Master Chief Vs T-X (Terminator 3)

Master Chief Vs T-X (Terminator)

Here comes a fun match that would not be easy for either side to win. Just as in his previous battles against the original terminator as well as the liquid metal terminator, it always came down to settings.

If the battle takes place in a remote location, with no metal melting gear/machinery around, the Chief could be having his last fight. But, if those items were handy, MC could prevail…

What do you think would happen?

FINALLY! The T-X would either shoot MC with a flame thrower/plasma cannon or punch a hole in his flesh and armor.

Another example in futility for the efforts of one John, Spartan-117.

A human super-soldier armed with a variety of ballistic weapons and a weakness for bullets, against nanomachine coated gynoid assassin armed with a myriad* of internal plasma, laser and kinetic based armaments and a solid endoskeleton formed of a polymimetic alloy that allows the Cyborg in question to casually lift and toss over 500lbs in weight with a single prehensile appendage, break a human spine with nothing more than pinch…

…Or tear apart six inch thick sheets of Titanium with nothing but its teeth.

Yeah. Call me when this fight gets interesting.

    *IAD ChemTech Flamethrower
    T1000 repeating Plasma cannon
    223 Automatic Stopper
    45 Cascader
    M41 pulse rifle
    783 CHAIN Repeater
    ADMOR BioBlaster
    BioRail 32SR-9
    CG45 Needler

(The ordinance listed in the above was designed purposefully in the execution and destruction of other Terminator models, including the possibility of a rogue T1000. Just extrapolate this to a Titanium covered bag of flesh.)

good grief what did i just say ??? your turning mc into kenny youve pitted him against almot every darth and a space marine i mean come on this is getting boring haveing to keep saying master chief might last 10 seconds give him a fight he could win stop just killing him repeatedly and violently although i like it cause i hate master chief we know in most of the fighs on here he would get killed
    stan “they killed master chief”
    kyle “you bastards”:)

yeah, terminator vs enhanced human. I’m voting Terminator.

I own every Terminator comic, movie, etc. and I can tell you that Master Chief might as well shoot himself now. Terminators are more powerful than any one opponent he’s ever faced in canon. They have no fatigue, no hunger, no pity. Even if he runs, the T-X will keep coming forever.
It’s (it is a machine) on board weaponry could tear through the covenant shield system adapted into Mjolnir in seconds. She could theoretically control Cortana, and possibly the armour itself.
Truly, the only way MC could survive would be to ditch all of his armour and tech and hide. He’d better hope she doesn’t have a back-up power cell.
If MC had all of the UNSC’s weapons at his disposal however, he could probably call in a MAC blast or ICBM to annihilate T-X.

“MC can borrow plasma guns & plasma blades”

Which would do what to a polymimetic exoskeleton?

“plus his MJOLNIR Mk. 6 can deflect the conventional attacks from the T-X”

What? The phase Plasma cannon designed to disintegrate a T-1000 with one shot? The Pulse Rifle that fires miniature AP explosive shells? Or a grip capable of taking apart Titanium?

I’d love to know what these conventional attacks his armour can deflect are.

I think there is one BIG problem with this idea. T-X in the Terminator movies is meant to personify being unstoppable. Master Chief in Halo is a video game character that’s durability varies with the difficulty setting…

If I was to answer the question, I would almost guarantee that T-X would pwn MC. If it was not just John-117, maybe all of the Spartans from the books, the halo universe could have a chance. T-X is an army in and of herself.

Then again, the Terminator movies use current day weapons, and so it makes sense that the SWAT guys’ bullets would bounce off, but weapons from about 50 years in the future, could have a chance. I would like to see Splazer vs. plasma blaster, though.

