    Some feats for Saber, Archer and Berserker:

  2. Friendlysociopath May 27, 2015 at 12:24 am -      #2

    Initial bets of the Fate/Stay people; Archer can snipe people rather easily from extreme range- his arrows are faster than normal arrows are they not?

    This is the first match where I recognize absolutely 0 characters. Well played.

    Here’s hoping we’re talking F/Z Berserker and we’re not talking EoS Lord Vile in here.

    Are the Multi-Vitamins allowed at this rate?
    Otherwise someone’s gonna have to fetch a Micro-phone and tell the opposition to go kill each other and get it over with.

    If the following weapon is there, best solution I got so far:

    Take the Godkiller Sword and take out whatever’s left of the opposition with it.

    Is everyone on Side C at their strongest incarnations possible for that matter?

    Since the Deadmen are below the standards of Veteran Dot Hack Champions in general, they likely won’t last very long, I might be underestimating them for all I’d recall though.

    Now there’s a thought, Turn Azula and/or Lord Vile against their comrades and while they’re distracted, see where The Godkiller Sword is at.

    Isn’t Lancer’s Gae Bolg uber hax?
    Like, “It stabbed you because you were already stabbed through the heart and so you were stabbed in the heart” headache-inducing paradox hax?

    If he gets within 10 meters of you then you’re already dead. And that’s not even me being cute- it’s literally how the damn thing works.

    This is the first match where I recognize absolutely 0 characters.

    Really? I would’ve thought you’d have at least heard of Aang and Korra; and there’s no way you haven’t heard of Percy given his relatively recent spree of matches.

  6. pimpmage May 27, 2015 at 1:37 am -      #6

    Well I know the names from the show. I should have said something along the lines of,”Hey look, nobody I care about.” But that sounded a bit harsh. Usually with these matches, there is at least 1 person I latch onto and provide info for. But alas.

    Little summery of the Numbers. They all have Telekinesis multi ton range.
    Superhumans stats
    Strength also the tons range
    Speed(around 60-70 mph running/Stopping bullets level reflex/RT)
    Durability(can take hits from each other)
    Senses(hearing & sight) can mix with tk for a sort of radar.
    ===
    On the specifics of each

    Number 4 can create, toss, and is immune to heat and fire. Talk to animals. Heal others.

    -Number 5’s body can replicate whatever material he touchs. He can turn to rubber or metal depending on what he has touch. Do any of these characters have any invulnerable items?
    Unlike the Garde who can levitate using TK, Five can actually fly at super speed.

    Number 6 can control the elements, sorta like team benders without the earthbending. She can manipulate water, control and make fire hotter, manipulate the whether(Moving clouds, make it rain, create fog, control wind, call down and direct pinpoint lightning strikes, etc stuff with that.
    She can also turn invisible both to sight and technological means of detection.

    Number 7 can breath underwater(and swims very well), can heal others, has nightvision, and possess some pretty decent cyrokinesis(messing with temperature/creating ice constructs).

    Number 8 is basically like NightCrawler plus Mystique. He can shapeshift and teleport and skate on water.

    Number 9 is nomrally Stronger, faster, and hears better then normal Garde(numbers) enhancements. He has legitimate super-speed, appearing as a blur even to the Garde who are capable of reacting to bullets from a short distance.
    Can manipulate his own gravity essentially giving him the ability to walk pretty much anywhere. Floor, ceiling, up the sides of skyscrapers doesn’t really matter.
    He can also speak to animals and transfer his and other’s power to people through touch.

    Number Ten has telepathy and can disable others powers.

    Some of the equipment
    -Stone that acts a pseudo blackhole and iirc spit things back out. Nine controls it’s movements.
    -A bracelet that turns into a shield. Reacts to bullets/danger.
    -Xitharis that lets them lend there powers to each -other for a few minutes.
    -A duplicator that leaves holographic copies.
    -Healing stone.
    -A crystal that create gale force winds in an area.
    -Dagger that is strong enough to cut through other swords.
    -Staff with rotating blades
    -Xray stone
    -Spike ball that explodes and shoot out said spikes.
    -Dark Gloves used to create a sonicboom.
    -Tree branch that controls trees

    Forgot Six can extend her invisibility to people touching her.

    Chain of Heavens [Armament]
    A Noble Phantasm that Gilgamesh preferred. Its true name is Enkidu.
    This was the chain that bound the Bull of Heaven that caused Uruk seven years of famine. To Gilgamesh, it was a Noble Phantasm that he trusted like Ea, no, it was a Noble Phantasm that he trusted more than Ea.
    Its ability is “to rule the Gods”.
    Its toughness increased with the target’s Divinity.
    It was one of the few Noble Phantasms that could be classified as Anti-God.
    As a result, Chains of Heavens was actually a more troublesome Noble Phantasm for Berserker than Excalibur.
    On the other hand, for Saber, Assassin, and Archer, who had no Divinity, it was merely a strong chain.

    =
    So Gilgamesh’s enkidu is specifically meant to bind beings with divinity…. which all of team 3 is.
    ….Yeah.

  10. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 2:49 am -      #10

    So it’s looking like it’s going to be the Servants game to win. Like why is Gil here that isn’t even fair.

