Android 18, make her first appearance today – from Dragon Ball Z
Raiden – from Metal Gear Revengeance
Commander Shepard - from Mass Effect
Kusanagi – from Ghost in the Shell
Edward Elric – from Fullmetal Alchemist
Honda Tadakatsu, make his first appearance today – from Sengoku Basara
Darth Vader – from Star Wars EU
Adam Jensen – from Deus Ex
Subject Delta – from Bioshock 2
Delta is not a cyborg :*(. He is biologically enhanced.
What happends when #18 blows up the planet?
Cyborg uses boom tubes to escape and/or BFR.
Has #18 been shown to be able to blow up a planet?_
That being said, I feel a lot of these characters are kinda useless cannon-fodder.
Forgot to add that- no Boom Tube for Cyborg.
–
Aren’t Big Daddies just organs stuck in a metal suit?
Without Boom Tubes, then Cyclops can’t really hang then.
—-
The characters that stand out in this match to me are Vader and Raiden.
—
What can the DBZ character do?
@kara
“Has #18 been shown to be able to blow up a planet?”
Yes is and is not. She has not done it on screen but since frieza could do it and she is hell of alot more powerful roughly double. It is safe to assume. Would she survive I think so.
If it wasn’t shown on panel, how can we really know if she can planet bust?
Either Cyborg (Lol) or Android (Lol again)) wins here.
Shepard have the lowest chances, but he have luck. Maybe all others will die because of the heart attack… or something… and he will win.
“If it wasn’t shown on panel, how can we really know if she can planet bust?
because power scaling. I mean trunk took out mecha freize no problem and he can planet bust. And #18 is way stronger than them and I can proove that. The only reason she does not is PIS and her CIS because she is materialistic. Pretty much anything from that is plantet buster or higher. Even krillian.
I don’t see 18 blowing up the planet unless she just decides she wants to move to another planet suddenly. Its pointlessly overkill for the other people in the match and she never showed an interest in blowing up Earth in the manga, and if this is current incarnation she’s got a husband and daughter that she probably wouldn’t destroy the home planet of.
She should still be able to turn everyone else involved into a smoldering crater from what I remember though. Though if she tries to do cqc that might turn problematic if someone gets a lucky hit.
Krillin can planet bust now? K.
Also, 18 never really had a chance to planet bust, she only ever fought on Earth if I remember right, and she never had any reason to destroy it.
You all raise good points but my point is orginally what if she goes “bah fuck it.” If I remeber correctly she is very ruthless and cold. Even in the bus saga. I know she has family and the op haw not posted where the battlefield is or what version of earth. For all we know it could be on different version. Also she knkws they can just be brought back with the dragonballs if she does it as well. Can anyone else defend against the level of attack.
no….but no one here can defend against her just blowing up the island or continent they end up on either or any size range in between.
18’s still not that big of a bitch to just blow up the planet
Annihilating the surrounding countryside is enough for 18 to win.
I think the question is here, does she need to blow up the planet to actually take out the other competitors? Most of them, from what I can see would only take a single high powered punch from her to take out. How has Cyborg fared against someone like Superman?
That and inf ki blast spam… sorry to cause a long end discussion.
Total Composite Shepard might last a few minutes against Android 18, and this is assuming Shepard can get the Biotic Powers to phase 18 in time unless Vader manages to save him the headaches.
Force Crush if Vader can target 18 in time might serve as causes for aching limbs all over the place and maybe allow the others a decapitating strike if the others can make a truce with each other or something.
Edward Elric gets about a few seconds unless he has a True Philosopher’s Stone, maybe a few seconds left if we’re using Current Timeline!-Android 18 or History of Trunks!-Android 18 and whichever one is in there says something about the sizes, best bet is to try to last long enough to possess her because if he dies first, game over for most of the rest.
I don’t remember Android 18 being bound by Physical Stamina regards like most of everyone else is, either, I know I don’t remember Android 17 worrying about such regards when he was fighting Piccolo in the Main DBZ Timeline, to say nothing of her History of Trunks!-Self either.
Just in case I gotta ask, which version of Android 18 are we using?
Main DBZ Timeline 18, or History of Trunks!-Android 18?
A Hell of a Difference is made with statements.