“It could do considerable damage to the T-X, think of it like for example: Arbiter’s Carbine….Even an RPG fired by the T-850 damages its hand held weapon that’s why the T-X changes its selection of weaponry into a flamethrower”

No doubt the Phase Plasma Cannon is a composition of extremely delicate and highly complex mechanics and electromagnetic components, exposure to an Anti-Tank caliber weapon would no doubt damage the equipped cannon (The T-X had the weapon exposed at this point) beyond functionality despite leaving the rest of the polymimetic frame unharmed. But a Carbine? Unlikely.

“If the RPG caused some damaged on the T-X what more could the Carbine give? ”

I doubt the output of a Covenant Carbine is equal to a Type 69 RPG HEAT warhead. Master Chief would require his UNSC Type M41 SSR MAV HEAT warheads to even damage an *exposed* Plasma Cannon. Whereas the T-X frame will most likely survive the duress of such a direct hit.

“Plus, the polymimetic exoskeleton of the T-X doesn’t give a total regeneration of its chassis just like what happend in the movie when the helicopter squashed it to the ground, though it still working reconstituting itself but not as fast as the T-1000 because the T-X is not purely liquid metal…..If the T-X is got hit by MC’s Carbine then its like a hot knife through butter….”

Not really, the Carbine fires solid uranium tipped slugs at a velocity akin to most modern AP rounds, hardly what I would call AT armour piercing. Either way I doubt the damage caused by a Carbine could equal that of a five ton SH-3 Sea King transport Helicopter ramming and crushing a target and continuing to “grind” them over an extended period beneath the hull against a steel floor.

The beauty of its enhanced Chassis is that despite having a slower recovery time, the T-X is far more durable in instances where sheer strength is a necessity.

“Well, does the T-850 disintegrated in the movie when it got hit?”

The T-850 was a later edition to the T-800 model series as its chassis was designed to be resistant to Plasma fire due to an enhanced endoskeletal frame and an electromagnetic “sheath” that dissipated most of the damage.

Unfortunately for our T-850, T-X plasma fire is still incredibly potent and continued to penetrate the thickest layer of the T-850 chassis, breaching the highly sensitive Fusion Coils that resulted in such a spectacular detonation.

Whereas the T-1000 is essentially a loose composition of nanomachines, that rather than solidly resist penetrative damage (Such as the T-800 endoskeleton), warp around areas of concussive and heat based projectile impact. When impacted by Plasma fire, the nanomachine structure essentially panics under such extreme duress (Similar to the molten steel vat) and literally forces itself apart until it can no longer regenerate. Essentially evaporating the target T-1000.

so are you trying to say that MJOLNIR armour is tougher than a terminators endoskeleton? i think not.it would take t-x(new keyboard)5 seconds to find a weakness in mc’s armour then 5 more seconds to put round from any of the weapons in her incredibly varied arsenal into said weakness. t-x is not exessive she would find the best way to kill him then 1 shot and mc’s gone

  12. Thepocalypse March 10, 2009 at 5:12 am -      #12

“Master Chief in Halo is a video game character that’s durability varies with the difficulty setting”
Actually, the number of shots coming at you varies. He’s pretty much the same through all of Halo 3. I consider that game and the novels the best source for Master Chief’s ability.

  13. Rob (Expertimp) March 10, 2009 at 12:41 pm -      #13

I would have to say the terminator would easily win but then I think to myself didn’t John cornor and Sarah cornor both defeat terminators three times???? So I have to say to myself if they could do it with there clear lack of combat.. Master chief could easily win.

    Master Chief Wins!!

  14. kano547 March 10, 2009 at 2:09 pm -      #14

sarah and john did not defeat t-x,t-x was killed by the gonvenator who im pretty sure blew himself up to kill her, and it took a helicopter crashing into her just to slow her down enough for his hydrogen batteries going off to work the only way fro mc to win this is with an almost impossible amount of luck and a nuclear warhead in this fight either t-x wins or they both die

  15. Rob (Expertimp) March 10, 2009 at 3:56 pm -      #15

In the first movie Sarah crushed the terminator in a compactor..

