What can False King Allant do?
@Mea Quidem Sententia at #01
False King Allant is basically a Malicious counterpart to King Gwyn of Dark Souls, and is also Bloody mobile on top of having a Grip that can weaken opponents unless you break out of it in time.
Depending on if we’re using ‘True’ Allant at his Prime or we’re using that Imposter we saw in-game, that’s gonna affect a lot of how this fight plays out.
Either way this fight’s gonna be nada short of bloody epic to say the least.
So, Pass the flavored popcorn or what?
It’s the debut of anything from Demons’ Souls after all, may as well watch the fireworks.

I LOVE everything about Ghirahim’s power set.
Rapid short range teleportation
Creation of magical barriers
Summoning of multiple swords/daggers
Telekintic control of said bladed
Hardening of skin in to metal
–
But I absolutly DESPISE his character and design.
Ghirahim’s personality
Ghirahim is condescending and pretentious, as he thinks Link’s life or death has no consequence. He suffers from delusions of grandeur, as he calls himself “Demon Lord” and would actually prefer to be called “Lord Ghirahim”. If plans don’t go his way, he’ll become angry, nay, murderous. While Ghirahim was impressed by Link’s first battle with him, thinking that Link wasn’t going to last, he attributes Link’s victory to his sword, and then lets Link know that he wasted time teasing and toying with him.
–
Perhaps Ghirahim only behaved this way towards Link because he thought nothing of him. Perhaps he’ll see Old King Allant differently, and thus won’t tease or toy around. Then again, that depends on his level of importance against one who claims to be a king. Ghirahim is also theatrical. It’d make sense, considering his style of clothing is like that of a jester. However, he is bent on the idea of corporal punishment and is verbally abusive and will try to undermine Link in any way he can, calling him “soft boy”, or “child”, “petulant brat”, or remarking that Link is “simple” and “knows nothing of magic.”
–
Anyway, there hasn’t been any evidence provided that Ghirahim is immune to having his soul taken away. He has a tendency of getting close if he’s not using his diamond-shaped projectiles. Old King Allant can take his opponent’s soul if he/she gets too close.
“Anyway, there hasn’t been any evidence provided that Ghirahim is immune to having his soul taken away”
–
If Ghirahim has a soul. It is wrong to just assume that he does.
–
He is a sword. I dont find a soul likely. I’m not saying that he doesn’t just that i dont think its likely.
@LadyRamkin
He likely is a spirit. He describes himself as “Demon Lord”. While Hyrule Warriors is not canon, Fi is described as “the spirit living inside [Link’s] Sword [sic].”

–
Like I said, Hyrule Warriors may not be canon, but the creators have a say in who or what their characters are. I would consider that since Ghirahim is Fi’s counterpart, he’d also be a spirit.
Fi is called a spirit, but judging by the they way she talks and her general demeanour indicates to me that she is some kind of artifical being, she seems more like a computer than she does alive. And so i think saying that she has a soul is a stretch. And since Ghirahim is the same as her, i think saying he has a soul is a stretch.
–
Soul fuckery is not the be all and end all that it is so often made out to be on this site. People just seem to gloss over it with out even really checking into the details like we do with literally everything else.
–
first thing first, it is always assumed that every character unless explicitly stated otherwise has a soul. which just seems ridiculous to me. You may aswell assume that every character is a wizard unless explicitly stated otherwise.
–
Then you have to determine exactly what the soul fuckery does. does it remove the soul? tear it to pieces? lock it away? paralyze it? drain magic from it? what? WHAT???
–
THEN you have to determine how that character would react to that. Since different universes have different rules governing the soul. For instance in Harry potter tearing your soul into pieces just makes your skin a bit pasty and your nose fall off. Tear off a chunk and you become immortal and remove the whole thing and you basically become brain dead.
–
If there is a characters whose soul fuckery involves removing chunks of someones soul and that normally kills people in his universe and then they are put in a match with a Harry potter character, ALL that would happen when the soul fuckery is used, is that the Harry potter character is now immortal.
Okay, i do now that it is the grounding of that part of your soul in to an object that grants the immortality. But my point is not everyone reacts to the same things in the same way.
@LadyRamkin
I doubt she’s an artificial being. That’s just her personality in the same way Ghirahim’s personality is dramatic and condescending. She’s more like Spock. I honestly hate Fi because of it, though. It seemed too forced, so I don’t understand how those who made it to the end of the game were sad or even cried.
–
I don’t assume that every character has a soul. I think that’s a stupid thing to do. That’s why I asked and decided to confirm this myself. I think that if they’re spirits, they’re souls.

The Maiden in Black, who aids the demon slayers with her command of Soul power, was once one of the oldest, most dangerous demons herself.
“I doubt she’s an artificial being”
–
I swear that it says she was specifically created by hylia to help her chosen hero.
–
I could be totally wrong about that and i have no idea how to check.
– – –
“I honestly hate Fi because of it, though”
–
Amen to that.
– – –
” so I don’t understand how those who made it to the end of the game were sad or even cried.”
–
I did make it to the end, and i was quite upset that she didnt die and just “went to sleep” i think is how it was put.
– – –
“I don’t assume that every character has a soul”
–
Good, you are sensible
– – –
” I think that’s a stupid thing to do.”
–
And you are correct
– – –
“I think that if they’re spirits, they’re souls.”
–
eeeeeeeeeeeeehhh, i suppose…..
– – –
“Sucks the soul out of whoever it touches.”
–
Okay…. so if they ARE a soul, surely they cannot have their soul sucked out??? Unless the sword is his body?? And using the technique kills him and just leaves a sword behind?
–
Or would it just absorb him entirely?
@LadyRamkin
God created humans out of the dust of the land, according to Hebrew myth. The reason why I used this example is because Hylia is supposed to be the goddess.
–
Glad to see someone else hates Fi’s guts.
–
I think Ghirahim would be more vulnerable if he’s not within a body. So I would suspect that if he was in his sword form, perhaps he’d be more resilient. Or perhaps the forms these characters take are just physical manifestations and they dwell within them.
“Glad to see someone else hates Fi’s guts.”

I wasn’t aware that anyone liked her
@LadyRamkin
Logically, there’s a 100% chance that plenty have applied rule 34 to her. Logically.
