An interesting match between the dream warrior and the X-man. It’s hard to see a scenario where Freddy can win, even in the ‘dream state’.
Maybe Freddy continually harasses Wolverine so that he drives him insane?

No contest. Wolverine dies in his sleep after trying again and again to finish Freddy, where no regeneration can save him. Regeneration covers lost limbs, not fear induced heart attack.
Wolvey dies, Freddy goes on to kill his true target, the teenaged Jubilee.
Since Wolverine just regenerates EVERYTHING, everytime Freddy thinks hes dead, he just gets back up. But maybe Freddy could battle him pyschologically, like with his past memories and have him relive the procedure with the adamantium skeleton. But in the end, i think they would do the same trick they did in Freddy VS Jason and have Wolverine pull Freddy into the real world and then Wolverine could just cut him to peaces.

Well, I guess it will depend on many factors.
One – Krueger may find the convoluted mind of Logan to be very hard to navigate.
Two – Bravery weakens the nightmare-man, and Wolvie is pretty fearless on everything.
Three – If logan beleives he regenerates in his dreams, he will regenerate. Pretty simple.
Four – Same goes for the power of adamantium.
Five – Wolverine keeps sustaining mental invasions from psychic mutants and has been known to come out on top.
Bottom line is that I dont think Krueger has what it takes to keep this beast down. I think it would be interesting to see Freddy pinned against some of these psychics.

Freddy’s immortal, Logan’s immortal. It’s a never-endin’ problem for both. However, as far as the battles they’ll fight, Logan wins most of ‘em, if not all of ‘em. So, as far as battles go, Logan wins. As far as who’s gonna die first, it’s a draw.

Wolverine would obviously destroy Freddy in the real world. In the Dream world Freddy couldnt kill Jason because he was aware of his own immortallity. I would assume that Wolverine would be aware of his own indestructibility. So id assume Wolverines animal senses would give him the reflexes to grab freddy and awake easier then a normal person.
ya but he could still expose his weakenase (spellin) he still need air just like on freddy vs jason when he was about to drown jason but… i watched x-men 1 and 2 and he is cool and not dumb either he killed that strong women in x-men 2 and maybe you should do magneto vs the professer

wolverine can beat freddy in real world, but freddy could trick him in his dreams. But if wolverine will not show any fear in freddy’s dream then freddy can’t do anything to him
I dobt Freddy could hurt Wolverine in either dream or Real-life. Wolverine is brave, his mind is pretty messed up. ROFL what if Freddy went to Deadpool’s mind?! So Wolverine wins.
Wolverine is brave when it comes to his own safety. On the other hand, he does have weak-spots. Ones only he knows, but Freddy has a fair amount of skill with learning peoples deepest fears and using them.
All freddy would need to do with Wolverine is convince him that he’s not going to regenerate. Belief only works if you know thats how the Nightmare world works.
Wolverine beating freddy in the real world is a no brainer, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be able to get him there.
That Wolverine has a messed up mind is debatable. He’s likely insane, but insane people can have amazing clarity, and just because wolverine can’t understand it doesn’t mean freddy won’t. he managed well enough in Jason Vorhees’ mind did he not, and I don’t think anyone can argue he’s sane.
Freddy whould clearly win this one because he bosen’t need to fight Wolverine litterally. He can just wax him while he sleeps.And if that proves not to work too good then we all know Wolverine has a background that gave him a few bad dreams and Freddy will use this to assure victory.

I call this one a draw…….it’s a bad match up, and only made because of the claws. But Wolverine is a purely physical entity, albeit a nearly indestructible one. Freddy lives in the dream state. Frankly I doubt Wolverine could beat Freddy in the dream world…….but any damage done to Wolverine probably wouldn’t be permanent in the real world.
A better matchup is Freddy versus Ghost Rider…………which would last about 2 seconds, as Ghost Rider gave him the penance stare and drags him to hell.
If Freddy tries to drive Wolverine insane via harassment, he won’t accomplish anything, except getting himself diced to bits in retribution.
Wolverine for the win.
If I understand it correctly Freddy steals the souls of his victims. In otherwords he is bypassing Logan regeneration ability completely and kills Logan by taking his soul.
This is a fight Logan cannot win.
in his dream, Wolverine attacked by freddy’s claw but his powerful healing factor and his Adamantium bones makes Freddy’s attack useless………….
so freddy decide to Wake Wolverine and apolegize and wants him to forgot his dream
One problem people who are against Freddy winning, he’s immortal even in the real world (if I’m wrong someone please correct me) I mean really he was still alive even after Jason removed his head and carried it with him when he walked back out of the lake.
I kill Freddy in my dreams, and I’m just a normal girl with no powers. If I can kill Freddy, then Wolverine would demolish him. And no, Freddy couldn’t beat wolverine psychologically, Wolverine is pretty much out of it mentally, but he’s not an idioit! The man doesn’t fear anything, so do you honestly think he would be scared of a man with a glove full of knives? No! The drowining thing in his sleep wouldn’t work either, I don’t think he would stay asleep long enough for Freddy to do anything to him, I mean, he is aware of his own consciousness. So whoever thinks Freddy would win, needs to get thier head re-cheked.

I think this plays out a lot like the Master Chief vs Freddy fight. Bravery is Freddy’s weakness and Wolverine has no shortage of that. Coupled with the inability to die due to external force also makes this pretty hard.
Wolverine isn’t stupid either. He’d eventually figure out he can yank Freddy into the real world. At which point shit hits the fan.
