Ghost Rider (Marvel) will go up against Balrog (LoTR).

Ghost Rider is in his Robbie Reyes incarnation.

On a fateful night in Los Angeles, Robbie encounters the Balrog while on patrol.

Who wins?

This fight’s anyone’s game at the moment.
And there goes the Los Angeles Neighborhood, that’s for sure.
Just in case, how does Robbie Reyes stack up next to guys like 616 Johnny Blaze and some of the other Ghost Riders?

Also, WHICH Balrog are we particularly using?
The Balrog of Moria or Gothmog?
It makes a hell of a difference to say the least.

Y u do dis man? This fight’s hilariously one-sided. Robbie Reyes could defeat Gandalf the Grey (who defeated Durin’s Bane) so I’m just gonna call this a stomp unless you wanna switch Durin’s Bane out for someone with feats like composite sauron or just Pre-Second Age Sauron.* I take this back this would be a weird match up and most likely still end with robbie’s win but perhaps a try?

Just in case, how does Robbie Reyes stack up next to guys like 616 Johnny Blaze and some of the other Ghost Riders?

He’s less experienced, so he hasn’t learned Penance Stare. He’s not as strong as Blaze but still has super strength. He’s bulletproof like his car and his car also took a missle to the face.

Umm, why? Robbie isn’t as strong or as fast or as durable as the other Rider’s.

Technically Gothmog is stronger. Somewhere around Sauron’s level. The thing is he was in the Silmarillion so all of the opponents are crazy strong and hard to quantify.

For example the strongest elf then could wtfpwn 10 gandalfs. Morgoth was still powerful enough to smash holes into the crust that let magma through and he had to punch this elf in the face three times to stun him enough to kill him.

So back on topic Gothmog has like three actual combat scenes ever. He kills the arguably second strongest elf in combat. Yelled at hurin scarrily. And died fighting another strong elf who impaled Gothmog on his helmet and thus was able to wrestle him into a pool and drown themselves. I can not remember how special this pool was. It was blessed by one of the Valar but it might not have really hurt him any more than normal water. Oh yea he also got to ride a dragon.

The guys from Ultimate End are all 616 or Ultimateverse. 616 Peter Quill was actively looking for his old crew after Strange dispersed them and went to the Guardians of Knowhere so they might be the same as the 616 crew. All of Doom’s personal crew(Invincible Woman, Human Torch, Franklin, Valeria, Galactus)I think are also 616.

Yea, everyone there was 616 or Ultimate. They were wondering how the world got how it was and we’re basically trying to not get fried by Thors. 616 Tony and Ultimate Tony don’t get along well.

Just read the first two issues, and I don’t think they’re the same.

-Cyclops didn’t have the Phoenix Force and was killed before Strange scattered the heroes
-Spider-Man didn’t know that the Ultimate Verse knew his identity, even though he found that out in Spider-Men
-That’s another thing too: Why is Spidey in Ultimate End even though he was in the Raft and then got scattered?
-And wasn’t the Raft rebuilt in 616 and not called the Raft anymore?

Maybe Ultimate End is just a What If type world…

So more reasons why I don’t believe Ultimate End is has the canon characters:
-Ultimate Cap and Punisher died during Cataclysm, why are they there?
-616 Peter already had the moment with 1610 Aunt May and Gwen, why is he acting like he didn’t?
-Miles appears at the end of issue 4, but he’s with 616 Peter in SW #6

@Nsl IDK, made sense to me though. It’s not just 616, Ultimate is there as well. There also seed to be others too since some of the heroes weren’t among the meeting in the first issue IIRC.

Eh, I hope it gets explained as to how the heroes who died spontaneously came back to life. Cuz Black Widow, Beast and Punisher definitely died during the battle in the first issue. And we know Cyclops got stomped in issue 4. And yet there they are, fighting and alive in Ultimate End.

He may have been on par with Sauron but even than it’s not really possible to give Gothmog good combat feats seeing as IIRC those three fight ‘scenes’ don’t give Gothmog durability feats or anything of true value. Even when compared to Sauron it’s still not a very good comparison seeing as how Sauron was considered the ‘Brains’ between the two Lieutenants of Morgoth.

That was what I was trying to say. If someone asks me about anything like that then I have to say well they are pretty strong but they fight barely ever.

Shhhh I like opponents to have feats. Alas we’ll never get solid feats for the upper class LoTR characters. Because I’d say Ancalagon the Black would be a monster on a level of his own alone.