  11. Commander Cross May 27, 2015 at 2:55 am -      #11

    @The King of Games at #10

    Your Majesty, I report that while you went missing, Naruto vs Yusuke has become a thing.

    That Chain going that far would have been aimed at Ishtar/Inanna if Gil ever got half a chance.
    I’m still waiting for some Specified versions and incarnations for some of the Servants listed up, Fate/Zero Berserker is gonna be a PAIN to deal with.
    Did Gil had the chains with him during Fate/Zero for that matter?

    @Wingedlion at #9

    Part-Divinity, actually, and if anyone wants to go there it’ll also affect Aang and Korra as well.
    If those Chains are in play, wonder how they’ll phase the Loriens then.

    Clearly Group 3 is gonna have to go Gear up For War, are Styx-enhancements and the Nemean Lion Armor allowed?

  12. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 2:59 am -      #12

    @CC
    “Part-Divinity, actually”

    Nope. It’s divinity period. Gilgamesh just never faced gods in Fate/Stay Night.
    Nowhere is it stated that it’s only part-divinity.

  13. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 2:59 am -      #13

    He had the chains but only uses them on the divine so he had no need for them till Rider. Also I think unless stated otherwise it’s the standard Staynight Servants.

  14. Commander Cross May 27, 2015 at 3:06 am -      #14

    @Wingedlion at #12

    I meant that Group C is Part-Divinity themselves, Not the limits on the Chains themselves.
    I know the Chains themselves can affect up to and including Pure Divinity.
    What I’d wonder is whether or not they’d work up to ‘certain’ Grand Princes of Hell such as Asmodeus if Asmodeus can be hit with the Chains first.

    But I digress, that kind of thing’s a matter for another time.

    No I have no clue where Lord Vile fits in other than some kind of Dark Messiah Figure associated with ‘Freelance’ Dark Lords.
    The Presence of China Sorrows isn’t anything to take lightly, though in Gil’s case, something about China might remind him of the presence of Ishtar/Inanna, so that might help Gil in some way or another against China.
    Which is sort-of funny since I have no personal beef against Ishtar/Inanna, yet I find the consequences if Gil gets strongly reminded of her by China to be interesting.

    I know that Aang and Korra may have Divine-type Connections, but not too sure how the chains may affect them beyond the fact.

    @Your Majesty at #13

    So Gil won’t use the Chains if he don’t need to do so, interesting.
    I still await for further confirming regarding incarnations, gear and all that jazz on all sides before we go further, last thing I’d want in mind is risking sabotaging this matter if it might get good otherwise.

  15. Limbo Lowk May 27, 2015 at 3:13 am -      #15

    So just Berserkers wiki. 12 times to kill him for good and he become immune each time to what killed him. Thats some Doomsday level bullshit.
    Nine has a portable bfr device would that count a taking him out of the fight?

    ” it’s literally how the damn thing works.”

    Oh wait, no, the series is just one of those types of crazyness. Ok now it makes sense.
    ===
    I think team Garde(team numbers) could take team benders.
    Team Demigods would mostly likely be a bit harder since I’m pretty sure they are a lot tougher going by Percy.
    Not sure about sorcerers or Deadmen.
    Just looking at two things for Fate team makes me think they’d stomp team numbers.

  16. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 3:15 am -      #16

    I mean tragically Gil solos or the combined team work of the other Servants win this for team 1. Unless I missed something on team 5 because I have no idea who any of those people are.

  17. Limbo Lowk May 27, 2015 at 3:43 am -      #17

    “I mean tragically Gil solos or the combined team work of the other Servants win this for team 1.”

    I’d like to know what the sorceres are capable of but yeah I think thier Hax might be a little much for 2 maybe three of the teams.

    “Part-Divinity, actually, and if anyone wants to go there it’ll also affect Aang and Korra as well.
    If those Chains are in play, wonder how they’ll phase the Loriens then.”

    I thought Raava was just a spirit. A very powerful spirit but a spirit none the less.
    And Loriens are divine. Some aspect border on mystical but they are divine. There more akin to x-men except instead of a gene they are enhanced by space magic.

    The incarnations of Fate/Stay is the Unlimited Blade Works series

    For those that aren’t familiar with Deadman Wonderland:

    Wretched Egg- one of the main villains and arguably the strongest Deadman. Like all of them, she manipulates blood as a weapon, but she also has wolverine-like regen, and her power caused the great Tokyo earthquake, which registered an 11.8 and sank 70% of Tokyo. She can fly, has supersonic reactions and attacks, and can slice through steel with her blood.

    Ganta – the main protagonist. Mostly a regular human before undergoing training to beat Wretched Egg. His ability is the Ganta gun, a bullet of blood he shoots from his hand. He has a supersonic ganta gun which is actually supersonic and can be fired like a machine gun. His Ganbare Ganta gun is faster, but explodes like C-4 on contact.

    Kiyomasa Senji- trained Ganta. He has superhuman speed and he creates blades with his blood and is able to attack at the speed of sound. Can slice through solid steel doors.

    Toto Sakigami – The main villain. Has instant regen but can’t regrow lost limbs, must re-attach. His ability allows him to copy the abilities of other Deadmen by tasting their blood or eating their flesh. He can maintain multiple stolen abilities, but cannot evolve them like other Deadmen.

