one is ever going to be as GORGEOUS as sexy as JD….sorry ‘sexiest’ man.

Jack Sparrow is one of my all-time favorite fictional characters, so Depp gets some respect for that. But as a whole I don’t really like much of his films, plus he is/was an emo cutter.

But he likened the self-inflicted scars as “events of his life” similar to how a sailor gets tattoos in different countries and what not. Just a little emo shit thing to say lol.

I actually hated Elizabeth Swan as a character. She was just some stuck up fancy chick and then ALL OF A SUDDEN she thinks shes some kind of super pirate or something when she had NO idea what she was getting into.

Do you know if Geoffry Rush is returning to play Barbossa in the next movie? That scene where he was wedding Will and Elizabeth while fighting those dudes off was just to funny.
Like I said, I haven’t looked into the future of the series recently, but last I heard it was going to focus more on Barbosa and Jack.
Hopefully he will though, as cool as Jack is, he can’t balance out an entire new cast lol.

Thats what the ending to At World’s End seemed to imply. I’ll bet that the plot will be about Jack and Barbossa racing eachother to the Fountain of Youth while Jack tries to get his ship back from Barbossa….what do you think?
As much as I love Depp, I think Jackman can just play a mans role alot better, more action then Depp I think, and you just can’t go past an action packed flick with him in it and not want to watch it. Where Depp is heading more towards the comedy side of it, don’t get me wrong, he has had some awesome roles and plays them just as awesomely.

Johnny, all the way. Hugh is an awesome Wolverine, and his ability to mask his Australian accent so well is really cool. But I’ve seen more Depp movies.
