Team 1: Sarah Kerrigan (StarCraft), Gremmy Thoumeaux (Bleach), Dark Samus, Ridley (Metroid) Sephiroth and Kuja (Final Fantasy).
Team 2: Itachi Uchiha, Archimonde (Warcraft), Exterminator First Class (Blame!), Dracula (Castlevania), Mecha Gyaos (Gamera) and Nyarlathotep (Persona).
Gremmy Thoumeaux, Kuja, Nyarlathotep (Persona), Mecha Gyaos and Exterminator First Class make their first appearance today.
Contest is very simply. Five rounds total. Team who will win most of them will win.
First round: Gremmy Thoumeaux will go up against Itachi Uchiha. Itachi alive and healed back to his prime.
Second round: Sarah Kerrigan (at her strongest) will go up against Archimonde.
Third round: Dark Samus will go up against Exterminator First Class.
Fourth round: Ridley (in his most powerful form) will go up against Mecha Gyaos
Last round: Sephiroth (composite) and Kuja (composite) against Dracula (composite) and Nyarlathotep.
Who will win?
Nyarlathotep could solo the other team easily.
About mecha gyaos (from 3:02):
–
About Nyarlathotep:
–
He have ability to make rumors a reality (useless here IMO).
–
When Nyarlathotep was using Hitler’s body he used Spear of Destiny, weapon which can stop enemies regeneration or healing. For example when one of the main heroes (Maya) was wounded by this weapon not even healing spells could save her and once team went back in time and prevented this by creating alternative timeline Maya could still feel pain from the wound, despite the fact that she was never injured in new timeline.
Some feats for Spear (from 1:00)

Kuja Destroys Terra:
–
Right, does Sephiroth have his black materia? Because even killing him doesn’t stop that so he wins his match by planet-busting even if he dies (particularly since Sephiroth is made of energy so killing his physical body just reduces him to a sort of ghost state.
–
Kuja has Ultima, which he uses to destroy Terra i Rookie’s video. Ultima breaks through all barriers, in FF9 whenever he uses it you automatically lose the battle.
–
Durability feat for Kuja btw
–
And why not, we’ll throw these in here for Sephiroth

“Right, does Sephiroth have his black materia? Because even killing him doesn’t stop that so he wins his match by planet-busting even if he dies”
–
Sure he can have it… but Black Materia just summon a meteor. What stops Nyarlathotep from destroying meteor? Or just shielding himself and Dracula from the shockwave? I mean he did shield entire ship from the shockwave at the same time as he destroyed Earth.
What stops Nyarlathotep from destroying meteor?
–
Darn edit timer, I was typing “Unless they can stop the meteor” and it ran out.
–
Or just shielding himself and Dracula from the shockwave?
–
Could work, but Meteor pierces barriers just like Ultima.