  16. Thepocalypse March 11, 2009 at 4:23 pm -      #16

“In the first movie Sarah crushed the terminator in a compactor..”
That was a heavily damaged and obsolete Terminator model. The T-X would not be halted by the compactor, and would be smart enough to avoid it. Had Skynet sent her back at a later date (in the possible future), Sarah Conner would have died.

  17. L-W March 11, 2009 at 8:48 pm -      #17

The T-X is an Anti-Terminator platform, equipped and designed to destroy other rogue machines (T-88, T-1000, H-K’s etc.) with frightening ease, even the T-850 agreed that in a direct contest it could never feasibly win.

This is a machine so deadly that every other Terminator can only run and hide, each calculating that their odds for success are so minimal that it is not even worth stating. How is a Human (Albeit a Superhuman Soldier) supposed to deal with something that other Terminators have nightmares about?

  18. L-W March 12, 2009 at 9:39 pm -      #18

You never address a Terminator, you merely run in the opposite direction and pray that the incredibly dense combat chassis does not give him a speed advantage.

  19. the_man_with The_Answers March 28, 2009 at 11:43 am -      #19

Did everyone forget that mc cn easily kill t-x with
plasma pistol(fully chaged shot would actually stun t-x because of EMP)
    plasm rifle
    particle beam rifle
    fuel rod gun
    plasma grenade
    sentinal beam
    plasma turret
    spartan laser
    or energy sword?

“Die? Didn’t you know? Spartans never die.” (Kurt-051)

    Thats from Ghosts of Onyx
Spartans do die but they ar so fast ,strong, and smart/well trained tht they are only 1 step under invincibility

John on the other hand,in theory, has the extra sep to invincibility, his luck.

  21. Tarbel March 31, 2009 at 10:57 pm -      #21

Well, I would say it depends how far in the future did the Terminators come from. Halo series is about 25th century I think, so if the T-X model came further in the future I would say that it would most likely be more durable, quicker and much stronger than a Spartan. Especially since it is computer operated making it easy to decide what choice to make when fighting. To be frank, MC would probably get owned but I’d like to see the fight.
Good luck or good bye to 117.

  22. Zach V April 12, 2009 at 10:22 pm -      #22

L-W, you can’t ever say that MC would ever win. SO stay away from the MC posts. JK, but seriously!!!

  23. L-W April 13, 2009 at 1:21 am -      #23

Check out the Master Chief Vs. Solid Snake or Marcus Fenix debates to see otherwise. Just because so many here have this idolization of Master Chief that blinds them to certain inconvenient facts doesn’t place him within even the same league as most Super/Mutant/Technologically advanced characters presented here, likewise I will only support Master Chief when the facts are clearly in his favour for victory.

  24. slyjj May 15, 2009 at 3:12 pm -      #24

the only way mc would win is if he could seperat all of t-x’s parts and keep then apart

    MC has no chance

  25. Harsh July 23, 2009 at 8:57 pm -      #25

Dude, are you guys f******** crazy?
MC has destroyed the covenenant, obliterated the flood, and you think he can’t take down one TX!

    He is a legend, man

  26. Pondering Fool August 16, 2009 at 11:04 pm -      #26

    @Harsh

Did you read the entire thread before you said your foolish comment? Also, MC did not obliterate the flood, just killed a couple of them, and the elites are still alive, so he did not destroy the covenant. Anyway, TX would annihalte the poor super solder……

    @ Answers

That was said as a UNSC propoganda motto to list all Spartans Missing In Action rather then Killed in Action to keep morale high and keep them at legend status. That cannot be used to back up a point and you just used that to back up a barely viable argument.

  28. Michael Rettkowski November 11, 2009 at 6:44 pm -      #28

MC would totally win agains a Terminator even the T-X model. first MC has:
    Energy shields.
    Superhuman reflexes
    Superdence Alloy plating.
Mijolnr armor capable of lifting 70 tons
    27 Years of Combat training.

MC is obviously much stronger, knowing that I have never seen a T-X lift that much. He also has a reasoning ability and the T-X doesn’t.