    Minatsuki Takami – her blood takes the form of powerful whips that she can manipulate to gain spikes. She was able to one-shot a Deadman clone with one.

    Nagi Kengamine – leader of the rebel group scar chain. Has superhuman strength, showing the ability to rip bodies apart and crushed a skull with one hand. His ability is releasing floating spheres of blood that can be remotely detonated and are like miniature bombs.

    Karako Koshio – skilled martial artist can use blood as body armor to enhance her strength and durability. Can also seal wounds and use blood to re-attach severed limbs.

    *Initial bets of the Fate/Stay people; Archer can snipe people rather easily from extreme range- his arrows are faster than normal arrows are they not?*
    —–
    he can snipe from about 4km away by F/HA feat. The arrow he used was fast enough to cross that distance in less than a second and has the ability to continuously track down the target as long as he can keep sight of the victim. It’s force was enough that the air it stirred up rattle a large hanging bridge connecting two halves of a city and the penetrating power was enough to drill through four fortress wall stacked together and only miss a human-size target slightly. He was able to fire 5 such arrows.

    His straight up power-type arrow with no tracking capability twist the space around its path and can tear thing to shred even when missing. This one is apparently costly for him though.

    Normal no-effect arrows were said to be like machine gun in firing rate and capable of mowing down building.

    When pitted against this thing typemoon.wikia.com/wiki/Fragarach
    Gaebolg got a double K.O instead of getting nulled by the time reversal.
    Reverting time cannot override its effect.
    That’s how bullshit it is.

    *Oh wait, no, the series is just one of those types of crazyness. Ok now it makes sense.*

    It’s actually a rather good setting with good fights, since the haxx stuffs are always kept in check by something else.

    The problem is the stuffs that kept those haxx in check are not provided in other settings. For example, ability rank and Luck stat (which is different from plot/armor/coupon/conventional Luck).
    =====
    Can anyone provide info on Sorcerer team? I have like zero knowledge on any of them

  26. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 1:06 pm -      #26

    @Freindlysociopath
    “What does that mean? Are there things they don’t get in the anime incarnations?”

    Some of the servants are weaker by virtue of them changing stuff in the anime. For example, in the fight between Saber and Berserker, Berserker should not have even gotten hit and was supposed to completely dust Saber, and even if Saber got a hit on him (which she didn’t) Godhand would completely protect him from her attacks. Saber did outwit Berserker by drawing him in the graveyard and was using it to her advantage; however, she was still incapable of actually hurting him (not that she knew that) and did not get a hit on him. Despite this, in the anime Saber wounded Berserker multiple times as if God Hand wasn’t even there.
    There’s a few other examples, that’s just the most famous one i can recall.

  27. Riverlia May 27, 2015 at 1:15 pm -      #27

    @wingedlion:
    She was only WTFpwn in Fate route since she did not have field advantage.
    Saber did hit Berserker in their UBW battle and it was described as fairly even from an outside POV. The problem is none of those hits did any damage. She did realized this too, as Saber, Rin and Shirou discussed the issue later, which lead to some damage rank explanation.

  28. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 1:21 pm -      #28

    @Riverlia
    Yeah i know. I edited that into my post (though not the part where she got a hit on him; i forgot that part). Still, the fact still remains that she didn’t do any damage to him. The anime messed up on that regard.

  29. sadot06 May 27, 2015 at 1:35 pm -      #29

    Lord Vile is a sentient suit of armor made entirely of shadows. Skullduggery Pleasant, a talking Skeleton sorcerer is inside. Lord Vile has super strength, can fly, and manipulate shadows as weapons and to teleport. He also can steal soul’s to make himself stronger. Some feats:
    “Vile opened both hands, pulling shadows from the mouth of the cave. They curled and thrashed behind him, then rose in a giant wave that rolled towards her. Darquesse fell to one knee under the onslaught. It was a test. He was testing her, seeing how strong she was. When the wave was gone, she lunged. He ducked under the punch and grabbed her low, lifting her off her feet, taking her to the grass. His fists came down, battering her face. She tried to wrap her legs around his waist but his armor expanded , keeping her from locking her ankles together. HIs fists were hammers, driving her down into the ground, the earth giving way beneath her. An extraordinary sensation.”
    “His left hand grabbed her wrist, squeezed it so tightly her bones broke”.

    “Headlights swept in and she turned. A taxi slowed to a stop, and the driver got out. He looked t her, looked at Vile, looked at the churned up road. He didn’t ask any question he just stood there like he was waiting for an explanation. She didn’t like that. She didn’t like him. She stepped forward to tear him in two and then Vile grabbed her jacket from behind lifted her off her feet and slammed her through feet and slammed her through the bonnet of the car.
    Her face crunched into the the engine block, and he hauled her out before she even knew what was happening, and hurled her through the window of a Burger King. She hit a table and flipped sideways to the floor, coming to a stop in the dark as an alarm started up, so loud it pierced the world. She got to her hands and knees, spitting blood, and the shadows snaked out, seized her wrists, and she flew back out through the broken window, hitting the ruined taxi, denting the passenger side door. Above the alarm, she heard the driver screaming as he ran away, and then Vile reached down, closed his fingers around her throat.
    He held her off the ground with his left hand and hit her with his right. His fist was a block of stone, showing her explosions of light every time it connected. She need to stop him before he punched her brain out through her skull. She’d done that once. It was funnier when it happened to other people.”

