   Anime space craft battle tend to be a mix of
   OMG such strategy+A fuckload of ships+lasers that somehow destroy multiple ships without even hitting near them
   Plus or minus a stupid amount of missile spamming.
   Is Galactic heroes any different?

   mass effect gets stomped the moment LotGH finds out about the mass relays and starts destroying them.

   mass effect can be defeated by any other universe that does not share this unfortunate FTL hindrance.

   an example could be that say:
   a Spelljammer faction invaded. they may have wooden ships, catapults and ballistae (that can have some pretty OP bolts put in them, try typing engineers shouldn’t play d&d) but they could easily reduce mass effect down to single systems as long as they have batter FTL.

   Depends on if they have the firepower to do that.
   There is also the possibility of the reaper rebuilding or building more. Plus the ability to move them around.
   How fast is Galactic galaxies ftl?