Oddly enough I was expecting Android 18 in a Fist-fight with Ryoko of Tenchi Muyo or ‘Regular 616′ Ms. Marvel of Marvel Comics first, unless the former’s better-suited to go all-out against Post-Battle of the Gods Vegeta by now but I digress.
Just a ‘Pure’ Fist-fight, because for all I’d know, either of them going all-out against 18 might be too much.
which version of Android 18 are we using?
–
Main DBZ 18.
–
I feel bad for throwing Kusanagi in there, but I didn’t want only 7 people and I wasn’t able to think of someone else.
–
I wouldn’t count Honda out. For physical feats he could probably stand toe-to-toe with most people here. Being the strongest warrior in Sengoku Basara is not a small thing.
She’s not too well known but there is Alita/Gally from the Battle Angel series. She’s pretty up there in terms of physical stats and hax.
—-
Not sure how she’d fair against 18 though, but she is really hard to put down permanently.
Feats for Tadakatsu Honda, besides being canonically stronger than everyone else in his universe. Although most of his strength would be powerscaling from everyone else.

@6:34 a single blow
–
@7:57 his landing packs some oomph
–
@12:10 survives a fairly large blast that knocked Sanada back. This is fairly impressive considering the shockwaves from character fights knock over soldiers miles away from the fight itself.
–
Anyone who even the Devil King (he who can knock people out of atmosphere) is afraid to fight is a formidable foe.
So, Vader has EU, can’t EU Jedi do some crazy hax stuff? I mean, isn’t he about as strong as Starkiller? Who did this:
–
www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nJ-B7xTAyo
–
4:13. And I remember hearing of Jedi tearing stars apart or something.
EU Vader can smash Durasteelt tanks from miles away in a few seconds. So he can pretty much wipe out the cannon-foder immediately. The only ones who would survive that are Cyborg, 18 (btw, why not 17?), and maybe Honda, I really don’t know much about him.
“Forgot to add that- no Boom Tube for Cyborg.”
–
Ouch, like taking away Goku’s IT.
Anyway we’ve seen what happens when Cyborg’s power are used for bad things and it involved hacking and shutting down the entire world. That should help take care a good deal of the people here.
Ouch, like taking away Goku’s IT.
–
I just wanted a match with Cyborg to progress beyond “Boom Tube game over”.
–
btw, why not 17?
–
Wanted more than one female, I’m an equal opportunity kind of guy.
–
I’m curious how cyber warfare would work out for everyone here. Imagine half the combatants just standing a few feet from one another while they try to hack one another.
Didn’t get a chance to edit.
Why not just limit his ability to teleport others willy nilly. At least let him keep his personal teleporting. It one of his modes of transportation and even attack.
Why not just limit his ability to teleport others willy nilly. At least let him keep his personal teleporting.
–
I’m alright with that.
–
Also, battle takes place on the Golden Gate Bridge- I’ll never be tired of seeing that thing destroyed.
“I’m curious how cyber warfare would work out for everyone here. Imagine half the combatants just standing a few feet from one another while they try to hack one another..”
–
Jensen and Major needs to be in close proximity. Only Major seems to have some basic control of her while she’s doing it(ie driving maybe walking).
Shep has some hacking ability via omnitool but even in a tech oriented class it’s limited. Still need at to be within dozen of meters or so to start it.

Well teleporting aside, it takes a second or two after telporting to use it again. So no nightcrawler-like spamming. In the mean time Cyborg has mad hops

Power =/= destructive capacity
But destructive capacity requires a certain amount of power.
It’s the same as squares being rectangles but not all rectangles are squares.
Android 18 isn’t necessarily able to destroy the planet in one blast but it doesn’t mean her attacks aren’t in that level of power/energy.
Same goes for Krillin.
@Tarbel: “It’s the same as squares being rectangles but not all rectangles are squares.”
Actually, if you’ve watched DBZ, you would know that triangles are actually squares.
===
OK, so I’ll admit that I only know 6-8 of these characters (depending on how familiar that implies). But, don’t like 7 of them die really, really easily? I mean, I’m pretty sure only Cyborg and possibly Vader and Raiden.
–
Hell, isn’t Cyborg the only one who can even fly? Unless I’m sorely lacking some crucial information, he should be the only one able to even have a chance at keeping up with 18.
@Epicazeroth
This power and destructive capacity relationship is simple logic that is the same for all fictional universes that are similar to the real universe. There’s no double standard for DBZ.
Is San Francisco popular on this site?
–
Not that I’m aware, I’m just fond of the trope depicting that bridge appearing in any medium usually results in its destruction.
–
But, don’t like 7 of them die really, really easily?
–
Define “easily”. Almost everyone here has feats of surviving and continuing to be active despite losing a limb or suffering severe bodily harm.
“Same goes for Krillin.”
–
The idea that Krillin is technically one of the most powerful human on earth is just so weird. Especially now that I’ve replace most of my DBZ memories with DBZ abridged.