“Could work, but Meteor pierces barriers just like Ultima.”
–
Then Nya can teleport meteor into void dimension like he did here (from 8:20 one guardian dragon did all of this to Earth, watch later Nya shields entire city from all guardian dragons and kill them all by teleporting them and the Earth into his dimension. He uses teleportation fast enough to counter meteor IMO):
–
The thing is, wouldn’t they have to know the Meteor exists? Like, all that they would see Sephy do is raise his hands and mumble something about a meteor.
Jesus, what is this? A 12-man battle? And half the characters are ridiculously obscure? Rookie, buddy, didn’t we talk about making clusterfuck matches?
During the second battle against Dark Samus in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, the scan visor states, “Bioscans suggest that Dark Samus can reform her body short of total atomic disruption.” What is atomic disruption? Well, I’ll look up “disrupt” first from the Oxford English Dictionary.
–
1.1 Drastically alter or destroy the structure of (something)
–
Therefore, concerning atomic disruption, I would understand it as, “Drastically alter or destroy the structure of an atom”. Looking up “atomic disruption”, the first link that appears is a Wikipedia article concerning particle beam weapons.
–
In the final battle against Dark Samus in MP2:E, the Phazon particles absorbed by Samus’ power beam will “overload and disrupt [Dark Samus’] essence”. Anything else in Samus’ arsenal don’t do anything.
–
In Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, once again, “Scans indicate that Hypermode attacks are capable of disrupting her.” So it would appear that Dark Samus’ durability is incredible.
In Persona 2 Innocent Sin, the main characters use the Collective Unconsciouss to create a universe. Half that power is Nyarlathotep’s. And depending on how you interpret it, he destroyed everything in the Innocent Sin universe with the exception of Sumaru City.
–
He annihilates Sephiroth and Kuja by himself.
–
Also, Kuja just wasted the whole surface of Terra in an unknown amount of time. It’s refered to as being destroyed in the “now it is a barren wasteland” way, not in the “he turned it into space rubble” way.
–
He is also far more powerful than any character in this match.
This is pretty much Archimonds only feat aside from Powerscaling:
www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3BxvHhz4XQ
–
Casual city buster. Don’t know if that’s too impressive considering the other people here.
–
In War of the Ancients, it was stated that Archimond has more raw power than Kil’Jaeden (who created the Lich King with a fraction of his power).
–
The Aspects & Dragons weren’t able to stop his invasion either, although they never showed them intervening…
Which is strange since they usually always interfere with Sargerous & Demons. Seems off that they wouldn’t even try to stop Archimond.
Maybe it’s PiS, or maybe they weren’t powerful enough.
–
In Comparison, Sargerous burnt everything in a thousand mile radius simply by having his Avatar exist on the mortal plane.
Somewhat off topic, the Metroid Fusion Web site provided more information about the plasma beam. It states,
–
“The Plasma Beam’s three lasers can easily cut through enemies, continuing on to take out even more foes.”
–
I’ve always been curious about the plasma beam in the 2D Metroid games, since it’s never clear. In Metroid: Other M, the plasma beam produces an electrical discharge when it’s fired. This would technically make the plasma beam an electrolaser, which creates a laser-induced plasma channel. I find this fascinating!
” the plasma beam produces an electrical discharge when it’s fired. This would technically make the plasma beam an electrolaser, which creates a laser-induced plasma channel. I find this fascinating!”
–
So similar to a Lightning discharge? Since that also works off of Plasma Channels.
That would make it 1/3rd the speed of light i reckon.
Every time I think I see a lovecraft name in a match, I am always disappointed. Nyarlathotep had one of the coolest short stories too. All these games that take names from lovecraft but don’t retain any core features is never a good thing.
Why is Drac even here? Doesn’t really matter if it’s the IGA or LoS Dracula. Neither really stand a chance against their opponents outside of soul magic, and the FF characters might just be too fast for either of the Draculas. Nyarlathotep sounds like he’ll solo that round with no problems while Drac sits back. Strange because Dark Samus would have been a more interesting match since Dracula can potentially bypass her defense through soul magic.
Well I believe Itachi wins his match because Gremmy is a bit of an idiot and without prior knowledge will likely kill himself while unknowingly being under genjutsu.

This version of Nyarlathotep is really good, seriously. It’s not quite the Lovecraft version, but he’s got a real eldritch and godly feel around him. The duology he comes from also has some of the best storytelling in the whole franchises, really different from Persona 3 or 4.
–
He’s no Demonbane Nyarlathotep (who would make Lovecraft burst in anger in the afterlife. This version of Nyar would, at least, not do that).
Regarding Meteor, it’s not a planet buster and it takes at least a week to actually hit.
——
Another durability feat that people seem to forget is when Kuja survived the invincible’s blast that destroyed Alexander.
—–

He has the power to create something from someone’s memory as demonstrated when he created the four chaos guardians from the memory of the “main crystal”

Right, specific sniping only, too tired for long posts

Regarding Meteor, it’s not a planet buster and it takes at least a week to actually hit.
–
With it’s counterpart Holy active it takes some time to work- but that’s not here is it? Meteor will be borderline instant like every other spell in FF7.
As for it not being a planetbuster

A meteor that size would destroy the planet, no question.
–
Question, does Nya have any speed feats? And is he defeated by the Persona crew? Because anything Persona users can do, Sephiroth can do faster and better.
–
Oh and forgot this
What stops Nyarlathotep from destroying meteor?
–
Shinra blew it up and it just came back together, not sure how well that applies but thought it worth mentioning.
Feats for Exterminator:
–
About GBE (from artbook):
–
“That is, if the beam hits one certain place, it transforms into an entirely different location where an extreme amount of dark matter suddenly occurs. The thing’s mass increases explosively, a reaction that would cause anything to be destroyed.”
–
Exterminator survives a shot from GBE and although he was badly damaged he still was able to speedblitz Killy and later create a barrier around him:

In VII’s world it wouldn’t plus it would go against his entire plan.

They didn’t blow it up, the missile just blew off pieces.

Nyar was beaten by the strongest Persona protagonists yet, while he was restrained by a bet he had made with Philemon. If he quitted jobbing he would have killed them no question, with all the reality warping he’s shown in the games.

While usually you would be right, this version of Nya come from more or less old game and back then people treat such characters like Nya with respect. Really, you should check Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment someday, it has really good story and not a boring gameplay.

“Question, does Nya have any speed feats? ”

He used teleportation to speedblitz main characters who are at least bullet timers, but he also made clear that he only toying with them, without really trying.

This is a series of 1 v1 ‘s How exactly do any of these characters solo?

Im not particularly fond of this match format tbh…