So if the were in a fight to the death, MC would Dominate. Any wepons she uses can be dodged due to MC’s superhuman reflexes. So all he would have to do is punt her ass to a metal plant and throw her in. If she grabs him, that is what his super strength is for, he could easily rip it’s arm off.

  29. Dan December 10, 2009 at 1:51 am -      #29

there is no chance that mc could win Michael Rettkowski shes faster and stronger then him by far a t-888 can flip a massive school bus with ease and she is much more advanced then that model so what does that tell u and mc could try to rip her arm off but im telling u he would fail so badly

  30. shaun182 December 10, 2009 at 2:58 am -      #30

“Mijolnr armor capable of lifting 70 tons”

when has any spartan ever been able to lift 70 tons, pure bullsh#t

  31. Belisaurius January 22, 2010 at 11:39 am -      #31

2 tons, michael, and that’s how he flips a warthog.

  32. loli boarder February 6, 2010 at 7:26 am -      #32

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah

we all know the shape shifting bitch could kill mc with ease.
L-W your wrong that terminators ain’t run very fast in terminator.wikia.com a t-600 hundred can run at speeds of 65km but prefer to walk rather than run.

Come back to us when your brain isn’t so starved of Oxygen as it in now, maybe then you would be able to form a coherent thought you piece of fecal slime:

    1) Nowhere in this thread have I mentioned the speed of the Terminator, try and keep up.

    2) The T-600 is an obsolete model in comparison to the T-X, why would you even bring it up here?

  34. Joe July 28, 2010 at 1:03 am -      #34

Um, if the resistance can hold out with advanced weapons against Skynet, why couldnt Master Chief dominate? I think the biggest fundamental issue is that the strengh of the terminators is very overexagerated to make an action movie, because Cameron was all pissy about the dangers of technology. In all likely hood, the Terminators and MC would have comperable strengh and armor using real world materials and alloys 20th 21s or 25th centry. Titanium is still titanium. So the deciding factor would be a CPU vs a Human brain, and with that a CPU will always be a slave to its programing, no matter how much it “learns”… I can teach a dog to beg for food. So I go with MC. Heck even Iron man could take out that little T-X WITH THE RIGHT WEAPONS….Hand to hand his butt would be toast.

Again though, Cameron makes too many errors to make the series enjoyable.

  35. G August 18, 2010 at 11:57 pm -      #35

I’m not actually sure who’d win. The TX is a lot stronger and faster than any terminator. Even if MC had energy shields, what happens when the deplete and his life goes down and the TX hits him before his shields regenerate. None of his weapons would do any damage. But MC also has Cortana with him.

  36. ironman October 31, 2010 at 2:36 am -      #36

engey sword duh cause t-x can’t regenrate like t-1000 so chop in halo and when crawling towards him cut off her head + fire bomb would work so would running 300km away call UNSC make them fire a MAC at her done all over or if that does’nt work try super MAC

  37. Michael50210 October 31, 2010 at 2:45 am -      #37

Are you guys done raping the MC yet?
Well, when your done, tell me.

  38. Renegade December 24, 2010 at 10:51 pm -      #38

I have to say, I don’t think its so cut and dry as you guys are saying it is, I think MC might stand a chance, I’ve only played Halo 2 but read most of the books, and MC seems a little tougher than you guys are portraying him. I’m not saying that the T-X is at any sort of disadvantage as it could probably rip MC apart some matches, but I think its a pretty even fight overall.

  39. Soldier's Shadow December 24, 2010 at 10:58 pm -      #39

    @Renegade

You’re going to have to elaborate further on why you think this match is pretty even as you said. Not disbelieving you or anything since I’m not really knowledgeable on the Terminators but rumor has it, they’re pretty damn tough.

  40. Patrick1209 March 8, 2011 at 11:14 pm -      #40

Haha! Roflstomp ftw… BankGambling still is on an anti-MC rampage… Next round: Master Chief vs God and all his creatures.