Physically, He’s only around supersonic levels of speed. 18 wrecks him in that regard. Mentally though, dude brain is literally Super now. Like shifting through the worlds worth of digital while in the middle of talking to you. If his body holds he should be capable of quickly technopathing her down.
Iirc he is made of DC’s version of Adamantium Lite, so unless she opens with the big guns first he should be able to survive a pounding.
At least we’re not talking about Yamcha. He gets the rawest end of the deal in abridged >.>
Strength wise Vic is no 18 or Raiden but he”s still pretty strong. He was able to rip this cannon

True, they are really good at emphasizing how crappy his life is.
No Hongo Takeshi/any other cyborg Kamen Rider? Awwww.
–
More on-topic, I guess it comes down to if Cyborg or somebody can hack 18 before getting blown the hell up. Because while probably the most physically powerful here, I don’t think she has any defence against technological warfare like that. Although if they have to physically hit her with something to do that, or at least track her, speed is gonna be a good defence.
“Android 18 isn’t necessarily able to destroy the planet in one blast but it doesn’t mean her attacks aren’t in that level of power/energy.”
She is as strong as a super sayain. Not as strong as an asended sayain. But normal one yeah she can.
“More on-topic, I guess it comes down to if Cyborg or somebody can hack 18 before getting blown the hell up.”
I dout you could from what is implied she is more or less 95% human and she has a human brain not a machanical one. Though yiu could mindrape her.
@Tarbel: “This power and destructive capacity relationship is simple logic that is the same for all fictional universes that are similar to the real universe. There’s no double standard for DBZ.”
It was a joke. Because Tien’s Tri-Beam makes a square-shaped hole.
===
@Lowk: “If his body holds he should be capable of quickly technopathing her down.”
Has he ever done that? Used technopathy to take down an opponent? Would that even work? 18 needs to drink and can give birth so it’s highly debatable how electronic/mechanical she actually is.
“It was a joke. Because Tien’s Tri-Beam makes a square-shaped hole.”
“Actually, if you’ve watched DBZ, you would know that triangles are actually squares.”
–
As soon as you made that joke I thought of this www.quickmeme.com/img/a8/a8933e0321ad4154c2541d7f473525965cb7e890510948486a6d5b586e7648cd.jpg
.
I thought of this myself
Wasn’t 18 like wished into being human, though the limited dbz knowledge I do know, I don’t think they had anything controlled by computers…
I was wrong slightly the wish to make her human wasn’t grantable. Still she is definitely more human than machine.
Both androids can be put to sleep remotely

On the upside according to #16 Cell’s island busting attacks weren’t enough to hurt her. So only way any of them are hurting her is via hax. That or words, Shep’s one true superpower.
–
And lol geometric impossibilty needs to be needs to be in something. That like a doctor who sounding ability.
So, only 18 and Cyborg are relevant?
@Lowk: To be fair, that was Dr. Gero 17 was talking to. He may have built in a failsafe that specifically allows him to put them to sleep. It’s kind of unfair to assume that because their evil scientist creator can do it, other people can too.
@Epic
But I’m not just saying any ol’body. Cyborg is basically the martian manhunter to technology. He is more then likely the only person here who would have the means of remotely interfacing with whatever is in them that allows s person with a remote to put them out.
@Lowk: True. But what are his feats for doing that? Hell, for all we know Gero used an actual sedative to put the Androids to sleep.
Gero used a remote control to potentially shut down 17 and 18.
I’d say it’s more than unlikely that it isn’t a sedative that does it.
So cyborg aside only person who would be capable of doing harm against 18 is Jensen’s phasing bullets and well, bullet timing is like raditz level of speed. 18 has got to be worth like a billion raditz.
“18 has got to be worth like a billion raditz.”
–
–
Reminded me of this.
“Reminded me of this.”
–
Vegeta was only 15 raditz. Could sworn he was worth more. I may have been underestimating the scale of one raditz.
===
So say Cyborg does manage to take 18 off the board. That leaves at least five others who probably can’t be influenced by him.
Shep
Vader
Ed
Tadakatsu
and Delta might be safe
But anything like Shep’s omnitool would be liabilities.
Can anyone help me try to calculate the standard strength values of Sengoku Basara characters? I’d just like a baseline to give the main cast.

