King Ghidorah going up against USS Enterprise (Star Trek)
In the depths of space, The NCC-1701 USS Enterprise, Kirk’s Enterprise, the legendary ship, encounters a strange new mineral substance. This mineral, traveling through space at highs speed with out any form of detectable propulsion, is investigated for scientific purposes at Spock’s request.
Even his logical mind could not expect the fantastic occurrence that was to follow.
Upon nearing the space rock for closer study. the thing exploded in to an enormous ball of flame, and from the energies released, the mighty space dragon formed, King Ghidorah!
The creature flew straight at them, and their attempts to communicate it were cut off as it savagely laid in to the ship.
Immediately, the vessel went in to warp to try and dislodge the thing.. but is all hope lost? Can they defeat the daikaiju?
It’s time for you to decide, BankGambling!
Awesome match… I think this battle would go in favor to King Ghidorah. Krik’s enterprise does not have much mobility and is lacking in armor against someone King Ghidorah’s level. Since he starts already lodged on the ship, the enterprise’s only hope is to poke him enough with phasers that he un-latches. I do not see that happening by the time Ghidorah obliterates the ship.
Enterprise probably too fast for Ghidorah. I’s side with the ship for now.
Ghidorah only have three heads,Enterprise have much more heads)
I mean, if Ghidora is already attached to the ship I expect them to die any second now. I’m given to understand having 50,000 tons of pissed dragon on a ship going through warpspace isn’t going to end well for the ship.
well somewhere between twenty and seventy thousand (the lowest and highest weights respectively for Ghidorah) so kinda depends on which Ghidorah for how bad the weight issue is. But if he is on the ship that is a problem for the crew.

Also Original Series Kirk Enterprise or reboot movie Kirk Enterprise it might make a difference but not sure.
I think this would be much fairer if Ghidorah started un-attached but staying in the orbit of a planet.
TOS Enterprise’s top speed is said to be Warp 9.2, which is supposedly 1,649 times the speed of light, or 1.78 trillion KPH. Can anyone figure out what sorta G’s that’d be? Trek has techno-babble for why their fine at such speeds, but could King Ghidorah take the punishment? I mean, he starts attached to the ship and so inside the warp field bubble, but if he were to get detached…

Just a thought.
Well one version did travel the universe in an asteroid but I don’t know if it moved at ftl speeds or not, or if he had to deal with any g’s.
I don’t see how this match isn’t over immediately. Do they have any phaser settings to match Atomic Breathe? Also, I do believe back in Showa Series King Ghidora was flying planet to planet without his asteroid taxi, but I do not know how long it took him.
Now, what’s to stop Monster X from biting and tearing the Enterprise apart? Or to just blast it with his gravity beams?
And double post… Is this the most recent version? Cuz if so they can’t beat Kaiser King Ghidora
I don’t think King Ghidorah would be shaken off that easily, and he has taken punishment from the atomic breath.
However, I think it depends on the yield that this site determined for Star Trek’s phasers.
I dropped out of the argument, so I don’t really know what the settled yield for the phasers are now.

With that being said, nice scenario Sauro.
The Enterprise teleports three 20-petaton bombs into each of Ghidorah’s heads. GG no re.
–
They don’t even need those big guns, though. Just teleport in a bunch of photon torpedoes into the head. That, OR they teleport Ghidorah’s brains OUT of his head.
–
If we don’t want to go that route, and fight normally…Ghidorah’s what? City-level max? The enterprise out-paces that relatively easily.
Is it just me, or have more matches been posted than there should have been recently?

Well… Why would said Dragon survive warp space to begin with?
Has the enterprise ever taken something that large with them into warpspace without it being effected before?
There was a pentuple match post yesterday. Thats probably why.

Yep, around this level.
@Ragnorke
well there was this baby energy draining creature that was a giant space slug thing but I can’t remember if they went into warp and that was the Next Generation Enterprise anyway…

I’m not very experienced with Star Trek- isn’t hyperspace/slipspace/zerospace/whateverspace travel usually a delicate operation?

When I stumbled across the picture I HAD to suggest the match.
This does depend somewhat on the version of Ghidorah used. His power ranges from a casual life wiper to a multi planet and even stat buster. Since the Enterprise is life wiper max, and that’s after exhausting all photon torpedoes and likely over charging the power core, Ghidorah either slightly out guns the Enterprise or drastically outgunns the Enterprise.

Considering he can travel half way across the galaxy in a few day without really trying, I’m gonna say yes. Attempting to use Warp speed to dislodge the three headed menace will result in the Enterprise brealing faster while Ghidorah continues his attack virtually unharmed.
