Round 1:

3 way battle royale in the city of Shanghi none of the Sith lords have any knowledge of the other.

Round 2:

All have 9,999,999 credits with them. They must use diplomacy, cunning, and strategy to manipulate the factions of Mass Effect into siding with them. Can order hits against their rival Sith lords but cannot fight each other directly. Starting year: 2182.

Round 3:

    Battle 1 probably goes in favor of Nihilus. Though the other two could probably control him if they knew he was just a Force Wound, they don’t and would probably be drained down. If not I’ll say Vitiate due to hella mindrape. Sidious was stated to be the most powerful Sith Lord but I think feats are with Vitiate.

    Round 2 goes to Palps. Actually the only Sith Lord to completely conquer the Galaxy, or at least the first. Being a cunning little shit is half of Palpatine’s skillset anyway.

    Round 3 goes to whoever could manipulate Nihilus more. So probably Vitiate again? I fanboy Vitiate hard, bros.

    Round 1: Nihilus drains te crap out of ’em.

    Round 2: Palpatine Roflstomp.

    Round 3: Again, Nihilus drains

    Good to see you posting again Xornell 😀👍

    actually vitiate manipulated mandalorian wars, and the Jedi civil war and more even than that so he did a shit ton of stuff that would have won him the Galaxy had it not been for 1 or 2 really good Jedi.

    For rounds 1 and 3 I’d have to go with Nihilus. The only reason he was even stopped was because the only force wound bigger than him happened to be there to bitch slap him.

    Agreed messmaker.

    “Starting year: 2182.”

    Good. They get out their stuff stated before Shepard can sweet talk the galaxy into submission.

    And Palpatine has a name you guys. It’s Sheev. Doesn’t the name just fill you with fear.

    Hey I apologize gents that may seem abit off topic (Will get to my two cents in a moment) But do any of you play SWTOR?

    Also yeah Round 1: Nihilus eats them both for breakfast

    Round 2: Vitiate might actually have a chance at this. Seeing as how he could possibly hijack Saren’s operations on Virmire and gain the Krogan breeding facilities there. (That is if Palpatine doesn’t beat him to the prize) That and since he starts on Noveria and is savvy enough he could possibly happen upon the Rachhni Queen and enthrall her to his servitude (Via Sith Alchemy) Which could lead to a possible Racchni War if given some prep time. I’d say this round is the most interesting in my opinion.

    Round 3: Nihilus laughs at the two Sith Emperors and devours them effortlessly.

    @LimboLowk

    You serious? I’m shaking in fear.

    Also isn’t it like one year before shepard gets going on his heartwarming adventures in the pokemo- wait..sorry folks wrong franchise xD. Seriously though my first question stands.

  8. Rookie June 22, 2015 at 4:00 am -      #8

    @Monochrome

    “Rachhni Queen”

    How could he possibly find out about her?

    “But do any of you play SWTOR?”

    I wanted to at first, but then I found that this is MMO, unlike first two games, so I skipped this game.
    So I just wathced a bit of story on youtube.

    @Limbo Lowk

    “Good.”

    Why? What so special about this year?

    The reason I don’t think Nihilus will be a big a threat for round 3 is Krei said he barely had a will of his own and was more or less acting on primal instinct to feed. To me, this means he’d be about as hard to control as an animal, and his two opponents are arguably the best mind-rapists in the series. For round 1 he might be able to feed on them before they take him over or otherwise kill him, but for round 3 they’ll make it a priority.

    “Hey I apologize gents that may seem abit off topic (Will get to my two cents in a moment) But do any of you play SWTOR?”

    I do on and off. In fact, we had a game night where a dozen or so of us played Sweater together on Skype lol. Anyway, I’ve got a bunch of characters on Jedi Covenant.

  11. Ordo11 June 22, 2015 at 11:03 am -      #11

    I play off and on and read some of the lore, I see Vitiate doing crazy ass manipulation shit, and also nihilism just feeds. There is very few ways to control him other than promise him more and better food. He ain’t finding much better than Sidious and Vitiate.