Seems like hill/building busting striking strength. Which is between megajoule and gigajoule class in OBD terms of striking strength.

Most of them are still pretty reliant on a heart and lungs.
–
[“The mysterious Force would let Vader block a fired blaster with his lightsaber or his hands, and he could kill with a gesture, could freeze your lungs or stop your heart, just like that. It was a lesson many had learned the hard way.” – Shadow of the Empire: Page 24
–
–
He is pretty quick still too.
–
“It happened before he could get out another word. Faster than an eyeblink. Faster than he’d seen anyone move, anyone except Yoda. The lightsaber hadn’t been there, and then it was, and the lightsaber was a blur. Vader moved without seeming to move, and the lightsaber sliced into Roan, straight into his chest. Straight into his heart.” – Last of the Jedi: Secret Weapon (Can’t find the page number on the google preview.)
–
–
““Vader came out of nowhere, his hand seemingly teleporting from his side to the air in less than a tenth of a second. Ferus felt the Force being kicked out of him… he felt himself being suffocated. Deprived of air has Vader’s Force Choke grew tighter.” Last of The Jedi Reckoning Page 115
–
–
“Five meters away, Vader stopped short. “Mine?”. “You convinced him that with you by his side, he could get away with just about anything.” Again, Vader’s exhalation approximated a laugh. “It’s thinking like that that blinded the Jedi to their fate.” He raised his sword. “Now it’s time for you to join them.
Vader closed the distance between them in a heartbeat, slashing left and right with potent vertical strokes, narrowly missing Shryne time and again, but destroying everything touched by the blade. No whirling now; no windmilling or deft lunges. He simply used his bulk and size to remain wedded to the floor. It was an old style, the very opposite of what was said to have been Dooku’s style, and Shryne had no defense against it. If I could see his face, his eyes, Shryne found time to think. If he could knock that outsize helmet from Vader’s head. If he could lance his lightsaber through the control panel on Vader’s chest. That was the key! That was the reason for Vader’s antique style-to protect his center, as Grievous had been forced to do. If he could only get to that control panel…” – Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader

That was a group feat, though. And, frankly, Zatanna and Firestorm should logically be better at freezing water. Firestorm definitely should, at least.

OK, so Cyborg can definitely hack. Would the knowledge that the combatants get include the fact that he can hack? If not, he could conceivably hack all of them (or at least those that can be hacked) before they can act.

Is that scan the only thing you are basing your claim on? Because it doesn’t even mention the word computer (not every computer has a database and there aren’t that many databases in the world) and he says it’s hard to operate properly with all that data coming into his system. Because he says its hard to live ‘here’, I reckon it may be a property of the station they’re on which helps him get all that information as well.
But that’s guessing because all I have is one scan to base everything on.

It sounds more impressive than it looks. He’s not actually doing anything that physically challenges or harms him considering his strength and durability anyhow. It’ll be hard to say that Cyborg can still concentrate on hacking when dodging/getting hit by supersonic+ attacks by the rest of the combatants, based off this one scan.
“Is that scan the only thing you are basing your claim on? Because it doesn’t even mention the word computer (not every computer has a database and there aren’t that many databases in the world) and he says it’s hard to operate properly with all that data coming into his system.”

No
www.comicbookmovie.com/images/users/uploads/33503/justice-league_9_04.jpg
Databases aren’t what he’s talking about. He’s talking about the information from all around the world not just the databases his system digs into.
Databases on superhuman are just what they were specifically looking for.
===
“Because he says its hard to live ‘here’, I reckon it may be a property of the station they’re on which helps him get all that information as well.”

Has nothing to do with the station, he’s talking about the conversation they are having at that moment. He can interface with everything from tv to super computers but it’s also one of the downside of his abilities. He isn’t doing it consciously. So he is constantly bombarded by information because the computer part of his brain is a intrusive little thing.
It’s like a million tv shows you’ve been waiting to see in the background while your trying to talk to someone. Except all that noise is directly in your head.
–
His ability to actually do anything is kind of a feat on his mental fortitude.
