    Dresden complains about not going to the Marvel universe instead and probably ends up teaming up with Constantine.
    And now suddenly there’s galaxy busting archangels running around DC doing…whatever they normally do in DF and of course there’s a whole nother race of Eldritch Horrors that will wipe out the universe if they win in DC now.

    Long run it probably doesn’t make much difference.

    “probably ends up teaming up with Constantine.”

    It’d be like a cop movie. Good wizard, bad wizard; a horrible day for anyone or thing involved.

    Butters applies for Star Labs.
    Murphy would probably get a green lantern ring if that ever becomes a thing again.
    The number of people who could be superheroes increases.
    The council might find someplace working with Argus magical branch. I know Waller would be intrested in them.

    Dresden might merit an invitation to the Justice League- his knowledge of the new arrivals would be very useful- Batman has recruited people for far less.
    He’d probably be used as a teacher for a good chunk of Young Justice too. Yes I know, cartoons aren’t canon- humor me.

    “Dresden might merit an invitation to the Justice League”

    Not with Winter pulling his strings. Though he might be a good tutor for Shazam.

    There have been at least 2 maybe 3 schools for supers in canon. I would not be surprised if there were more.
    He’d probably become some kind of freelance magical consultant or investigator for the various organization of the world.

    They might begrudgingly let the Winter thing slide since she’s fighting to keep the new Eldritch horrors out. I’m sure they can appreciate that, plus right now they need a detective, because you know there are no other detectives in DC besides Batman and Batgordon so there is high demand for people that can do detective things because there are no heroes capable of it.

    Sounds like they of kept Montoya around to be the Questoon, instead of what the hell ever is currently the Question

    Luthor probably would. Maybe the Demi-god and maybe the sea king. Do see either the Bat or the Alien going for it, at least no initially.

    There is almost everyone Batman has trained save Jason Todd… Also technically Superman. More so with his de-powering forcing him to be more like Batman was.
    Also, Detective Chimp.
    EDIT: Flash.

    “Montoya around to be the Questoon, instead of what the hell ever is currently the Question”

    He’s a supernatural centuries year old guy who is trying to solve the mystery of who he was before his identity was stripped from him. I think I’ll call him Dick because of the allusion to Dick Tracy and because he’s kind of a jerk… Now that I think about it he might go to somebody like Dresden. He need help and Drsden clientele is just full of people like that.

    And yet….they go to recruit Batgordon over every single one of the Bat Family, over Detective Chimp, over the Question, over Flash who technically works at a crime lab still I think and is you know…on the Justice League already….they gave no real implication that they went to any of the Batfamily just straight to Batgordon….because DC really wants to push Batgordon which is why they are shoving him into every comic they can.

    “they gave no real implication that they went to any of the Batfamily just straight to Batgordon”

    To be fair, Dick being alive might still be a secret and Red is leading the titans into fugitive status. Damian is a kid. Batwing is retired and batgirl is… Actually why didn’t they go to Batgirl? She seems like a logical next step.
    Maybe the Batman name itself has the league whipped. Barry is basically Horatio Cane with superspeed. He really should be there next go to guy.

  10. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 6:33 pm -      #10

    Doesn’t Damian still have really high end super powers thou………………………………………………………….
    What the fuck happened to Damien? Why doesn’t Bruce know he has a fucking son? Besides the amnesia I mean.

    And what about Tim Drake? What’s he doing wasn’t he supposed to be like the most detectivy of the Batfamily behind Batman himself?
    And yeah Batgirl and her whole I can remember every detail of all the things even if I was drunk out of my fucking mind ability would be perfect.

    And there there’s still the other detectives….and even Constantine is a detective isn’t he?

    Going to Batgordon really feels like DC trying to shove him down the readers throats.

    No they ran out. He is off fixing all his past sins he accumulated when he was being raised by his mother with Goliath

    As for the Bruce and Damian situation, they haven’t really gone into that. He might be filed under, at the boarding school because I recall him attending Gotham academy.
    Then again, if they are trying to hide Bruce’s past, Damian’s very existence is a can of very mean worms they don’t want to accidentally reintroduce itself so his trip might also double as hiding until he can take up the mantle or something.
    ===
    “And what about Tim Drake?”

