Wrath of Lord Beerus

Wrath of Lord Beerus

Suggested by Sauroposeidon

Beerus the Destroyer of Worlds (DBZ) goes on rampage!

These are the planets he’s going to go after, each world is only given 30 minutes prep time.. can any of these worlds, with their combined forces, friend and foe alike, stop him?

Earth – Robotech

Planet 9 – Knights of Sidonia

Earth – Star Trek

Coruscant – Star Wars

Holy Terra – Warhammer 40,000

Balmar – Super Robot Wars

Earth One – DC Comics

How far he can go?

    “There is a difference between messing with someone’s brain to control them, and the brute force removal of their entire brain’s function. GEoM has also shown the capability to destroy souls from existence.”

    This sounds like we’re trying to work with AAA batteries when the instructions clearly say AA.

    He doesn’t destroy souls. He destroys warp footprints. Everything hinges on the warp in 40k. I don’t see how anything not connected to the warp would be effected. He’s better off trying some other psyker shenanigans.

    “I do not ignore anything, if I ignored it I would not go on to debunk what they call a debunk!”

    I am again convinced that you are a poe.

    He does in fact destroy souls. He did it to horus so the chaos gods could not reincarnate him. Lesser psykers in the Thousand Sons pre heresy were capable of destroying souls back in time, and removing memory of that person from existence too.

    @Lowk

    “So what you are saying is that we should stick to whats shown? ”

    Well we cannot say he can move faster can we. If him “trying” in a battle no less against his strongest opponent known only has him fight at 100 m/s.

  4. pimpmage August 1, 2015 at 12:20 pm -      #204

    If he were to appear mid way into the solar system, moving at 100m/s would take years to reach any planet.

  5. Kitten Lord August 1, 2015 at 12:26 pm -      #205

    @Pimp

    “If he were to appear mid way into the solar system, moving at 100m/s would take years to reach any planet.”

    When he is not fighting all out, he seems to move at a faster Mach 2. Like when they are flying up into the Clouds.

    Also your suggestion is only if he tries to travel physically. He relies on Whis for most of his celestial travelling exploits.

  6. pimpmage August 1, 2015 at 12:29 pm -      #206

    So whis is his main form of transport that isn’t in this match. I didn’t see op mention where he actually starts the match.

  7. Kitten Lord August 1, 2015 at 12:49 pm -      #207

    I think the problem is the OP omitting where Beerus begins could give Beerus the undue advantages. I mean if he appears randomly on the planet somewhere it woudl be hard to find him, let alone kill him before he blows up the planet assuming he goes for it right off the bat.

  8. Friendlysociopath August 1, 2015 at 1:01 pm -      #208

    I like how Kitten maintains Beerus can only go 100 m/s as a maximum when in the same exact battle he later says Beerus is going Mach 2 when fighting Goku.
    That’s not conflicting information at all.

    Bills relies on Whis because he’s lazy and because Whis is like his guardian. DBSuper gave him several FTL feats on his own power without Whis.

  9. Kitten Lord August 1, 2015 at 1:08 pm -      #209

    @Friendly

    “That’s not conflicting information at all.”

    When flying through the air and up to the clouds he can go faster sure.

    “Bills relies on Whis because he’s lazy and because Whis is like his guardian. DBSuper gave him several FTL feats on his own power without Whis.”

    Friendly likes to continue to pretend that this is proven and is a fact, even though nothing concrete is given in those scenes making anything but conjecture inconclusive.

  10. Xornell August 1, 2015 at 1:50 pm -      #210

    “So terra fends off beerus, and possibly coruscant?”

    Lol. No. Terra has shit that’s stopping Beerus, and current Coruscant has the same.

    “There is a difference between messing with someone’s brain to control them, and the brute force removal of their entire brain’s function. ”

    DBZ characters have lolno’d magic mind enslavement because of their power levels. Not to mention this is an alien god, not a psyker human. If you can’t figure out that the minds of those two things work very differently I don’t know what to tell you. If the GEOM could do this to a permanent extent, it’s unlikely it’d work on Beerus.

    “GEoM has also shown the capability to destroy souls from existence.”

    > Implying this happened when he was a corpse.

    “He does in fact destroy souls. He did it to horus so the chaos gods could not reincarnate him. ”

    Just removed him from the Warp.

    God Emperor is not stopping him. Again, if we take YOUR interpretation of the quote YOU provided, the Emperor’s best feat is small scale time fuckery, coupled with the temporary mental manipulation of a human with psychic abilities mere feet away from him. He’s not stopping an alien god from tossing a planetbuster at Terra from orbit. Nothing Terra has in the way of conventional defenses is stopping this, either. Even if every weapon from every ship in the Imperium could target him, and accurately fire their weapons at him, and all hit him at once, I have doubts they’d be able to kill Beerus. Though we haven’t seen it in the anime or anything, he should be capable of tanking planet-destroying attacks. He clears with no resistance until DC Earth, and he probably still comes out on top there.

