Heroes Vs Horrors
Ash (Evil Dead series, right after Army of Darkness), chainsaw hand, shotgun, 800 rounds.
Blade (3rd movie version), any gear used in Blade 3.
Nick Burkhardt (Grimm series current version) standard sidearm with ammo, shotgun, his trailer is in the parking lot.
Buffy (Buffy the vampire slayer, TV series, final episode version) standard gear.
Daryl Dixon (Walking dead), crosbow, 100 bolts, machete.
Location: A Super Wallmart, 30 civilians inside. Everything is in play.
Prep: 12 hours, no intel on the waves, all they know is that they have 24 hours 12 hours to prepare for an assault.
Round 1: 1000 Return of the Night of the Living Dead 2 zombies assault the store. 2 hour break afterwards
Round 2: The Collector (Tales from the Krypt Demon Knight, played by Billy Zane) leads an army of 100 demons. 3 Hour break afterwards.
Round 3: 100 cultist lead by an unarmored chaos space marine (Mark of Khorne CSM, WH40K) equipped with whatever they find laying around. 4 Hour break afterwards
Round 4: 10 Xenomorphs (Aliens). 5 Hour break afterwards.
Round 5: 30 Orcs and 20 goblins (Lord of the Rings)
How will this end?
Well this seems odd- I’d peg either the Xenomorphs or the Chaos Space Marine as the “FINAL ROUND” material. Not the Orks and Goblins- I’m fairly sure Buffy alone could solo Round 5; let alone the guys with guns or Blade.

Blade’s definitely going to be useful- but is movie Blade allowed comic Blade feats or not?
–
Blade fights Deacon Frost and finds a way to work around his immortality.

–
Blade fights Dracula, couple of strength feats like embedding his blade into that pillar and kicking Dracula pretty damn far at one point.

Also manages to take being slammed into the floor hard enough to leave a crater with not much more than a “wtf” expression.

Fairly sure he has bullet-timing feats in one of the movies. Also, he carries: guns, katana, serum, and his glaive; probably a few stakes as well. His armor also can tank bullets with no noticeable discomfort at all on Blade’s part.
No comic book versions. Also the match starts from hardest to easiest.
again a battle vs zombies and demons and no doomguy? why are you people torturing him so! The man needs to get his hands dirty too you know!
–
but anyway,on topic I think that the heroes have enough firepower to get to round 4 but then they’ll probably be outmatched unless the demons are Doom demons then I think that they might stop there, cause you know, the archvile and everyone else. But if not then they can pass them easily.
@Murder
goddamn it man you should have said something sooner.
A little info on the first two rounds: ROTNOTLD zombies are immune to everything but electricity. You can chop them up into little pieces and they’ll keep trying to kill. Burn them and they release a gas that gets in clouds and cause more dead to rise.

Tales from the Crypt Collector is an angel of the devil… or something. He’s probably as strong as a Blade vampire but his real strength is possession through persuation. He makes “deals” with people promising them everything they want in return he turns them into demons. There are 30 civilians in the store who could be turned if not any of the 5 heroes. The demons can only be killed by destroying both eyes but in doing so the eyes release some kind of lightening attack.

Odd, but understandable.

I’m gonna have to ask for a clip or something that shows bullets through the brain, being lit on fire, and decapitation specifically not working, cause that sounds really off.

those zombies also have some level of intelligence, like they can speak, plan etc. Also seems to be where the whole zombies eating brains thing came from.
Yeah they had crazy ass durability in the first two movie. Then the other sequels happened….
Oh, satirical zombies, yay.
–
Still, if they can be dismembered then they’ll be easy enough to take down; they might not stay down but hey- 30 civilians in a Walmart can be easily outfitted to pick up and remove the limbs after the Heroes dispatch them.
–
I’ve only ever been in a small Walmart about half an hour from my village- what do normal Walmart’s have in them? Nets? Clothing? Guns?
Buffy and Daryl are both pretty good at training regular people to fight evil- Blade probably would be if he gave a shit.
Which of these guys are supposed to kill the csm and cultists?
Friendly, Super Wallmarts have guns, mostly shotguns and rifles, as well as ammo, sporting goods, outdoor stuff, clothes, food, electronics, gardening… pretty much anything can be found there.
–
Pimp, the heroes have 12 hours to fortify the wallmart. All the horrors will be trying to get in and kill them. I’m think most of the cultist, zombies and orks could be kept out. The CSM would get in and I imagine it will be up to Blade and Buffy to handle him. They’ll have guns, which should help against the CSM.
You said something about the cultists having to scavenge too? Or do they start with misc standard gear?
They start with nothing. They just spawn in the parking lot. A parking lot full of cars but we will not speculate as to what is in the cars only that they can use whatever a car offers.. which could include tire irons but not a gun found in the purse of a toyota Corolla.
Isn’t the Collector from Demon Knight invincible?. I’m pretty sure that you need
the blood from the key to kill him. Because shooting out his eyes won’t work.
Shooting out the eyes only works on lower demons. The blood of christ is the only thing that kills him. But he can still be beaten back. He feels pain and will retreat from it.
I honestly don’t think the Heroes can take this one- the specific weaknesses required to kill these enemies are entirely unknown by the characters and even run contrary to what they’re used to in some cases.
–
While I think they can take apart the zombies fairly easily, the zombies refusing to stop for anything but electricity is something I doubt they’d ever figure out naturally.
And the demons requiring to be specifically injured in the eyes is also something they’d never try- because if you can cut off something’s head and it keeps working- stabbing the eyes is not the natural next step.
–
The specific requirements needed to take down these adversaries is likely too hard to figure out in the heat of battle-
Buffy and Blade both rely on others to tell them how to kill things and Daryl has never dealt with supernatural things like this.
–
The cultists are so much fodder and the CSM can’t 1v5 and win.
Xenomorphs are only a problem if they surprise you can get right on you.
And Buffy or Blade alone could probably take on the Orks and Goblins.
I actually dont see the cultist being an issue. if the store is well barricaded the 30 civilians inside should be able to use murder holes to lay secure fire down killing most. The aupwr wallmart should have at least 20 or more rifles and shotguns with plenty of ammo.
–
Thw zombies and demons would be the deal breaker. I could see the heroes trying to take on the zombiea by decapitation and headshots only to have a decapitated head bite their ankle.
–
The Collector could easily turm all 30 civilians as well. Only one peraon turned down his offer in the movie.