  12. Xornell June 22, 2015 at 12:45 pm -      #12

    “I play off and on and read some of the lore”

    Swag. The stories are actually pretty interesting. Wish they’d add new classes, though. The same 4 are getting pretty stale and we’re almost 3 expansions in.

    “I see Vitiate doing crazy ass manipulation shit,”

    Yeah. Probably one of the best, if not the best, mindrape Sith ever. Also ate a few planets.

    “also nihilism just feeds. There is very few ways to control him other than promise him more and better food.”

    That’s kind of my thinking, though. All he wants to do is feed to the point where he doesn’t really have his own will anymore. He’s a Force Wound ripe for manipulation by someone with a dominating will and a large Force presence.

    “He ain’t finding much better than Sidious and Vitiate.”

    Has Nihilus actually ever drained someone with as much Force presence as Sidious or Vitiate, though? Other Jedi and Sith have faced him with varying degrees of success, right?

  13. Messmaker June 22, 2015 at 1:12 pm -      #13

    Well, nihilus drained an entire planet of force sensitives and the entire Jedi council, so I’m pretty sure he can handle vitiate.

  14. Ordo11 June 22, 2015 at 1:29 pm -      #14

    Yeah nihilous has drained very powerful enemies and the only reason you kill him is he is very very Hungry and has next to no energy in the tank so really since I am guessing they are talking full power, or at least the most he has had.

    He drains your life passively just by being there.

    Vitiate doesn’t need to impart his soul to mind control you and is really damn good at sith alchemy.

  15. Xornell June 22, 2015 at 4:48 pm -      #15

    “Well, nihilus drained an entire planet of force sensitives and the entire Jedi council”

    I was aware of the planet, but when did he drain a Jedi council?

    “so I’m pretty sure he can handle vitiate.”

    Vitiate also did this. Twice. Very powerful Sith lords and Jedi were on both planets. Also unlike Nihilus he didn’t just feed, but actively got stronger from the Force power he absorbed.

    “Yeah nihilous has drained very powerful enemies”

    Not on the scale of Sidious or Vitiate, though.

    “the only reason you kill him is he is very very Hungry and has next to no energy in the tank so really since I am guessing they are talking full power, or at least the most he has had.”

    The reason he dies is he tried to feed on someone who was linked to him in through the Force who was also cut off from the Force. Essentially he negative feedback looped himself to death.

    “He drains your life passively just by being there.”

    This is true but it takes exposure to really affect regular people and I’m assuming does almost nothing to Force users.

    “Vitiate doesn’t need to impart his soul to mind control you and is really damn good at sith alchemy.”

    I don’t even think he uses the Force. I think mindrape via eye contact is just a passive ability of his. He’s done it to many top tier Jedi and Sith, which is why I think he’d very easily take over Nihilus.

  16. Ordo11 June 22, 2015 at 5:25 pm -      #16

    The planet one is the same as him eating the Jedi council.

    We’re did you find the energy feedback part, because if that is true he is now unkillable in a sense, thanks (sarcasm) I really wanted him to be unstoppable unless you have a link to him.

  17. Monochrome June 22, 2015 at 8:54 pm -      #17

    @Xornell

    Ah cool I’ve mostly focused on one character on Jung Ma though I intend to switch over to the Ebon Hawk server seeing as how everyone on J-Ma is RP’ing as badasses of every color in the rainbow.

    @Rookie

    I’m certain that Vitiate can screw with enough minds of the people on Noveria he can get information about Saren’s base of operations and gain control of it.

    Also here’s a Vitiate Respect Thread (Read the thread myself and it looks solid)

  18. batman3.14 June 22, 2015 at 9:02 pm -      #18

    Guys, Nihilus can’t do anything to these guys. Both palpatine and vitiate have shown to be able to resist draining ( I can’t find the scan at this time but I will continue looking) and palpatine as well has been shown to drain an entire planet. Nihilus’ lightsaber skills aren’t as good as palpatines and his force powers not as powerful as Vitiate.

    Now that Nihilus is out of the way, the main battle is Palpatine vs Vitiate. Obviously, Palpatine’s lightsaber skills are better than Vitiates, but what about force powers? IMO, Palpatine has better combat powers while Vitiate has better overall abilities. Vitiate can convince and control people better than Palpatine, but few can even try to imitate Palpatine’s force storm. While I believe Vitiate would be a “better” sith emperor, I think Palpatine would win in a straight up battle.

