Here we have the classic battle between high-tech and old-school. While most would say that MC would make this a quick fight, I know that Meta would present some trouble before going down. Regardless, it would be a fun match to watch.

I woke up to some epic battles this morning. But this one is by far my favorite.
Meta Knight is probably the most powerful playable character in SSBB, and Master Chief is no pushover, but I’m thinking MK wins this one.
First of all, he’s got Galaxia, a sword formerly thought to be the Master Sword. This blade pierces armour really quickly (Samus takes the same damage Link would).
He has the Halberd and an army of Waddle Dees, Waddle Doos, and monsters (who others may underestimate because they’re cute). The immense firepower of the Halberd could take out anything the UNSC could come up with.
In a ground confrontation, Meta Knight is frighteningly quick. He could dodge every single flying shard of hot lead that comes his way. The moment MC has to reload it’s over, since MK can teleport behind him and run him through.
Should MC use a Hornet or Banshee, MK can take those out with a flying slash.
If the battle rages on for too long, MK can use Galaxia Darkness to finish MC instantly.
hmmm,is metaknight fast enough to keep up with the spartan?most likely.

I remember reading somewhere that Meta Knight can slash with his sword at the speed of sound does anyone know if that is true? If so he would be an even more formidable opponent then I previously thought(and I knew he was very strong before).

As in…. the % dmg a person takes from an attack has no reflection on the quality of their armor. I mean, do you actually think mario could actually punch samus and hurt her? Really?
Dont judge on Brawl, if it was canon, samus would practically be unstoppable.
However, Metaknight can attack faster than the speed of sound, which is much faster than masterchiefs attack speed. Regardless of his reaction time, his physical body cannot move that fast. He may know a sword slice is coming for him, but he probabaly cannot move quick enough to dodge it
Hellatus, why even bother mentioning the spartan laser. Are you trying to handicap the poor chief? He is already slower than metaknight, give him a pile of garbage weapon and he is going to lose this match so fast. Yea, that worthless spartan laser is definitely going to hit someone as fast and small as metaknight.
Dont read too much into it. MC Fanboys tend to always revert to that clunkering piece of cumbersome technology to 1-up his oponents. They think that a one-hit-kill weapon in an FPS will be the ultimate point of reference for any discussion on the character.

Okay, so it is slightly less effective, MC still gets his ass handed to him.
And MK can teleport, that’s as fast as someone can possibly move unless they reappeared before they departed.

Master Chief wins what can Meta Knight do to dodge bullets or to kill the Chief first.
meta knight can move his sword at the speed of sound i believe.
Metaknight can teleport, fly, and has this annoying tendency to shoot beams from his sword. Unless MC hit a very small (about as big as Kirby, who is 8 inches tall), very fast target that teleports around, he will lose. I doubt MC’s radar could even track MK, as he moves way too fast. And say what you will about the Chief’s relflexes, but Metaknight is faster, and getting into melee with him would be suicide.
Yea Meta Knight just teleports and stabs MC in the back.
To top off his crazy speed, MK can also abuse the infinite invisibility bug…. ^_^

While most of the responses have been n00b posts that add nothing to the thread, I’m glad to have some support for the MK side here. I’d like to add that Galaxia can create waves of flame, tornadoes, and electrical energy fields. Also, Meta Knight has defeated the most powerful being in his universe, Galacta Knight, after releasing him himself for entertainment.
Superior speed gets this one. Teleportation and a supersonic sword are a combo of death.
It should be noted, however, that Metaknight is tiny. What 8 inches tall? Therefore his sword cannot be that big either. So metaknight physically cannot kill master chief in one hit. This is going to be like a fight in Shadow of the Colossus, except both fighters are much faster. If meta keeps moving, he should win, but MC is not going to go down quickly with his superior armor and durability.

uhh… luke skywalker would own the chief in 3 seconds… just like Darth Vader could. Meta Knight has a MUCH better chance versus MC.

If Meta gets a plasma on him hes probably dead, but he is really, really fast. Not to mention really small.
It is possible that Chief could pin a grenade on Meta Knight, but depending on what type, he could…

And also, even though Meta Knight is only slightly taller than Kirby, he’s still significantly more deadly. Although his sword is rather small, its incredibly powerful and…(Well, basically a ,am with a claymore cna be killed by a master with a knife, thats what I think of)
And it doesn’t matter how big Galaxia really is, its still more than capable of piercing the Chief’s visor and sticking between his eyes.
Hmm to be honest I dont know who to give this to, I’m usually against the Master Chief, and no normal human could stand a chance against MK but this is oddly a great matchup, because MK could dodge most attacks (if not all) MC throws at him, but who knows what’d happen

All the Spartans were selected from a group of 150 6 year olds who had been classified as as close to being scientifically perfect as can be. Extremely intelligent, strong, fast… etc. They were trained by the best since the age of six. These qualities and training would have made an extraordinary soldier even without augmentations and advanced armor.
During their training, they learned advanced math, science, and strategic/tactical skills. They have, in their Mjolnir MK VI armor, reaction times under 10 milliseconds, incredibly fast movements, increased strength, and energy shielding. Their armor is made up of a super-strong metal (probably some sort of alloy, can’t remember though). The Spartans were even able to dodge bullets (not every bullet fired at them, just some). They could do this because of their increased reflexex, which caused them to see the world in slow motion. Their reflexex were further amplified from adrenaline.
All of the Spartans received several augmentations at the age of 14. Their bones were made practically indestructible, eyesight drastically increased, intelligence increased, strength greatly increased, and were injected with some chemical that made them grow taller and stronger (growth hormone?). There might be others that just aren’t coming to mind. They could also run extremely fast. In fact, during a “training” exercise, MC, after deflecting a missile with his hand that was traveling at high speeds (not like a rocket launcher from H3 or anything), he sprinted to the finish at 64 mph i think it was… or maybe kph? (I know, there’s a big difference), anyways, I just know it was really fast–fast enough to tear his achilles tendon.
MC can lift two tons or so (not sure on this one, could be higher, could be lower, alot of people think he can lift 4 tons, some think one ton… idk.) Without their armor on, the Spartans were able to dent solid, heavy metal plates with their bare hands, when they were 14 year olds, I believe. Master Chief also killed two highly-trained ODST’s, who were, before the Spartans, the military’s elite. He injured two others severely. He did all this on accident, and without his armor on. In hand to hand combat. When one of the ODST’s had a large metal bar (which he later bends by hitting the ODST so hard he flies out of the boxing ring).
If he can dodge bullets, he can dodge MK’s sword, which, if it even could, would take a long time to breach MC’s armor. He’s got shields, too, and a four inch long sword will hardly harm a 7 foot tall titanium-armored Spartan when it connects.
Also, Ryushi, I’m not saying you definetely were saying MC is a normal human, just posted that incase.
