Toa Tahu from Bionicle will go up against Prince Zuko from Avatar, the Last Airbender.
Toa Tahu does not have the Kanohi Vahi (Mask of Time). He is Tahu Nuva version and has access to those items that come with this version.
Zuko has his fire-bending and twin Dao swords.
Battle takes place in the Roman Coliseum, fight to the death.
If Zuko stomps then Toa Tahu will be replaced with Toa Kopaka Nuva (Toa of Ice) who is able to fight Tahu to a stalemate by nullifying his fire.
If Tahu stomps then he is replaced with Toa Mata version but without the golden armor.
Who will win?
Feats for Bionicle character?
Fiery blade that slices through a metal with rapidity, this was the movie btw.
Nova blast?
Another of my suggested fights.

They’re both fire manipulators. Tahu is made from metalic protodermis and his blades are protosteel which can break Makuta armor, they allow him to surf on lava. His mask is the Kanohi Hau of shielding, which he can us to project a shield over him, the minimum it did was deflect a lava flow.

Most Toa stand at around 7-8 feet tall and can be considered super human at least but I think Zuko is powerful enough to make the fight fair.

Something to add is that this is mostly based on comic feats as movie version is too childish.
I’l side with Toa for now.
“Powers:
Tahu was the master of heat and flame. In his time on Mata Nui, he created everything from small brush fires to raging infernos; used his flame to fuse a wall of sand into glass; superheated the air in an enclosed space until it caused an explosion; and created cages and other structures out of flame. Tahu also had in theory the ability the absorb all heat and flame in an area into himself, but never demonstrated this skill. He was an accomplished lava surfer and has a natural resistance to extreme heat”

In the Karda Nui arc, he does demonstrate the ability to absorb all heat in an area into himself.
–
He has the Kanohi Hau, which basically has the ability to generate a force-field around himself. As mentioned above in another post it can take being submerged in lava.
–
From the Official Guide to Bionicle (2003), he is able to melt any substance.
Tahu is a lightning timer:
“Off fighting another outbreak west of here with Kopaka,” said Tahu, hurling fireballs to try and divert the lightning strikes.

A massive avohkah was headed right for where Tahu and Lewa were standing. Both Toa reacted at the same time.

Mountain sized fireball while weakened, he’s the red one:

Tanks this:
A wall of water a thousand feet high crashes into the realm of Karzahni, shattering buildings, leveling everything and everyone in its path. I strain to make the currents obey, but cannot snatch the Staff from Icarax’s hand. I do succeed in using my mask power to allow my friends to breathe water.
When the flood tide subsides, Icarax is gone and the Toa Nuva, somehow, survive.

I agree that Tahu should win. The Toa were all rather impressive, more so than I remember from Zuko, but it’s been a while since I watched ATLA.
I think Tahu is too durable and fast for Zuko. Then there’s the fact he can tank/absorb whatever Zuko throws at him.

If reboot Tahu was used, it’d be a stomp in the other direction. It really pisses me off how nerfed the Toa are.