    Death bubble:
    “Lord Vile had turned his full attention to Sean. He was using a trick that was affectionately known as the death bubble. She watched it expand t envelop the boy, and the life energy around his body dimmed immediately, losing its color, fading into grey. His face meanwhile, went white, eyes wide and mouth slack.
    Darquesse watched it all unfold, waiting for Vile to draw the bubble back into himself, taking Sean’s life with it. The force field couldn’t do anything against an attack like this. This was magic, not instinct, and none of these children knew the first thing about magic. They’d been presented with a gift, and then just figured out the best ways to hurt people. They were clumsy, awkward creatures with no understanding of the gifts at their fingertips. A stream of energy hit Vile and he stumbled. The death bubble collapsed and Sean dropped to his knees, sucking in lungfuls of air.”
    This is the only instance of Vile using the death bubble, but I could post feats of a significantly less powerful character using it.
    BTW the death bubble is actually completely invisible. Darquesse could see it in the quote because she can “see” magical energy.

  30. sadot06 May 27, 2015 at 1:35 pm -      #30

    More feats:
    “The air was split by a scream.
    ‘Vile!’ someone shouted. “It’s Lord Vile”
    Suddenly everyone was panicking. Ghastly grabbed Valkyrie’s arm, dragged her after him. She glimpsed a dark figure striding between the cells, and all those people trying to get away.
    Darkness swarmed his to armour, filling the space behind him. Tendrils lashed out, as fast as striking cobras, impaling those who tried to run. The dead and the dying were lifted off their feet and paraded ahead of Vile as he walked, their tortured cries adding to the panic of those still with a chance of escape.
    ‘Keep him back!” Ghastly roared, and immediately five sorer ors barged past Valkyrie, on an intercept course. Elementals and Adepts, they hurled whatever they had at him. Most of their attacks struck the helpless bodies of Vile’s victims and the attacks that got by were instantly swarmed by shadows”
    .
    .
    .
    “Shadows reared up behind the five sorcerers who faced Vile, and they turned, tried fending them off, but the shadows swayed and feinted, waiting for the silent command to strike. And then they struck, slicing through the sorcerers ad picking their bodies up off the rough ground to join the grisly parade, and still Vile walked.”
    .
    .
    .
    “Valkyrie heard a shout from somewhere to her left, turned her head in time to see Lord Vile step out of the swirling darkness.
    The people closest to him cried put and stumbled back. He brought his arm around, darkness gathering like a wing beneath it, and flung the shadows away from him. They whipped through the crowd, severing limbs and puncturing torsos, felling half a dozen fighters in one go before retracting.
    Ghastly had changed course, forgetting about the man in rags and instead zeroing in on Vile. He used the air to leap over the heads of the panicking crowd, landing in a crouch before his enemy. He clicked his fingers, summoning flames into both hands.
    He lunged and Vile sent his shadow-kinves to slice his body from shoulder to hip. Valkyrie gasped as Ghastly parted from himself and fell in two pieces.”
    Also I get the feeling the shadows that Nicodemus use are of a different nature than Vile’s. Aren’t Nic’s shadows Anduriel himself? Vile pulls shadows from his own armor or his environment. Also, bullet, snowballs, and icicles don’t stand a chance of even denting Vile’s armor

    Question: Is there a reason why you wanted the anime incarnations of the servants instead of the VN incarnations?

  32. Aelfinn May 27, 2015 at 1:38 pm -      #32

    I watched the original Fate/Stay Night anime and some of the Deadman Wonderland, so I know of…some capabilities.

    Anyway, doesn’t Minatsuki Takami have lightspeed attacks? It’s mentioned super casually, but she kills some dudes and mentions her whips going the speed of light.

    If only youtube wasn’t filled with AMV’s…

    Speak of sniping
    i480.photobucket.com/albums/rr164/Riverl/Fate%20Stay%20Night/19-F08-07b-19_zpstikstswy.jpg

    Excalibur is also an excellent sniping weapon.
    It has frigging 1-99 range.
    Its sister sword, which has a 20-40 range attack, is capable of reaching 13 kilometers according to canon material.

    Excalibur might take out the fortress around the target too, but personally, I think that’s a small detail.

    Oh, and it’s light, according to canon material. So light speed, probably.

    “Excalibur converts the mana of the wielder into light, and as the sword is swung, the light is released from the tip of the blade like a laser beam and destroys everything in its path”
    Fate complete material III

    Six severing limbs
    The clouds roar when Number Six stands, and an enormous bolt of lightning crashes into one of the pikens, cutting off it’s arm. It bellows and falls to it’s knees, but quickly regains its balance and charges ahead with blood spurting from its side.

