Riku Vs Sasuke Uchiha

Riku Vs Sasuke Uchiha

Suggested by Nsl98

Riku (Kingdom Hearts) will go up against Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto).

They fight in the town from the first Thor movie.

Both in current incarnation, no time stops for Riku.

Who wins?

    “No time stops”

    Sasuke can warp space to move people around and Riku loses time magic? Ooooookay.

    Well, list of hax Riku has:
    Poison
    Electricity
    Life Force Drain
    Auto-Kill attack
    Binding (Paralyzes)
    Gravity Manipulation
    Time Slows (YOU DIDN’T SAY SLOWS- AHA!)
    Magnet to move enemies
    Mini
    Blind
    Confuse
    Sleep
    Make himself invisible

    Think that’s all of them, some are AoE, some just happen, some can be channeled through his keyblade, some are a mix of the three.

    Off somewhere in the background, Naruto and Sora won’t shut up about saving their anti-hero bromance crush.

    My god….I can see it…Change the channel please Lowk. I’m tired of hearing how Sora missed his Anti-Hero buddy more than Naruto did.

    Sasuke can warp space to move people around and Riku loses time magic? Ooooookay.

    I didn’t ban the slows though. And Riku still has other hax that could help him out.

    Can Riku tank that?

    Possibly, his barrier certainly can if his body can’t.

    @Friendlysociopath
    What barrier?

  9. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 12:36 pm -      #9

    Possibly, his barrier certainly can if his body can’t.

    His body might come close. Riku tanked a beating from Xemnas and Xemnas proved he was capable of matching both Sora and Riku blow for blow. Sora and Riku both cut up buildings and wreck giant Heartless.

    @Mea
    Riku has dark shields that he uses.

  10. Friendlysociopath September 10, 2015 at 12:47 pm -      #10

    Riku tanked a beating from Xemnas

    Valid point, Xemnas nailed him right across the face and all it did was knock Riku back a bit; otherwise he took no damage from that.

    What barrier?

    Sora has Reflect, a barrier of energy that can block any attack and reflect it back at the enemy in the form of light.
    Riku instead has Dark Barrier/Dark Shield, which does the same thing minus the reflection.

    Said barriers can tank anything KH can dish out at them: Hercules hits, Sephiroth meteors, buildings beings thrown at you, lasers, bullets, rocks, and so on.

    As of DDD, Riku’s shield is a barrier that covers him:

    @Friendly
    Riku also uses his body as a shield against Xemnas in another QTE for…reasons. Seriously, he has a Keyblade. Wonder why he didn’t use it…

    Have any of your naurto fans ever had to take the time to remind yourselves that Naruto was originally a series about ninjas? Cuz I’m finding myself repeating it more and more as I get further into the shinobi war.

    Have any of your naurto fans ever had to take the time to remind yourselves that Naruto was originally a series about ninjas?

    Kinda the reason I don’t like it, at least Guren Lagann was consistent with being about pure willpower altering the universe.

    Naruto went from Ninjas to DBZ for reasons.

  23. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 6:30 pm -      #23

    @Lowk
    And DBZ started out as a little kid with a monkey tail searching for magic balls and fighting demons and a corrupt paramilitary organization. And lets not get started on Sailor Moon going from street level to cosmic goddess? Serial Escalation is kind of manga and anime’s thing. Naruto was just continuing Goku’s tradition, and one day Midoriya of Boku no Hero Academia will as well. He’s already taken up the fine tradition of bullrushing a villain to deck them in the schnozz.

    @Friendly
    to be fair the first page of the manga talked about a giant demon fox destroying mountains with waves of its tail and causing tsunamis
    i4.mangapanda.com/naruto/1/naruto-1564774.jpg
    just took time for the main character to get to that point and pass it

  24. Ninja Lowk September 10, 2015 at 6:50 pm -      #24

    @Jake
    It’s not the progression that gets me. I know shonen stuff power creeps; often at times like a formula 1 race car.
    But it’s even more noticeable when the story starts off based on ninjas. Even Ryu’s god of war moment didn’t shake me as much as some of the stuff that came out of Naruto.

  25. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 6:57 pm -      #25

    @Lowk
    would it make you feel better if I told you there’s multiple god Tree’s out there on other planets/in other dimensions in Naruto some even larger than the one Naruto faced and that the Ootsuki’s were apparently an interplanetary/interdimensional empire at some point?

  26. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 7:00 pm -      #26

    Oh also Naruto gave Boruto a Rasengan that launched Momokishi into orbit. And Momokishi can turn people into fruit and eat them to gain their powers or just absorb their attacks and automatically be able to use suped up versions. Rinnegan, it just keeps getting haxier.

  27. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 7:01 pm -      #27

    Wow, Naruto just got real.

    Battle of the Hokage should be a thing now. Then Revival of I.

    So how fast is Sasuke in terms of reactions? Riku is at the very least a lightning timer, with a possibility of being faster.

  28. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 7:26 pm -      #28

    Well he reacted to Madara’s lightning blast, though I know thats not real lightning. His Sharingan and Rinnegan give him some precognitive ability which helps him..I can’t remember I think in the fight with Pain Naruto’s Rasenshuriken was calced at…mach 20? and Pain was dodging that EoS Naruto and Sasuke are well above the power levels of that fight so…ridiculously high reaction times?

  29. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 7:30 pm -      #29

    K, so no one side is blitzing the other, though precog may give Sasuke an advantage..

    How does he handle being shrunk or bound in place? Some of Riku’s hax AoE’s can be tough to get around…

  30. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 7:57 pm -      #30

    bound in place he would probably use his swap teleport to switch his and Riku’s places trapping Riku in his own spell.
    shrinking I’m not sure

  31. Friendlysociopath September 10, 2015 at 8:28 pm -      #31

    bound in place he would probably use his swap teleport to switch his and Riku’s places trapping Riku in his own spell.

