A classic match between two ferocious fighters. While this would make for a fun fight (and it’s been done soo many times) – I still think Venom would win at the end.

fist com woohoo im gonna have to go with venom he seems to be a better figher and a stronger symbiote thing where carnage is just a psycho. so venom bashes his head in for a win after carnage runs at him screaming randomness

I’ve always liked Carnage best. He’s just much less predictable and vicious!!
And he has more powers using the symbiote too (detaching it from his body, forming knives etc.) So I go with Carnage

Alright Peoples Carnage is stronger then Venom but Carnage got his power from Venom and Venom is capaable of taking his powers back.
Carnage has the exact strength and speed of Spider-Man and Venom combined, I’m a massive Marvel buff, so I’ve seen their power level charts and Carnage is far superior. Plus, Cletus Kasady is basically a thinly veiled Joker, which is pretty badass.
Carnage beat Venom in something.. i don’t remember exactly where, i hate carnage, love venom, only spiderman char i like. But carnage wins D=

Well I’ve seen this battle before. Venom won in the end, he just absorbed Carnage and Venom got even stronger than before.
Carnage hands down. He is meaner, dirtier, and more brutal, those beat strength any day.

it is a fact that carnage would win becuz of his abilites and the fact that his sym has bonded to him perfectly since he is crazy.venoms sym is not bonded because it leaves brock. carnage also refers to himself as i while venomstill says we. i like venom better but carnge is stronger. he can make blade and whips and hammers while venom just whips and bite. TOXIN is stronger than both combined though.

Venom is much stronger by far and can take more hits but Carnage is quicker and more sadistic. Venom uses his suit to hit his victims with strong hits at a range then pound them in melee where as Carnage uses his suit to shot spikes and make slashing and stabbing weapons where as Venom bashes with his fists. I would give the edge to Venom because he is a brute but this fight truly comes down to force v.s. finesse. Would still be a close fight and a fun one to watch.
An even more interesting match could be between Anti-Venom and Carnage. I haven’t been paying attention to Marvel for the longest time so I don’t know if that’s already come to pass but I know for a fact that Venom (Gargan) and Anti-Venom (Brock) did have a face-off at one point.
As for this debate, Carnage’s symbiote has always been portrayed as stronger than Venom hasn’t it? Each generation of symbiote is supposed to be much stronger than the former, with Toxin as a prime example. Using the current incarnation rule we’d be using Mac Gargan as Venom rather than Eddie Brock. Although Gargan is more brutal in terms of his fighting style, I don’t think he’s as inventive as Eddie Brock. In order to beat Carnage, one needs not only pure strength but also the ability to use whatever limited abilities they have to their advantage. That being said, I think it would be a close match, but Carnage is going to end up on top.
Carnage has been viewed as the bigger threat that is true but when venom fought carnage in the story line it wasn’t the traditional carnage it was the peter parker carnage from the old cartoon. In which case he had the advantages of spiderman’s powers and carnages against venom. Venom is physically stronger but Carnage is comparable to a madman on pcp, you may be giveing him a beating but that doesn’t mean he will notcie. Symbiote’s typically aren’t that much stronger their strength is determined by the ones they bond with, the higher the emotions the more powerfull the suit. Venom feeds off Anger and rage where as Carnage feeds off of Madness and bloodlust, that is why venom changed after tasting sorrow and remorse and became anti-venom. It will be a close fight but I still favor venom in this fight. I’m interested in Prime (another symbiote) v.s. venom.

Because in nearly every fight against the two, Venom ends up beating the crap out of Carnage. Hell, the only reason he’s not dead is that Spidey keeps saving Carnage’s ass.