    Number Six has killed the other other piken. She turns towards us now and holds both hands up to the sky. A lightning blot severs the monster’s head from it’s body.
    Power of Six, chap 32
    ===
    Six drops a stormsplosion. Winds to strong for a guy who can lift a truck. Explodes and destroys some trees from a far away.
    “Through squinted eyes I look into the clouds-heavy, dark, ominous-swirling in small concentric circles and, in the center, the center I’m trying mightily to reach, a face begins to form.
    It’s an old, weathered face, bearded, tranquil looking as though it sleeps. A face that looks older than Earth itself. The clouds begin to lower, slowly nearing the surface and consuming everything, everything darkening, a dark so deep an impenetrable that it’s hard to imagine that somewhere, anywhere, a sun still exists. Another roar of anger and doom. I try to stand but am quickly knocked back down, the wind too great, the face. It’s coming alive. An awakening. The eyes opening, the face upturned into a grimace. Is this Six’s creation? The face becomes the look of rage itself, a look of revenge. Coming down fast. Everything seems to hang in the balance. And then the mouth opens, hungry, its lips curling to show teeth and its eyes squinted in what can only be described as pure malice. A complete and utter wrath.

    And the face touches down a sonic blast shakes the ground, an explosion reaching out over the school, everything illuminated in red, orange, and yellow. I’m thrust backwards. Trees break in half. the ground rumbles. I land with a thud, branches and mud falling atop me. My ears ring as they’re never rung before. A boom so loud that it must have been heard fifty miles away.”

    “Question: Is there a reason why you wanted the anime incarnations of the servants instead of the VN incarnations?”

    Saber alone could probably win if it was VN, I don’t recall people in this list having a combat speed multiple times the speed of sound.
    Not to mention Exaliblast and Avalon, the blast against Caster’s sea demon, depending how you read it, was vaporisation at low end, atomization for high end.
    That was calced and was put in multi megaton range.

    Did Rider even have feats in UBW? Could have sworn she died off screen before doing anything.

  37. Friendlysociopath May 27, 2015 at 3:53 pm -      #37

    Somehow I don’t think the Demigods are going to last very long; they might be able to take on the Avatar Team but I’m pretty sure everyone else here outclasses them in both speed, hax, and destructive power.

    So Gilglamesh just presents an endless rain of weapons to hit his enemies with; Archer can shoot from a few kilometers away, Saber still has her excalibur that pretty much wrecks a city block plus her good combat speed. Lancer still has his Gae Bolg so he’ll oneshot anyone he can get close to. Berserker just refuses to die.
    And they all fight at speeds people can’t follow.
    That’s what I’m understanding for the Servant team.

  38. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 3:58 pm -      #38

    @Numinous One
    “combat speed multiple times the speed of sound.”

    Multiple times? Like how much? I knew they were supersonic but i only found them to be mach 2.5.

    “Not to mention Exaliblast and Avalon, the blast against Caster’s sea demon, depending how you read it, was vaporisation at low end, atomization for high end.
    That was calced and was put in multi megaton range.”

    If your talking about what i think you are, I asked Tarbel to see if there were any problems with that calc. There wasn’t enough evidence to say for sure that the creature was atomized, and the remaining values we had got lower as a result of a few corrections. While it’s power it’s still in the megatons, the low end is close to 2 while the high end is a little more than 3.

    In any case, i’m only concerned because there weaker as a result and i don’t know how the anime versions would stack up to the other teams (i think i heard something about some of the deadman characters being supersonic.)

  39. sadot06 May 27, 2015 at 5:06 pm -      #39

    “Question: Is there a reason why you wanted the anime incarnations of the servants instead of the VN incarnations?”

    I’m more familiar with the anime and heard there was some OPness in the VN

    “Anyway, doesn’t Minatsuki Takami have lightspeed attacks? It’s mentioned super casually, but she kills some dudes and mentions her whips going the speed of light.”

    I’ve read the manga and seen the anime, I don’t recall her ever being faster than Senji who caps out at speed of sound. Def not in the anime but I can double check the manga.

    “What kind of durability does it have?”

    Tanks blows from Darquesse who can casually kick trucks away and crush skulls. While they were fighting they flew high up into the air and crashed into the street leaving a large crater and the armor wasn’t even scratched. Tanks power magic. It’s really hard to damage due to its nature and power.

  40. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 5:16 pm -      #40

    Limiting this to the anime only hurts Rider. Everyone else is pretty much unaffected.

    It messes up God Hand as well.

  42. sadot06 May 27, 2015 at 6:16 pm -      #42

    @Aelfinn

    In her fight with Ganta her whips were just described as “faster than the eye can see” by the announcer. Might be close to Senji’s attack.

  43. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 6:28 pm -      #43

    @wingedlion
    I mean it still takes an A-Rank attack to kill him. It’s just something if strong enough can hurt him. Which he then gains resistance to. I mean at the end of the day God Hand works well enough that most if not all of the people on the other teams can’t kill him.

  44. Aelfinn May 27, 2015 at 6:30 pm -      #44

    “In her fight with Ganta her whips were just described as “faster than the eye can see” by the announcer. Might be close to Senji’s attack.”

    Maybe I’m mis-remembering, or maybe it’s a translation error, but I seem to recall it happening during the big prison escape.

  45. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 6:32 pm -      #45

    “I mean it still takes an A-Rank attack to kill him.”