  11. Kitten Lord August 1, 2015 at 1:57 pm -      #211

    @Xornell

    “hough we haven’t seen it in the anime or anything, he should be capable of tanking planet-destroying attacks”

    We actually do see his durability;

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtMLYJVof_E&t=7m50s

    A kick from Vegita made him bleed.

    So any weapon should pierce him. But your other points are valid. “in orbit” and “accurately” could be an issue.

  12. pimpmage August 1, 2015 at 2:26 pm -      #212

    So let’s vote on how far bills starts from the planet? The half hour prep could be his travel time to the planet.

    And xornell, unless you start adding proof to those positive claims, you are ignored.

  13. Nobunaga Jin August 1, 2015 at 2:35 pm -      #213

    Here’s another durability feat!

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_yyfdvvS8c

    I guess that means Vegeta can kick through planets now, seeing as his kick can Make Beerus bleed, but bashing into several planets in the matter of seconds won’t leave a bruise on the purple cat.

  14. Kitten Lord August 1, 2015 at 2:38 pm -      #214

    Their not planets. Their tiny planetoids around his home.

    We can see the force of Vegeta’s blows in that they do not even throw the cat through the air. So its not with enough force to launch Beerus away, and we know Beerus can be thrown away by blows because Vegeta follows up with another blow later that launches him across the ground.

    Also I never found going through planets that impressive anyway. Their not as “hard”as some fictional materials. Hell the natural makup of earth is not as hard as some human synthesized objects like carbon nanotubes.

  15. Nobunaga Jin August 1, 2015 at 3:17 pm -      #215

    @kitten lord still, he bashed through them with enough force to go through each one of them, and none of them left a mark.

    We can see the force of Vegeta’s blows in that they do not even throw the cat through the air. So its not with enough force to launch Beerus away, and we know Beerus can be thrown away by blows because Vegeta follows up with another blow later that launches him across the ground.
    /
    Yes, it’s not as if the force of the attacks can be pushed back by a similar amount of force…

    The reason I brought it up in the first place was for durability. I can punch a wall with a lot of force, however, since my body can’t take the same amount of force itself, I’ll end up with an injured hand. Now, in the video, Beerus is bashing through several planetoids within a VERY small amouny of time, meaning that his body isn’t given enough time to rest before bashing into the next one. When he was stopped, he had no marks on his body indicating that he had just physically destroyed several planetoids. This means that one can assume that Beerus can take a lot more punishment than the force he used on those planetoids.

  16. Tarbel August 4, 2015 at 11:36 am -      #216

    Hey Kitten Lord, everyone here is delusional and interprets DB based on author’s intent rather than word of god. There’s just no debating anything with these darn DB fans, too stubborn to change their views. Maybe, you shouldn’t try.

  17. pimpmage August 9, 2015 at 10:02 pm -      #217

    So how does this match end? If one planet wins, does team 2 win? Or does team 1 win by majority destroyed?

  18. Nobunaga Jin August 9, 2015 at 10:18 pm -      #218

    “Team 2” isn’t a team. Otherwise, they’d all be crossing dimensions and working together to plan out some sort of defensive strategy against Beerus…actually that sounds awessome.

  19. Friendlysociopath August 9, 2015 at 10:18 pm -      #219

    So how does this match end?

    Sounds like more of a contest, instead of a match per say.
    “Can he eat all 7 pies?”
    You wouldn’t decree the last pie a winner if he drops on the 6th one instead of the 7th- 7th pie did nothing. Likewise you wouldn’t call the 1st pie a winner since he ate that one.

  20. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2015 at 10:19 pm -      #220

    There are no teams. It’s a gauntlet. He either survives it or he doesn’t.

  21. pimpmage August 9, 2015 at 10:31 pm -      #221

    I was thinking of Mario Party rules, 1v3 style. As long as 1 person from the team of 3 survives, their side wins. If its a gauntlet, does that mean they are fought in order? If someone is put to a gauntlet, and doesn’t succeed, he fails to win the match imo.

    Oh, and are forces completely limited to the planet? What about the solar system the planet exists in? Might still count as local forces for the planet?

  22. Sauroposeidon August 9, 2015 at 10:36 pm -      #222

    Yes, he either lives, or he fails and dies.

    In BankGambling gauntlets the gauntlet can neither “win” or “lose”

    Although we usually set them up in such a fashion that the gauntlet runner simply dies and we find out how long it takes before they do.

    In this case, Beerus might be able to make it out a live.

    Might.

    Probably not.

  23. Nsl98 October 15, 2015 at 10:40 am -      #223

    So Post Crisis Supes is currently alive and well on New 52 Earth. He goes around behind the scenes and tries to stop his old villains before they form and help out around the world. He was also going to stop Darkseid’s invasion until the N52 JL stepped in.

    I think he could take Beerus.

  24. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets October 15, 2015 at 12:19 pm -      #224

    @Nsl He’s also weaker than be was, to the point where he was struggling to stop a spaceship from crash landing.

  25. Nsl98 October 15, 2015 at 5:48 pm -      #225

    And? The only thing that was confirmed to be nerfed in issue 1 was his strength.

