Hunt the Hunters

Six from Lorien Legacy first appearence for her and franchise, Loki Prime (if Loki and Loki prime are different units, then this is the first time Loki Prime appears here) from Warframe, Hunter from Destiny, Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell

versus

Delta Squad from Star Wars & Fireteam Majestic (first time here) from Halo.

Six, A Tenno, Motoko, and A Hunter Guardian find themselves dropped on an unknown planet. In front of them is a holographic message

Ordis sends a message through the Hunter’s ghost to inform them the regarding their ships location 5 miles away on the site of a forerunner site in the middle of a large forest and repairs will take 2 days. Ships are surrounded by hostile forces against either side(Jul’Mdama’s and Helghast forces).

The hunters either have to wipe out the enemies hunting them and/or get at least 2 surviving members off planet.

Loki: Paris Prime, Hikou Prime, Dragon Nikana, Energy siphon

Hunter: His Ghost, assault rifle, sniper rifle, and a fusion rifle, rocket launcher

Motoko: Seburo Sniper rifle, Seburo C30

They are dropped 1 mile from where the Hunters are and know the direction they were at.

Blue: Choice of UNSC firearms, 1 Pelican, 2 Mongoose, 1 of each type of armor abilities.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the guys from Warframe the ones that can basically nail an Astartes to the wall no sweat?

    Legends or Disney Delta?

  3. Warlock Lowk February 10, 2015 at 2:39 am -      #3

    @Jake
Gonna go Legends since I don’t recall animated versions doing anything.

Delta squad made all of one cameo in TCW.

The addition of Helghans should stir things up a bit. Are they and the Covvies also hostile to each other?

  5. sadot06 February 10, 2015 at 5:56 am -      #5

I only know 6 and the major, but it’s def not her first time on the pile or the first time the Lorien Legacy series was featured. Anywho 6 has superhuman strength and speed, TK, the ability to turn herself and people in physical contact with her invisible, and she can control the weather, in addition to being trained in hand to hand and weapons combat very well.

Forgot to mention the darkness is present so no revives without help for the hunter.

I really don’t see the Hunters getting past this. Combined with air, artillery and vehicle support, as well as Blue team having a Pelican to hunt down the Hunters, there’s a lot to get through even without factoring in the covvies and Delta squad

Delta squad seems sorta out of place here. They aren’t massively superhuman like Spartans, and both the Covenant and Helghans have infantry better then them. The only real advantage they have is the versatility of their guns.

Actually, if the Hunters play it smart with the invisibility they could hijack a tank. That’s the only way I see them getting anywhere close to the evac site.

Or do a Snake and camp inside a cargo truck/crate/cardboard box/barrel.

Should I limit the faction’s presence on the planet? I figured with them warring with each other they wouldn’t be able to completely focused on/stomp the teams but would still present a danger.

Really? Thought Star Wars armor, shields, and weaponry was supposed to be better then Halo. Maybe I’ll make an alternative match on the forums. Any idea’s for another team to replace them?

Er, can we just go with a composite Kusanagi? I think she’s got like 3 or 4 incarnations.

That said, titanium skeleton is very durable, it takes a several ton mech stepping on it no problem.

She’s able to get past a military attack barrier on a tank with hacking skills.

“Er, can we just go with a composite Kusanagi?”

I’m normally not a fan of composites. When I made it I was going off of Arise and SAC versions.

  11. Friendlysociopath February 10, 2015 at 12:15 pm -      #11

I just don’t quite know what feats are transferable for her is all.

So what can Loki Prime do btw?

  12. Neon Lord February 10, 2015 at 5:39 pm -      #12

“Should I limit the faction’s presence on the planet? I figured with them warring with each other they wouldn’t be able to completely focused on/stomp the teams but would still present a danger.”

If either team gets discovered, they will either have to go into deep cover and relocate far away, or face oncoming task forces that are trying to deal with them; seeing as an ‘unknown’ third party would be the subject of some concern for either side’s generals. Both situations would seriously hinder the hunt.

Maybe remove all air power? That would make reconnaissance a lot harder and both teams harder to find.

“Really? Thought Star Wars armor, shields, and weaponry was supposed to be better then Halo. ”

I’m pretty sure infantry shielding, aside from Droidekas, is far worse for SW. Armour is debatable. More firepower only really matters if either side couldn’t penetrate the other’s armour just as easily.

Can Clone armour tank bullets? I’m inclined to think yes, but only to an extent. High powered and/or high-velocity rounds e.g. Verpine Shatter Guns can penetrate commando armour easily.

