Here is a match in which I think Master Chief would never be in danger of losing.
Say what you want about Riddick, I just don’t see how MC would stumble in any way that would allow for him to lose.

no, I mean the rocket would shoot riddnicks head off, and keep going and would expolide some where in the distance.

It depends on the situation. Riddick, I would say, is superior in Hand to Hand combat. MC, obviously, is superior in gun fighting.
Furthermore, Riddick can see in the dark, MC needs a light (unless he has night vision. Haven’t played much Halo, so I’m not sure.)
Thus, I feel that in a ranged combat, Riddick would be outmatched and would be killed. However, in a close quarters fight, I feel Riddick would have the advantage. Still, I would have to say that most situations, unless in the dark, or in extremely close quarters, MC would win.
However, if Riddick were to find MC in a cave somewhere…… Well, that’d be pretty cool, because then, MC would have to use his light, while Riddick would have the uncanny ability to see everything in his surroundings. Riddick would, however, have to get through the shields that MC uses, which would be a challenge for a guy using, well, knives…….. All the same, I’d say it’d end up being a solid match, given the right situations were present.
this is silly. Mc wins, even in his sleep. riddick is total crap because he doesnt have superhuman strength, agility or speed. MC is highly trained in millitery combat ie. engaging way to many foes at once and living. Riddick is just some dude with goofy eyes. here’s how the fight would go according to me. MC, who moves faster than we mere mortals can see, would simply run up to riddick, rip off his googles, shine his light in his face and then step back to watch riddick squirm. i would. then, with no warning what-so-ever, MC would simply punch riddicks over-hyped head clean off his shoulders. oh, and fyi, MC shields are kinetic, meaning they only stop “things” that are moving at high rates of speed, ie. bullets, maybe a even a dirty look or two. Riddick, even in his dreams, couldnt swing his shivs that fast. I do have all three movies so i am aware of him beating the necromongers(really stupid name btw) he had help with fight, not good help, but help none the less. The only reason he won that fight is because he thought one move ahead, anybody can do that.

just to help riddick out id like to point a few things out one remember inside riddick he carries some kind of power that knocked a whole group of soldiers on there asses and made them all dissoriented also there was a moment were riddick had time freeze they never really explained that power anyway also riddick is a lone warrior no back up no friends or past of being a simple boy he killed all other boys when he was smaller and his homeworld was wiped out by the main bad guy in riddick riddick doesnt have any fancy armor or fancy weapons all he has are his natural abilities no one made him all super soldier he did that on his own so when ya think about it mastercheif was trained riddick trained himself so hmm ya never know maybe riddick would win
You have to remember though, not only is riddick awesome at hand to hand combat but he uses his resources. Many times has Riddick used other animals, and enemy soldiers to kill the person he wants dead or to just use as a distraction to escape. In the end, no one would lose, no one would win, oddly, it would end in a tie…
yeah riddick lost. i whatched all three movies. yes Riddick is awsome, freaking sweet. but there is no way he can win. riddick wont have other people to ‘use’ its just him vs MC.
without armor riddick wins, he doe use guns, if u paid attention in the fight scene w/ the necros, or the games, he just prefers knifes, so he could still win
