Bayonetta takes out both of her opponents before they can even draw their weapons.
–
Her time control powers will basically have them standing still while she cuts them apart or blasts them full of holes.
Yea, she’s the only one that can attack from wherever-plus she is a lot more agile so she could evade attacks by darting through buildings or wall-running all while slamming attack after attack into the enemy.
–
Dante or War would have to really lay in the pain in a few seconds before she got warmed up. What really intense one-shot attacks do either of her opponents have?
Yup, Dem time stops. Or super Layered time slows as people like to call them, since some people will go out of their way to break a match.
–
@JerkwithNoName
I seriously recommend banning Bayonetta from layering her time slows or ,if you see fit, ban them all together. That way we might actually have a match.
What do you mean by layering time slows? Was that in Bay 1 because I dont remember, or maybe Bay 2 which I never played?
–
In any case, Bay stomps, I dont think either character can survive. Even time stops aside whats Dante going to do? If this was DMC dante sure but Inferno Dante, cant remember anything special from him. If it was DMC dante maybe, but even then Bay is tough.
–
As for War, he reminds me too much of Kratos, big slow, has some magical powers and what not but essentially not enough hax.
“What do you mean by layering time slows?”
–
It’s often argued that Bayonetta can not actually stop time, she can only slow it down by a certain degree, but she CAN layer multiple time slows on top of each other to make time move so slowly it may as well not be moving at all.
–
I don’t personally believe that I have ever seen a source for that, but I assume its out there somewhere.

There’s a cutscene where Bayonetta is talking to that chick who’s name i can’t remember.
Time was already slowed.
Once the enemies started coming, they slowed it down further.

This is a cut scene in Bayonetta 1? If so, great! any excuse to replay Bayonetta.
IF Bayonetta 2, AAAAWWWWWW, BUT THE ENEMIES ARE SOOOOOOO SPONGYYYYYYY
This is a stomp.
Bayo is a bullet dodging gun tootin witch.
War and Dante don’t have the durability against bullets, but at least War has something resembling a gun.
Dante is the underdog here.
He’s physically slower and weaker than the combatants here. He does have awesome holy powers though.

Yep, its from Bayo1. Its in the first level too. After the fight in the graveyard, there is that cutscene where Enzo and Bayo are in the car. A plane comes crashing through. Bayo goes into Witch Time and jumps on the plane. While on the plane Jeane shows up and another layer of Witch Time appears while they are talking. Once gameplay happens (still on the plane) the tutorial for Witch Time is given… so right from the 3rd cutscene in the game it is shown that there can be two or three layers of Witch Time active (depending on how you want to interpret the events). Later, in a boss fight with… Tempentia (I think?), … The boss fight where Bayo is surfing on the water… You can activate Witch Time as normally, but once the cutscene ends it is shown that the entire boss fight occurs in the timespan that it takes for Luka to grapple up to a helicopter (he is zipping up to it with Cereaza before the start of the boss fight. Once he gets inside the boss is already dead and Bayo is waiting for him).
–
Witch Time is stupidly fast however you want to interpret it.
–
And Bayo 2 enemies are great sponges… All the better to beat on them and rack up them combos! Unfortunately I kinda suck at them because I’m so use to the combos from Bayo1, and I refuse to use Sheruba in Bayo2 because I used it all the time in Bayo 1.
–
Bayo 2 doesn’t have as good Witch Time feats in cutscene.
bayonetta feats in the second game are mostly strength based. but when she fights the lumen sage she does have some good reaction time feats.
bayonetta has already beaten dante and these two are both weaker than him right?
Am i the only person on the planet that thought Bayonetta 2 was bad… as a Bayonetta game. If the first one didn’t exist to compare it too i would probably love it but *sigh* it was such a disappointment to me….
