Mola Ram Vs Baron Samedi

Mola Ram (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) Vs Baron Samedi (Voodoo)

For this match, how would these two square off against each other? Ram would be trying to rip some hearts out, while Samedi typically is the gatekeeper, so not quite sure how this would play out.

Who do you think wins?

    Thanks, Admin, thanks…anyway…

Depends which Baron Samedi, if it’s the actual Voodoo god then Mola Ram gets seriously pwned, he could just make his head explode into flames or something

Now if it’s the James Bond character, I still say he wins, even if Mola were to kill him he’d just keep coming back and eventually he would hack him with his machete

    So THIS is baron samedi.

    Doesn’t look so ‘tuff’….

  3. Space marine March 8, 2009 at 7:06 am -      #3

And also, I think Kharn would “WTFPWN” Baron Samedi…

  4. Baron Somebody March 8, 2009 at 1:22 pm -      #4

Actually Baron is like Darth Nihilus x1000

    I don’t see how a mortal Shaman matches up to a god…

  7. Baron Somebody March 9, 2009 at 3:11 pm -      #7

    @Matapiojo

I actually meant Baron Samedi from James Bond, but whatever

  8. Matapiojo March 10, 2009 at 8:59 am -      #8

Make up your mind because post #4 does not suggest that.

  9. Baron Somebody March 10, 2009 at 9:50 pm -      #9

Why don’t you make up YOUR mind…just kidding, but well I was explaining to Space Marine that Baron could totally destroy Kharn…if it were the god version

  10. Locutus March 11, 2009 at 1:36 am -      #10

“that Baron could totally destroy Kharn…if it were the god version”

I doubt it with Khorne backing Kharn up.

  11. Space marine March 11, 2009 at 2:15 am -      #11

In which Kharn would still own him…

  12. Baron Somebody March 11, 2009 at 3:48 pm -      #12

Baron Samedi is the god of death, whereas Khorne is a god of war…I don’t really know what would happen if they fought, but Baron is one of the most powerful of all the Loa (Voodoo gods)…

  13. Locutus March 11, 2009 at 9:41 pm -      #13

I’m pretty sure Khorne would easily crush Baron. Baron seems to be equal to a minor Chaos being in terms of power.

  14. Baron Somebody March 11, 2009 at 10:39 pm -      #14

Really? A “minor” Chaos being? He could put Kharn into an indestructable coffin to rot for all of eternity without even doing anything

  15. L-W March 12, 2009 at 3:05 am -      #15

Baron Samedi is a Voodoo deity, or Loas (The western equivalent of a Spirit or Angel) standing at the crossroads of Human death, originating primarily from Haitian Voodooism.

Number of followers: No more than eight million throughout the entirety of Human history.

Number of potential souls harvested throughout the entire extent of humanity: One hundred and ten billion (Estimated).

Khorne is the Chaos God of blood, hatred, violence and war, perpetually seeking the deaths of others. Commands considerable control over the Immaterial (Warp) realm and that of other alternate realities, existences and even our mortal realm.

Number of followers: Trillions of Humans, several million Space Marines, thousands of Dwarfs, Elves, Ogres, Lizardmen, countless beasts throughout the universe, limitless Daemon slaves and an infinite universe composed entirely of nothing more than malevolent Demons, Spirits and Deities. Even Planets themselves fall under his will, terraforming into living, breathing Chaos tainted orbs that bend to his every twisted and perverse desire.

Kharn can get out of indestructable coffins. One word…GORECHILD MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

  17. Matapiojo March 12, 2009 at 5:13 pm -      #17

“Baron seems to be equal to a minor Chaos being in terms of power.”

That seems like an accurate statement. Hell, even the greater of the minor powers (Malal) seems to be more powerful than Samedi.

Its would not be wise to try and put Samedi on the same scale as the Chaos powers, who dominate over millions of systems, trillions of lives, over space and time (The Warp), and even across realities (WH 40k and WHFB).

  18. Locutus March 12, 2009 at 11:07 pm -      #18

    Baron Samedi
“Number of followers: No more than eight million throughout the entirety of Human history.

Number of potential souls harvested throughout the entire extent of humanity: One hundred and ten billion (Estimated).”

Equal to a minor Chaos being when compared to Khorne.

  19. L-W March 13, 2009 at 12:50 am -      #19

Exactly, you cannot really compare a Human deity limited to within our realms to that of a God who rules over the multiverse, an infinite well of Spirits and Deamons and an entire alternate reality composed entirely of incorporeal and wholly immaterial energy.

It’s like comparing the energy output of a double AA battery next to a Star.

