Here’s a fun match that could take awhile for the outcome to be determined. While MC would have an advantage at long range, up close, I think Selene would have the upper hand.
I think after a classic fight with tides shifting from one side to the next, I think Selene may actually win this one.

I think Master Chief would win this fight, much as I like both characters Master Chief has better weapons than Selene and they would probably be pretty evenly matched physically plus Master Chief doesn’t have a major weakness like Selene does(sunlight).
I believe that MC would kill Selene because if he shot her in the face with a shotgun (even if she is a vampire) she would die. If you give MC an energy sword, he would rush and slice her in half and make bologna out of her. Give MC a gravity hammer and he will knock her out of where ever they are.
Ok, now I know I just focused only on MC so I will give Selene a chance. Yes, she is amazingly fast so she MAY be able to dodge a bullet but not from point blank range. She can handle pistols very well so she could take down MCs shields but what about when she has to reload? MC can reload or just switch faster than she can. Think about that for awhile Selene fans!
From what I have read, Selene is slightly stronger and can jump father, but that would not come into play, seeing as mc would not let a fight get hand to hand, and even if did he mostly takes on stronger enemys all the time. Now then, if the fight is at mid to long range, mc will win. While it is true selene can take alot of pain, she can physicaly only take so many bullets before being rippied apart, while mc can take cover and let his shields recharge, Selene can not take cover and recharge her face. I think mc has this one, altough it might be a long one.
Um MC can lift a couple tons…

I think his match should be revisited due to Selene’s new found abilities and durability that put her on the same level as MC.

Well as seen in the newest movie she has the strength to shoulder block a speeding fully occupied van, the speed to kill werewolf security guards before they can fire a shot, and the durability to take bullets even headshots now.

i think selene could take the fight. ,Master chief takes 2 shotgun shots to kill( maybe just gameplay mechanics) while selene took one at point blank without ill effect. and that was before her upgrade
MC has destroyed Covenant space cruisers the size of earth. Selene might be able to put a dent in a car while using an Eighteen wheeler. Master Chief could use an incineration cannon and, well, INCINERATE her. One swing from a gravity hammer and Selene would literally have eyes on the back of her head. The max she could do is bring down an eighth of his shield. I’d like to see a wimpy vampire beat a legend like MC. My cats could tear her to shreds!

@Amm0 Not sure, anything noteworthy for SPARTANs in general they usually barely survive it through locking their armor, or having a reentry pack. I have no clue for Mark VII armor though, haven’t read Thursday War, and I’m not done with Glasslands so I couldn’t tell you.
You can change your loadouts to covenent,forerrunner, or UNSC.

@IceAssassin That’s for multiplayer, we’re talking standard loadout for MC in campaign; assault rifle, shotgun, DMR, battle rifle, pistol, etc. Some combination of those weapons.

We’re on a website discussing fictional characters, how are we nerds? More specifically how is Sorrow a nerd?
The two have roughly comparable weapons, though Selenes pistols are usually 9mm (like her Beretta 92SFs) or .40S&W (like her P99s) while MC has something more like .50AE for his pistol. He does have the range on her with his rifle unless she is allowed the rifle she is sometimes shown with in pictures (though iirc the only non-pistol she ever actually carries in the movies as anything but a pickup shoot then discard piece is the MP5 from “Evolution” and that only a little longer than the others). If she has access to the Vampire safehouses and armories though she could get a hold of just about anything.

MC would probably have more luck with the safari-round using BR55 than the 7.62 one since it would have slightly higher shock than the NATO one which might throw Selene off balance more when hit by it.

An interesting note is that she is able to fire her semi-auto P99s as fast as her full auto 92SF’s so it seems she can pull the trigger fast enough to turn anything into an impromptu machinegun for however long the clip holds out.

As of the last movie she does not even have to worry about daylight, apparently she evolves into a hybrid variant of some sort and is shown in it near the end of the movie.

MCs armor gives him a similar toughness and some of the speed of a vampire but it is more of a playing field leveler than a big advantage in itself.
At this point I am not sure who would have the advantage here, they are so well matched.