    Right, but Saber does not have A-ranked strength. So she shouldn’t have been able to hurt him at all. Which would mean that the defense of god hand is much weaker than in the novel.

  46. Aelfinn May 27, 2015 at 6:39 pm -      #46

    I just re-watched the part where I thought it happened. The subbed version of the anime definitely doesn’t have her say it, so it is probably a mistranslation.

  47. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 6:43 pm -      #47

    @wingedlion
    Yeah but getting hurt for Herk isn’t really a big deal at all because it won’t kill and then he’s immune to it. Is kind of lame he can’t just takn everything? yeah. does it matter if he can’t be killed anyway? No. besides B Strength+ Barrier of the Wind King must be enough now for no good reason.

    It’s not just that though. Saber for example was able to tear apart warehouses and streets with Diarmuid but she has nothing like that in the anime. And i’m not sure if what they have in the anime can compare to some of the teams mentioned here.

    “besides B Strength+ Barrier of the Wind King must be enough now for no good reason.”

    Well right, which is why i’m saying the anime messed up on that, since that’s not supposed to happen.

  49. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 7:07 pm -      #49

    @wingedlion
    Brah did we watch the same fight?

    The peeling sheet iron on the outer walls of the warehouses was ripped away by the wind from Irisviel’s side as if it was a piece of coiled tin foil. She could not comprehend how the iron can be torn away. Perhaps it was Saber’s sword or Lancer’s spear that brushed against its adjacent hollow space. Apart from that, she could not come up with any other explanation.
    The warehouses get beat up just as bad as they did in the novel.

  50. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 7:13 pm -      #50

    @TKOG
    I should have specified more clearly. I meant storehouses.
    =
    Of course, even for a test, it’s Servants we are talking about. The avenue was a miserable wreck from the scars carved in as a result. Two storehouses had already collapsed, and a hundred square meters of asphalt were torn up. Turned into a battlefield, it was almost as if an earthquake has just came and gone.
    =
    I don’t recall that happening in the anime.

  57. FlameStrike May 27, 2015 at 7:46 pm -      #57

    I’m putting my vote for team Servants. They all have pretty good feats an hax to go with them. For example, Gae Bolg’s “reversal of causality” effect where it changes reality from “He stabs you, and a wound is made” to “You’re wounded, so he stabbed you”. Basically when he uses it, your heart gets reality warped to be pierced.

    Then Beserker and his 12 lives lol. He gains immunity to anything that kills him too. So he’ll never die the same way twice. Also he regenerates a lost life every 3 days or so. In a battle of attrition, Berserker is practically unbeatable.

  58. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 7:52 pm -      #58

    @TKOG
    But the things that saber and lancer were destroying in the anime were storage crates, not storehouses.

  59. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 7:55 pm -      #59

    Which could just be a translation thing. I mean the only storagehouses if any are too far to actually be damaged by anything even by Servant standards.
    Edit: I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if storage crate and storage house are the same word in Japanese or it was just called storage.

  64. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 8:05 pm -      #64

    He had a conceptuel shield to stop the thrown version from wrecking him. There is nothing in his arsenal to stop the melee strike from piercing his heart. Like unless anyone on the other teams have the ability to alter fate at will they’re going to get stabbed in the heart end of story.

  65. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 8:07 pm -      #65

    @wingedlion
    Because the only thing that fits the exact description for a storehouse that you’re looking for is all the way in the back too far away to actually be damaged.

  66. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 8:12 pm -      #66

    @tkog
    The west bank of the seaside park is prolonged by a row of boring storehouses. The block, which contains harbor facilities, also plays the role of a wall that separates the eastern industrial area from Shinto. At night, the pedestrian traffic ceases, and the street lights shine uselessly on the asphalt, but it makes the scenery even more empty. Unmanned derrick cranes were turned toward the dark sea, like an eerie flock of huge fossilized dinosaurs.
    Indeed, this is a suitable place for Servants who must confront hidden from public view.
    Saber and Irisviel walked up, magnificent as duellists going to the place of agreement, on the four lane road for the large vehicles that are meant to drive on it. The enemy as well was already showing himself, without running or hiding. The tall shadow standing in the middle of the empty street emits an extraordinary amount of prana even more outrageous than his odd outfit, clearly showing that he was much more than human.

    The storehouses were near Saber and Lancer, so i doubt that.

    Well it’s useless against Lord Vile. Even if he could pierce his armor, Skulldugery doesn’t have a heart. Also Wretched Egg and Toto would just regen.

  68. The King of Games May 27, 2015 at 8:24 pm -      #68

    @wingedlion
    It’s like you litterally forgot we’re arguing about the video and not the novel. I know what it says in the novel I’m talking about the video. Which means one of two things. UFO changed it to storages crates or the Japanese word for storage crates and storagehouses are the same the translater decided to use which ever one they wanted. I mean either way the scene is pretty much same as it was in the novel.
    @sadot06
    The thrown version doesn’t go for the heart it just carpet bombs to wipe out an army. Considering the shield Archer used was basically as tough as a fortress unless this Vile is super tough that is going to hurt.

  69. wingedlion May 27, 2015 at 8:30 pm -      #69

    “It’s like you litterally forgot we’re arguing about the video and not the novel.”

