   Uh, to elaborate, “No outside forces” means no cops show up to arrest Maka+ Soul as they’re fighting Edward.

   But seriously, this is 2v1.

   More like 1.5v1, Soul can’t do jack on his own and Maka requires Soul + Soul Resonance to use most of her techniques.

   Wouldn’t it just be easier to say Soul can’t leave weapon form?

   I doubt he would, he’s never really decided jumping out and fighting alongside Maka as a person was a great move. But if you want that to be a rule fine, Soul can’t go to human form.

   Then maka has wolverine like regen powers. In the manga, its described as having every ounce of your blood turn to a steel like hardness that can close wounds.

   The main manga ended. But there is another manga/anime that hit a sort of HxH hiatus. Its a prequel to the main manga. Its more of a slice of life/comedy style. Not combat. Called Soul Eater: Not!

   knew about Soul Eater: Not! but wasn’t sure about the main series.

   The black blood and Soul being…nonstandard materials might probably screw over Ed since I don’t think the make up of either is something Ed would know, though I could be wrong in assuming that the Black Blood is that different then again it is trippy synthetic quasi magical eldritch blood stuff….ah elemental compatibility raising all kinds of confusing questions that the writers never thought would be asked.
   And I’m not even going to try and argue what the hell Soul’s weapon form would be made of…
   Still I doubt Ed is going to get it right on his first attempt to transmute the black blood dress (who would assume an armored dress is made of synthetic quasi magical eldritch blood stuff) or Soul’s weapon form….and I don’t know if he’ll get the second shot at it.

   Ah what the hell, we’ll throw Alphonse in as well since Maka does have two minds. Let’s double the Alchemy and double the fun.

   I’ve always wondered about that, just from a theoretical standpoint anyways.
   –
   Remember that Edward has shown he’s perfectly fine with using other techniques, that includes Greed’s Ultimate Shield.