  20. Spacemarine March 13, 2009 at 1:21 am -      #20

….hey Baron Somebody……YOU GOT SERVED! XD

  21. Baron Somebody March 13, 2009 at 1:44 am -      #21

Dude, Baron is the Grim Reaper practically…he isn’t bad anyway, so he doesn’t kill people (unless they deserve it)…seriously, he could mow down wave after wave of Space Marines without even breaking a sweat

  22. Matapiojo March 13, 2009 at 8:46 am -      #22

“seriously, he could mow down wave after wave of Space Marines without even breaking a sweat”

But that was not the point of the argument, now was it?

The argument was brought when Samedi was compared to a Chaos God. There is no doubt that a deity could dominate several mortals even if they are as uber as Space Marines, but if the big boys decide to join up (as is the case of Khorne should Samedi mess with his champion) then the Baron would take a cosmic beating the likes that would be spoken across the galaxy for eons.

*The elder shaman calls out to his gandson to join him within the circle of flames*

“Come now, my child. Let us share words so that you know the true reason our people have been cursed. I will now pass dow to you the tale of how our lord became no more.

This is the tale of how death itself was slaughtered…”

  23. L-W March 13, 2009 at 10:03 am -      #23

*The elder shaman calls out to his grandson to join him within the circle of flames*

“Come now, my child. Let us share words so that you know the true reason our people have been cursed. I will now pass down to you the tale of how our lord became no more.

This is the tale of how death itself was slaughtered…”

The Pantheon of the Gods erupted in a single stellar cosmic burst, the malformed serenity of all existence twists and shook and burdened under the shaping maw of a single being. Greater in size than any Star, a voice that trembled throughout the ages, perversion incarnate.

It was Khorne. The Blood God.

With every utterance and enunciation, a great leaping void of terror, spurred by the will of countless Demons driven insane by the whips and chains of their masters, stretched the breadths of the infinite cosmos, drawing to them and utterly consuming entire worlds. With each sigh, a thousand souls reel in terror, for each syllable a star is born and subsequently faded into cinders. Within a immeasurable moment, with an infinite indecipherable languages, in an event so epic yet so quick that very few in existence could have lived to have said that it even happened at all; death was killed.

“Lesser creature, you stand upon the crossroads of Human mortality, you are the gatekeeper of the dominion of Man. But a God of Men means no more to me than a God of Insects. Precious few are your subjects, your existence and divine will being no more than a single molecule in the infinite expanse of the cosmos. Yet this cosmos, this blind material illusion of existence is nothing more to me than a single brief moment in the infinite expanse of the eternal void.”

Yet Baron Samedi, forever the eager but careless spirit, turned to his assailant. His voice no more than a passing breeze against a Storm of Chaos.

    “You talk too much…”

The Lord of Chaos, tempting the aggressive Spirit, willingly receded and fell, his physical embrace of the material realm weakened and shrank, slowly corroding. Little remained of the Titanic beast that was Chaos incarnate save for Ash and Darkness.

“I have nothing but time Human…I have nothing but time.”

And then came a sound. Distant first, it grew into castrophany so immense it could be heard beyond the borders of time and space, existence was shattered. There were no screams. There was no time. The Lord of Chaos called Khorne had spoken.

    There was only fire.

    And then, nothing.

Stay on the topic at hand please, this isn’t Baron Samedi vs Kharn or Khorne it’s Baron Samedi vs Mola Ram.

  25. L-W March 13, 2009 at 10:42 am -      #25

This current topic is boring, stop boring everyone Tim, you’re boring everyone!

  26. Matapiojo March 13, 2009 at 10:45 am -      #26

“Stay on the topic at hand please, this isn’t Baron Samedi vs Kharn or Khorne it’s Baron Samedi vs Mola Ram.”

    /shrug

It just seemed rather redundant to me in continuing praise for Samedi (in all his incarnations) as the victor over Mola Ram.

His slaughter at the hands of Khorne just seems far more interesting!

BTW, that was a great tale, L-W.

For all you know Baron could just say die and then he would die…if Baron can di anything (kinda like the Q), then how would he win?

  28. kano547 March 14, 2009 at 1:39 am -      #28

well i’ll just say the first analogy that popped into my head
    mola ram / baron samedi
kitten / chuck norris with a chainsaw or better yet a chainsword
i think ram is kinda useless i mean what’s the point of ripping out a persons heart if it does’nt kill them????

    samedi for the win

  29. L-W March 14, 2009 at 2:02 am -      #29

“BTW, that was a great tale, L-W.”

    Thank you, I try.

  30. Baron Somebody March 14, 2009 at 7:49 pm -      #30

Then, out of a great black portal, the Baron emerged, unscathed to say,

“You are indeed powerful, but I am not just the ruler of men…I CREATED THE CONCEPT OF DEATH ITSELF!!! Without death, war would be nothing…no blood would flow, not a wound would be evident… which would leave you powerless like the asshole you are…you think you’re so tough? I challange you to a drinking contest!!!” And so the two gods sat at a table in the middle of the Abyss, drinking for eternity, as neither of them appeared to be shwoing signs of quitting soon…

TO BE CONTINUED IN 10000000 MILLENIA