    No?
    My point was that they were destroying storehouses in the novel. The fact that they don’t do that in the anime shows that the fight between them was not the same and that things were changed.

    “Also Wretched Egg and Toto would just regen.”

    Gae Bolg actually negates regen, so that wouldn’t work.

    I know what you said. But my point had nothing to do with whether they were in the anime or not. In fact my point was that such a thing did not happen in the anime, which is what you were arguing against. That’s what i was trying to say the entire time.

  72. Commander Cross May 27, 2015 at 8:48 pm -      #72

    Sadot should have answered regards on whether or not the Styx Enhancements and maybe The Nemean Lion Armor are allowed.
    Concussion’s gonna be a beyotch to put up with, but the amped stats and defenses would allow something to be done against the Caster here.

    Also correct me if I’m wrong, but couldn’t some of the opposition see if they can’t take the Godkiller Sword and go kill F/SN Berserker with it that way?

    If the Gae Bolg’s avatar in here can also negate Regen, I don’t wanna be whoever gets hit with the Godkiller Sword in here since that Sword can do the same thing on top of likely being Indestructible in Canon.

    Wonder how the Gae Bolg will affect the Loriens above 4 if it hits any of the others, moot point if Gilgamesh busts out the Chains which can affect full-blown Divinity in there and have a chance to Phase the Princes of Hell if it could hit any.(Asmodeus be wary!)

    Because if the Loriens get hit with the Chains and they get more easily phased, game over unless Gilgamesh can be slain in time by someone else.

  73. Abominatus674 May 27, 2015 at 9:16 pm -      #73

    I’ma try and go into a bit more specifics about what each servant can do.

    Saber/Arturia:
    Ridiculous physical stats, can use pure mana to boost these physical attacks (prana burst – I think this may have been why she was able to pierce God Hand, but I can’t remember specifically)
    Instinct: essentially combat precog, she can anticipate attacks and automatically move to avoid/block them
    Magic resistance: A rank, which means immunity to almost all magic. Doesn’t reject the effects of magic, but actually cancels them completely
    Invisible sword, which makes it difficult to actually fight her in cc
    Excaliblast: massive beam of light, takes some time to prepare/charge up. Takes up a huge amount of energy.
    MAYBE Avalon: regeneration from pretty much anything, can temporarily phase shift to become entirely immune to anything

    Archer/Gilgamesh:
    Gate of Babylon: used to summon a pretty much endless rain of legendary weapons, which are fired as projectiles. Also includes pretty much anything else he wants, including defensive gear
    Chains of Heaven: extremely strong binding chain, gains strength and binding power depending on how divine the target it
    Sword of Rupture, Ea: ultimate uberhax blast. Pretty much unlimited destructive power. Technically classed as anti-world, pretty much destroyed a reality marble (demiplane of sorts) in seconds.

    Archer/EMIYA:
    Unlimited Blade Works: able to replicate any weapon he sees. Apparently has several dozen to hundred of these which he can choose from. More powerful weapons take more power. Can reshape them into ‘arrow’ forms to be fired from a bow, and can overcharge them so that they explode on impact. Also some non-weapon projections such as a shield which conceptually stops thrown weapons.
    Can manifest his internal world as a reality marble. In it, the energy cost to trace weapons is significantly less, and he can probably choose to bring anyone within a radius into it, based on F/Z.
    Has a fighting style designed to take on people significantly stronger than him by leaving openings and anticipating attacks at them. Has pinpoint vision at multiple kilometres. Generally fights with two Chinese swords which are attracted towards each other, even when thrown. Often one is thrown and used to surprise opponents when it returns.

    Lancer/Cu Chulainn:
    Extremely fast close combatant. May be able to augment himself with runes (can’t remember if canon). Has ‘Battle Continuation’, so he can keep fighting until completely killed
    Gae Bolg: conceptual spear which, when activated, has stabbed the heart of the target. Actually stabbing or throwing it doesn’t influence this effect. Only weird things like Archer/Emiya’s conceptual shield and Saber’s luck+instinct/precog can actually prevent it from being an instagib, and even then damage is often significant.
    Can use runes for other purposes such as tracking or creating fire

    Berserker/Hercules
    God Hand: nullifies damage caused by attacks below A rank. If he is killed, he is resurrected up to a maximum of 12 times. If he is harmed by an attack, whether or not it kills him, he gains extreme resistance to any further attacks of the same type
    Ridiculous physical stats, such that just the shockwave from swinging his axe-sword can cause notable damage.
    Battle continuation, allowing him to keep fighting until fully killed. And then regenerate, and keep fighting until killed again another 12 or so times.

    Rider/Medusa:
    Extremely fast melee combatant. Not sure whether her other noble phantasms are included, since they aren’t really shown in the anime. Anyway, they are:
    Bellerophon: a bridle and whip used to control magical beasts, typically her summoned Pegasus. The Pegasus has flight and significant speed and power (can charge between 4-500km/hr, appearing as a white comet)
    Cybele/Mystic eyes of petrification: affects all targets within field of vision, regardless of whether they look at them. Those with mana of C rank or lower immediately petrified, while those with higher have all stats weakened.