On a separate note, how durable is a Destiny Guardian? Isn’t hard to judge since all they use are weird energy weapons that are hard to quantify?

  13. Warlock Lowk February 10, 2015 at 5:46 pm -      #13

Okay so ground force only for the obstacle factions. Should allow for some leeway using the pelican for spratans and clones.

Turn invisible, create a decoy, disable fire arms, and switch telelport. Also has shields and reflexes to deflect gunfire.

  14. erickyboo February 10, 2015 at 5:51 pm -      #14

    Oh hi!
    Majestic team?
    Majestic team is comprised of:
    :
    Gabriel Thorne
    Naiya Ray
    Tedra Grant
    Anthony Madsen
    Carlo Hoya

Also, what dos ‘1 each type of armor abilities? ” mean?

  15. Friendlysociopath February 10, 2015 at 5:56 pm -      #15

Turn invisible, create a decoy, disable fire arms, and switch telelport. Also has shields and reflexes to deflect gunfire.

Alright, most of that is self-explanatory. But how does *disable fire arms* work?

  16. Warlock Lowk February 10, 2015 at 6:29 pm -      #16

“Also, what dos ‘1 each type of armor abilities? ” mean?”

No duplicates. They have the latest armor abilities but only one to spartan. So only enough for one person to use hardlight shield the rest have to pick something else.
    ===
“But how does *disable fire arms* work?”

    Radial disarm
By setting forth a wave of energy, Radial Disarm temporarily disrupts enemy weaponry.
So space magic. Range between 20-50 meters.

Delta Squad and Majestic aren’t even a speed bump for Loki Prime, he solos easily. How many Covenant/Helghast troops are stationed around the ships though?

  18. erickyboo February 10, 2015 at 7:13 pm -      #18

    Why does Loki solo?

Ah, I see. One armor ability of each type. Spartans have VISR, making it possible to see invisible enemies in faint orange outlines. Armor abilities, well promethean vision and stun blast are probably good ones for this scenario. Got to think on other ones.

  19. Warlock Lowk February 11, 2015 at 9:11 am -      #19

So what kind of infantry and ground units do the Helgast have nowadays? Last I recall they was lightning guns and mechs.

Even against the better examples of firepower in UNSC arsenal?

  20. Super Combine February 11, 2015 at 3:05 pm -      #20

    @Lowk
“Even against the better examples of firepower in UNSC arsenal?”

The most powerful UNSC weapon Majestic has access to that might hurt the Tenno is the ARC-920 railgun, Spartan Laser, and maybe the Six shot grenade launcher they’re getting in Halo 5. I say might because Tenno regularly walk off direct hits from Grinner rocket launchers that overkills an entire squad of Grinner Marines. Grinner Marines themselves are pretty fucking tanky considering their preferred method of boarding starships is getting inside a torpedo and ramming through the enemy ship’s hull without being crushed.

Of course this is assuming the Spartan IVs even have the reaction speeds to shoot the bullet timing Tenno before they get an arrow through the skull, which judging by their generally awful depictions outside of the visual guide, I’m gonna say it’s a solid no.

Guardians from Destiny can have some pretty good gear. The Hunter has access to a short range teleport, vaporizing electrical blade, teleporting strikes, and invisibility. As for weapons….they get pretty silly. Rifles that make heal with each kill, rocket launchers that home in to a ridiculous degree, and incinerating sniper rifle that makes its victims explode and creates its own ammo. A machine gun that brings 95% of its missed shots back. Almost all of these can incinerate/vaporize their targets.

The first one stuns and disables enemies, the second one is like this shock chain thing. Armour abilities. 5 Spartans,
    Stun blast
    Promethean Vision
    Maybe Shock Chain?
    Maybe an invisibility for someone?
    Maybe bubble shield?

Spartan-IVs in Gen 2 are physically equivalent as Spartan IIs in Gen 1 armor basically. Those stats should still apply…

Madsen might make use of the Stanchion.

” The Hunter has access to a short range teleport, vaporizing electrical blade, teleporting strikes, and invisibility.”

Only downside is that some of their abilities take a time to charge. Even the invisibility has a cooldown. So he is kind of odd man out on his team when it comes to stealth since everyone else can either maintain or instantly reactivate there’s.

“Almost all of these can incinerate/vaporize their targets.”

I thought only the fusion rifles that tend to do that.

The funny thing is other than Loki, I think delta can solo the rest in even mark 2 Katarn armor or mark 3 Katarn. Don’t know if their gernade launchers could do anything against Loki