    Red is very busy. Leading the titans. Trying to save Superboy. Dealing with Manchester Black. Having to keep tabs on Spoiler and Bluebird to make sure they are okay. Dealing with the Robin Eternal situation.
    So he is to teen superheroes what batman was to regular superheroes right now.
    ===
    “and even Constantine is a detective isn’t he?”

    They’d probably risk dealing with Dresden and the winter baggage before anyone would willingly go to Constantine. That could probably be Harry’s new slogan
    “Like Constantine, minus the Assholishness”
    ===
    “Going to Batgordon really feels like DC trying to shove him down the readers throats.”

    They are. The guys only got until #50(I think) so they got to fit him in where they can.
    Personally I’m just going to take it as right time/place moment of convenience thing because when he’s written right Jim batman is kind of fun. He’s like a palate cleanser after dealing with Superior spiderman and Ironman replacements being evil or morally ambiguous. .

  12. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 7:46 pm -      #12

    I wonder how Constantine will take Harry. I mean, he makes a good alternative right? It be like having delt with good cable but shitty service then finding a company that is good on both fronts.

  13. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 8:00 pm -      #13

    Ah…so Damians on the bus so to speak.

    Oh, that’s who you meant by Red, thought you meant Red Hood for some reason.

    Right they probably would but I meant as far as pre-Dresden showing up DC he was at least an option over Batgordon

    You mean the League picking him or him becoming BatGordon as convenience?

  14. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 8:57 pm -      #14

    ” thought you meant Red Hood for some reason”

    Yeah that does get confusing. I normally just calling him either Jason, Todd, or Hood.
    ===
    “You mean the League picking him or him becoming BatGordon as convenience?”

    The League picking him.

    As for Him getting picked for batman, Writing wise, I think they didn’t want to do the thing they did last time so they went with someone who wasn’t already a hero but still related to the batfamily.
    ===
    “Right they probably would but I meant as far as pre-Dresden showing up DC he was at least an option over Batgordon”

    Constantine has an stated disdain for capes. Even with that aside, Shazam has a legitimate reason to keep the consulting between John and the Lague less then likely over anyone else if they had the choice.

    Harry and Cyborg stay FAR away from eachother

  16. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 9:07 pm -      #16

    They were in Gotham, but only because they wanted to see if the Lasso of Truth would shake any Bats out of Amnesia Bruce’s Belfry. It didn’t work, Barry was with them as was Cyborg…so they went to Bat Gordon because he was the only person with the skills needed besides Batman. Their list of Detectives was
    Bruce
    Gordon
    no one else because there are no others if we can’t get Gordon we’re fucked. Also Shazam doesn’t get to be on the cover with the rest of the League because BatGordon needs as much space as possible.

    Ah, well still I would think he would be higher on the list then “police officer/marine whose only been at this hero thing a couple of months”

  17. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 9:16 pm -      #17

    “Harry and Cyborg stay FAR away from eachother”

    I bet there someone who could figure out a way to handle that in DC. That or Cyborg is going to have to figure out if his body can morphs into something more steam punk.

  18. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 9:19 pm -      #18

    Well Cyborg’s new tech might be weird enough to be okay.
    Course it would be hilarious.

    What have I missed out on…?

  20. Jake_Uzumaki October 16, 2015 at 12:14 am -      #20

    The reason Bruce isn’t Batman is because he has total amnesia of everything.

  21. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets October 16, 2015 at 2:44 am -      #21

    @Jake So I’m assuming newer Bats issues then? Hmmm, thought it might have had something to do with Batman and Robin Eternal with him being mind controlled and whatnot.

  22. Jake_Uzumaki October 16, 2015 at 11:29 am -      #22

    As far as I know not connected to Batman Eternal but not sure.

    Nope, brain damaged after the events of Endgame… Or brain dead. One of those two.

  24. Jake_Uzumaki October 16, 2015 at 1:55 pm -      #24

    damaged, since he’s functioning he just has amnesia

    “since he’s functioning he just has amnesia”

    I can’t remember what issue it was from but Alfred mentions the healing fluid that joker was using seeped into him keeping him alive and regenerating him. I think he technically died.

    I found it

    Mircale come back to life juice, oh but this is Comictownverse, where everything that could be good for humanity gets spoiled by super-villains.