    Caster/Medea
    Extremely powerful magic of various kinds. This includes blasts, illusions, flight and physical enhancement of self/others to superhuman levels. Within a ‘temple’ which she has created, there are very few limits to what she can do. Freezing time in a limited space and teleportation have been shown.

    Servants are a bit difficult to compare to other systems because they actually have a quantifiable ranking system. Also, the conceptual effects can be pretty BS, depending on the situation. One question, though, is how these servants are being powered. They may be severely limited without any masters to replenish their prana.

  74. Limbo Lowk May 27, 2015 at 11:32 pm -      #74

    “Yeah pretty much.”

    Well going off the ones I do know I’d rank the Loriens somewhere in the top three.
    Probably either above or below the Sorcerers.

  75. Friendlysociopath May 27, 2015 at 11:55 pm -      #75

    Purely for the sake of argument, who here can the Demigods take?
    I’m damn sure they can’t beat the Servants, and they probably can’t take the Loriens or the Sorcerers either.
    Could they take the Benders?
    That honestly sounds like it ought to be it’s own match because it’s much closer than most of the other teams around here.

  76. Commander Cross May 28, 2015 at 12:08 am -      #76

    @FriendlySociopath at #75

    The Chains are more a threat to the Loriens if it could hit the Loriens first to be honest.
    No one got back to me on the Nemean Lion Armor or the Styx-Enhancements either, and I’d have proposed some of the opposition removing the Godkiller Sword and using it against F/SN Berserker to kill him that way.

    They can take the Deadmen, I question if the Deadmen are anywhere near the professional levels of most of the Dot Hack Combat Veterans among their Champions, most of the Deadmen can burn more easily so hitting them with a Greek Fire Bomb or two could solve a lot of problems, IF the Deadmen can be hit first.
    Bonus points on the fact The Deadmen are not ‘Vanilla’ Mortal Humans then again neither’s the rest of everyone else, more bonus points on me wondering about their Emotional Fortitude.

    No Multi-Vitamins = Not too much breathing room to reach either Caster or a lot of the Skull-headed Sorcerers in time before a lot of the opposition finds out about it.

    Between you and me, I’d have wanted the Dot Hackers or the Infinity 8 to be on the front-lines of a fight like this instead, at least they have a lot of Offensive Reality-Warping to HIT some of the more dangerous groups with and don’t always have to go on hit-and-run as of late.

    I’ve still got no idea why that one matter with Atoli of the Dot Hack universe isn’t posted yet either, don’t ask me about it unless you wanna lend me a hand on it either, okay?

    If only they can just sneak up the Godkiller Sword and HIT F/SN Berserker with it, maybe Gilgamesh too if they could manage it, Saber also has Superhuman Combat Speeds of her own for show with weaponry not that any of the Servants are ‘slow’ about it either.
    Am I likely gonna hope they can at least Nail Caster to the walls?
    Whoever winds up with 3rd or 4th place would have to rely on a lot of luck on their side at this rate because it looks like it may as well be The Sorcerers vs The Servants as it is.

    Having only read F/Z and Steel Earth novels from the Nasuverse consistently, I’m not sure how their power precisely translates, but I do believe they have more than enough to achieve victory here.

    F/Z more or less outright states that Saber’s normal speed is supersonic. To quote:

    Released from the golden sword, a jet of air comes out from behind Saber. By releasing her armor to increase her prana burst further, her body changes into a supersonic bullet.

    “At this point, Saber’s speed is three times higher than normal. It’s already too late for an ambush attack or an evasion the instant she steps forward. Even if Lancer’s spear can deal a serious wound to Saber, he will receive a lethal strike the same instant. That is certainly a strike made to risk one’s life for a certain victory, ready to even have her flesh cut or her bones severed. Breaking through the wall of air at several times the speed of sound, the shockwave of the rush blows the surrounding rubbles like leaves.”

    So, Saber was moving at several times the speed of sound while still being supersonic. “Several” usually means “more than two”, and “supersonic” goes up to five times the speed of sound, so in this case, Saber is moving at somewhere between 2 and 5 times the speed of sound, which is three times her usual speed. So, basically, Saber can not outrun rifle bullets, but she could literally outrun pistol bullets, at least when charging at full speed using her mana burst. This is pretty fast.

    Then again, F/Z tends to show Servants as rather more powerful than F/SN proper usually does, or rather, makes their power more explicit in the narrative. Servant’s speeds and powers are capable of the tier-level of plot, really.

    Generally Servants can fire bolts of energy equal to shots from tank cannons as common attacks and trade blows that can destroy multiple houses. (and rip entire streets apart from sheer atmospheric displacement, to not even mention the bullet-dodging, such as in the battle cited above). They also eat souls and are capable of going ethereal, so you have that as well.

    Err. Supersonic is simply faster than sonic speed, including hypersonic.
    A writer is not guaranteed to use the term hypersonic. Especially when the book was originally written in non English works. For example, I don’t know any equivalent word for hypersonic in my mother language.

    Also, servant was described just as powerful in f/sn, they just happen to have less quantifiable number, but what was given does match up, like archer having special arrow that cross 4km in less than a second (so mach 12_13 or so).