  19. Monochrome June 22, 2015 at 10:37 pm -      #19

    @batman3.14

    If I had to pick an emperor it’d have to be palpatine. For one reason only. He’s not trying to attempt a galaxy-scale sith ritual to drain all life of the galaxy and become a god.

  20. Xornell June 23, 2015 at 1:28 am -      #20

    “The planet one is the same as him eating the Jedi council.”

    There was a Jedi council on that planet? I don’t think I knew that.

    “We’re did you find the energy feedback part, because if that is true he is now unkillable in a sense, thanks (sarcasm) I really wanted him to be unstoppable unless you have a link to him.”

    It’s how he was defeated. Meetra Surik was severed from the Force. But she had also been linked to Nihilus through the Force. When he attempted to feed on her, he wound up feeding on himself and this weakened him enough for him to be killed.

    Palpatine probably would be the safer choice in combat. Offensively, he’s done some pretty impressive things. But mindrape via eye-contact, though…

    Think Palps would make a better Emperor too, though.

  21. Ordo11 June 23, 2015 at 10:41 am -      #21

    Well, now apparently nihilous is basically unkillable now. That’s fun.

    Nihilous doesn’t do sneaky very well so 2 is a toss up, but I think vitiate would win.

  22. Shadow-Knight June 23, 2015 at 11:26 am -      #22

    I don’t know much about Vitiate. (Don’t play ToR) but Palpatine Manipulated the events of an entire galaxy for years. Moving Jedi around like pawns for his end game…..their extermination.

  23. Ordo11 June 23, 2015 at 11:34 am -      #23

    Vitiate did the same thing, except with stronger Jedi over the course of thousands of years leading up to a perfectly executed invasion, the only reason he didn’t attack earlier was because of Revan affecting his subconscious.

  24. batman3.14 June 23, 2015 at 11:36 am -      #24

    The planet Nihilus consumed was a planet full of force sensitives beings. I don’t think there is any evidence for a permanent jedi council there, but there was a jedi meeting there at the time of Nihilus’ devastation of the planet. I believe he also drained the jedi council on dantooine, but I don’t think he drained the entire planet.

    EDIT: Maybe it was Traya who drained the jedi council on Dantooine, not sure…

  25. Messmaker June 23, 2015 at 11:39 am -      #25

    “I don’t think there is any evidence for a permanent jedi council there,”

    there wasn’t. It was an emergency meeting of the Senior Jedi Council, according to Atris, in KOTOR II

  26. Shadow-Knight June 23, 2015 at 12:11 pm -      #26

    The Council on Dantooine (90% of them anyway)were on the ones on that planet.

  27. batman3.14 June 23, 2015 at 1:44 pm -      #27

    @monochrome

    Sorry for the misunderstanding, I didn’t mean I would rather have Vitiate as an emperor, I was trying to say that he would be more powerful emperor (with people around him, not in the combat sense) than Palpatine. For example in the Rise of the Emperor story in TOR, he controls a bunch of people by taking over their will. As far as I know, Palpatine doesn’t have a feat as grandiose as that in that area of the force.

  28. Gman July 6, 2015 at 4:21 pm -      #28

    Wasn’t Sidius the most powerful Sith who ever lived?

    1st round probably should go to Sidius
    2nd round would be between Sidius and Vitiate but I think the former will win
    3rd battle I will side with Sidius

    Idk very much about Nihilus except for some of his feats like draining life force.

  29. Monochrome October 28, 2015 at 12:28 am -      #29

    Apologies for this extreme Necroing but a new feat for Darth Vitiate (Sith Emperor) came up and I saw it for myself finally after completing that planet. So here’s a planet-scale life wiping in about…a couple seconds youtu.be/2ovjnTCk_vs No rituals seeing as he has no base of operations, he can possess a person even when his ‘main’ body is destroyed, and even possess Jedi Masters, also he created these badboys youtu.be/cqjsgIXBSV8?t=511 as a disembodied spirit