    KH magic works on the creature, I don’t think switching places is going to matter. And Riku is immune to most of his stuff anyways just by leveling up (They can immunity to the status effects they can inflict)

    Precog though, that’s probably going to be a problem for Riku.

  32. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 8:52 pm -      #32

    Madara used a similar technique to swap an invisible clone for himself when Naruto nailed him with a sealing jutsu so I think it peels the user out of binding spells. Not sure.

    How much shrinkage are we talking about actually? Because depending on the degree he might be able to just activate his Susanoo and it would be the size he normally is. Again depending on proprtions and what not…
    Although with the Susanoo blocking the rays of the Infinite Tsukinomi I wonder if spells would just splash against it.

  33. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 9:10 pm -      #33

    Although with the Susanoo blocking the rays of the Infinite Tsukinomi I wonder if spells would just splash against it.

    What exactly is the Infinite Tsukinomi? All I got from the scan was that it was magical moonlight and Naruto looked weird when it touched him.

    I don’t know what a nothing is made of. I didn’t really find those feats impressive.

  35. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 9:45 pm -      #35

    I don’t know what a nothing is made of. I didn’t really find those feats impressive.

    Why do we need to know what it’s made of? It’s a building sized monster that causes the ground to shake when it lands. And there is a metallic clanging noise when Roxas hits it.

  36. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 10:09 pm -      #36

    Its a Genjutsu reflected off of the moon, I’m not sure how that would relate to Kingdom Hearts Spells though.

    That creature was still visible so Sasuke might be able to pull off using the Susanoo to counter the effects of the shrink spell if it does hit him…I mean if normal people are roughly small action figure compared to the Susanoo then being small action figure sized would probably make the Susanoo roughly normal human sized. Is the shrinking temporary if left alone too long?

    I need to double check if he ever used the Rinnegans ability to absorb Jutsus…

  37. Nsl98 September 10, 2015 at 10:15 pm -      #37

    Is the shrinking temporary if left alone too long?

    Yes. The enemies revert back to the original size if you didn’t step on them fast enough.

  38. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 10:29 pm -      #38

    oh well shouldn’t be too much trouble best case scenario Sasuke activates his Susanoo and is still able to cause damage, worst case he teleports to another dimension/planet and waits out the hax before returning to the fight.

  39. Friendlysociopath September 10, 2015 at 10:35 pm -      #39

    worst case he teleports to another dimension/planet and waits out the hax

    Isn’t dimension jumping not allowed if the other side can’t follow? Riku can’t jump between dimensions.

    Why do we need to know what it’s made of?

    So we can gauge how heavy it is; although Riku is apparently equal to Sora in every way so… Sora can block hits from a not-holding-back Hercules… Hercules can still throw titans out of atmosphere in KH…
    Meh, take from that what you want.

    And there is a metallic clanging noise when Roxas hits it.

    That would probably be the keyblade.

    @Nsl98
    Determining what it’s made of would also determine its weight. Twilight Thorn is rather flexible and stretchy.

  41. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 10:50 pm -      #41

    I don’t think so, its one of the ways people are able to BFR each other in some matches, though I doubt Sasuke would attempt to BFR win as he’s never attempted to win by dropping someone in a dimension and ditching them before. Using it to plot and strategize or try to wait out hax is a different story though as I understand it.
    At least I’ve never seen anything against characters who can warp between dimensions being allowed to.

  44. Jake_Uzumaki September 10, 2015 at 11:01 pm -      #44

    Well Sasuke does have the Rinnegans chakra absorption. Not sure how or if that’ll come into play or if it would be able to, or how elemental compatibility is going to work here but still could prove problematic for Riku since we’ve seen that used for absorbing jutsus before. Again though not sure how we’re playing with elemental compatibility.

    Twilight Thorn is rather flexible and stretchy.

    And yet is still solid enough to cause the ground to shake with its impact and move the platform.

  46. Jake_Uzumaki September 11, 2015 at 2:36 pm -      #46

    and I forgot about Sasuke sucking the chakra from the Tailed Beasts

  47. Mea quidem sententia September 11, 2015 at 4:07 pm -      #47

    @Nsl98
    That’s because of its mass. The platform doesn’t look stable.

  48. Friendlysociopath September 11, 2015 at 4:25 pm -      #48

    The platform doesn’t look stable.

    Pretty sure it is, it’s a decently sized tower and it’s 100% solid if I remember BBS correctly.

    That said, it IS a battle inside of his heart/mind, so physical feats may be slightly out of the question for there.

    Then again, the few times we see creatures/people OUTSIDE of the Dive to the Heart they fight exactly the same as they did within it- so perhaps it can be taken as physical feats after all.

  49. Jake_Uzumaki September 11, 2015 at 5:46 pm -      #49

    So found an English Translation of the Novelization of the Boruto movie. Going to go through the chapters translated thus far and see if there’s any combat feats for Sasuke. Though I did find something good for one of the Ootusuki’s the big guy specifically. When he and Sasuke clash the first time Sasuke dodges a strike which splits the floor and as Sasuke chooses to flee in order to get a scroll he found to Naruto rather than risk a fight its revealed the blow is causing Kaguya’s castle to collapse.

    That would be either the castle seen here i9.mangapanda.com/naruto/682/naruto-5019487.jpg

    or
    i5.mangapanda.com/naruto/680/naruto-4999067.jpg

    however I’m leaning towards it being the former due to mention of darkness and a pathway which seems more likely with the former. Either way a quite large structure being destroyed with a single blow.
