If you haven’t heard of MySpace, I suggest you pull the plug to your internet connection and return to your life as a hermit.
MySpace is essentially the web’s hang-out place – it’s intentions are to get you re-introduced to your old high school friends (unless you’re still suffering through it), sets up possible dates, lets you see local events, and tries to give everyone a sense of Internet coolness.
This is all great, but for the amazing amount of traffic that the site generates, can you target any one audience, and try to sell a product or service to them?
Methinks that would be a hard task.
Not that you shouldn’t try, and I am sure there are enough products and services that the MySpace crowd would be interested in.
But can you get your message to them without getting flagged as spam? Craigslist users do a great job of policing spammy postings, when there are avid readers of a certain topic.
To get rich in America, you need to have a product that has 2 things:
1.) sell for $20 or less
2.) can be purchased at Wal-Mart
Every piece of white trash can afford a $20 item.
So, with that in mind, I ask if anyone “out there” has had any success in doing this – I’d love to hear your thoughts…
FIRST!!!!!