    -Nothing in there suggests he lost his nanosecond RT
    -Nothing suggests he lost his massively FTL speed
    -Nothing even hinted at the loss of his durability.

    The only thing shown was his apparent lack of strength:
    1.bp.blogspot.com/–krCqsmpFLI/Vh4bQfezjhI/AAAAAAARPjI/wz21vlO2IdM/s1600/11_19.jpg

    He should still be able to fly circles around Beerus with his speed. And ramming in to someone enough at many times lightspeed is bound to hurt them eventually.

    Although I have no doubt that in further issues more of his depowerization will continue (seriously, what’s with Supermen getting nerfed lately?)

  26. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 6:06 pm -      #226

    “seriously, what’s with Supermen getting nerfed lately?”

    Well there is the whole thing of many complaining he was to op.
    Also in this case, probably to take away dome of the questions like why he didn’t do such and such if he is so powerful like with Blue Marvel.

  27. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 6:23 pm -      #227

    Yeah thing is Blue Marvel’s getting a new push since he’s on a team comic now.

    I think its more they didn’t realize how Mjolnir worked and thought Thor was nerfed so they decided to nerf Superman too. And saw that Cap was out of the picture due to losing the SS so took Batman out of the picture by having him lose his martial arts and all memories period. Only instead of say….giving the Batsuit to…I don’t know Tim Drake they gave it to Gordon…which is like Agent Coulson getting the Captain America mantle.

  28. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets October 15, 2015 at 6:53 pm -      #228

    “And? The only thing that was confirmed to be nerfed in issue 1 was his strength.”

    Not true, they said he was having power fluctuations, not just strength fluctuations.

    Even in that scan you posted he says he wasn’t what he once was. And it’s like you said, the further we get into the series, the more we’ll probably see him being depowered.

  29. Nsl98 October 15, 2015 at 7:10 pm -      #229

    @Lowk
    Well there is the whole thing of many complaining he was to op.

    But why do the editors listen to this one thing and not other things the fans want? *coughpeterXMJcough*

    @Jake
    which is like Agent Coulson getting the Captain America mantle.

    I actually wouldn’t be surprised.

    @CH1
    Even in that scan you posted he says he wasn’t what he once was. And it’s like you said, the further we get into the series, the more we’ll probably see him being depowered.

    I guess I’m just not used to DB actually able to beat Supes. Still focused on the old status quo I suppose. I’m sorry.

    But pre power fluctuation Post Crisis Supes would definitely whoop Beerus. Alas, such is not the case for him currently.

  30. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets October 15, 2015 at 7:28 pm -      #230

    “I guess I’m just not used to DB actually able to beat Supes. Still focused on the old status quo I suppose. I’m sorry.”

    It’s fine. I just think we should wait to see how much his powers have fluctuated before we can say it goes either way. For all we know he’s only thousands of times FTL and not millions anymore. He could still be able to kick his ass, or maybe Bills might be able to pull out a win. We should just wait till this series progresses before we say anything definitive.

  31. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 8:07 pm -      #231

    “Yeah thing is Blue Marvel’s getting a new push since he’s on a team comic now.”

    Yeah but story wise, an pre-n52 superman not helping in a greater capacity reflects fairly poorly on his character. If he can’t because his powers are acting up he has an excuse.
    ===
    “giving the Batsuit to…I don’t know Tim Drake they gave it to Gordon”

    Funny thing is, Tim gets both the Batman Beyond title AND the Batmech suit.
    www.comicbookresources.com/imgsrv/preview/0/0/1/BMB-5-3-ac97a.jpg
    I’m fairly certain if they had Tim become the next current batman everybody would be complaining its just copying or re-hashing Dick becoming Batman. At least this way it’s with a twist.

  32. Jake_Uzumaki October 15, 2015 at 8:22 pm -      #232

    The thing is though Cap did pass the mantle to one of his sidekicks which sort of is a rehash of the Bucky storyline..people were just too busy complaining about Falcon being black.

    That said I forgot about Tim Beyond. Still don’t get that choice but whatever.
    And seriously hope the batmech gets wrecked in that story.

  33. hellboy147 October 15, 2015 at 8:23 pm -      #233

    “He should still be able to fly circles around Beerus with his speed. And ramming in to someone enough at many times lightspeed is bound to hurt them eventually.”
    _
    Bills can contain and nullify a blast that was about to turn the universe into a vacuum 100% . Can superman do that?
    _
    “flying around at high speed and destroying planets around his temple in the process.”
    _
    Just because his food was Spicy
    _
    “able to go from his temple to another planet located in another star system or galaxy in less than two minutes, making him able to cross great distances within space without Whis’ help.”

  34. Ninja Lowk October 15, 2015 at 10:24 pm -      #234

    “Bills can contain and nullify a blast that was about to turn the universe into a vacuum 100% .”

    Which would matter against someone who slings around ki or some kind of equivalent. So like everything shonen jump. Take that Bleach, Naruto, and that show Bleach sort of copied the premise of.
