Tony Jaa (The Protector)
Donnie Yen (Ip Man)
Beatrix Kiddo (Kill Bill)
Yuri Boyka (Undisputed)
Jackie Chan (Legend of Drunken Master)
Hit Girl (Kick-Ass)
Jet Li (Unleashed)
Jason Statham (The Transporter)
Officer Rama (The Raid)
Bruce Lee (Enter the Dragon)
Jean-Claude Van Damme (Kickboxer)
Fight takes place on the Foundry Map from Halo 3.
Everyone starts unarmed. There are swords, knives, nunchuks, alcohol, etc spread throughout the map. No guns. Jackie Chan starts out tipsy.
Who wins?
Hit girl has adrenaline shots that give her incredible speed and reaction times.

Hit Girl or Beatrix stomp…
They have the most “superhuman” feats.
–
The rest are just good martial artists. They wont stand a chance.
“Hit Girl or Beatrix stomp…

–
Hit Girl has 2, but most of her hand to hand fights show that she isn’t a superhuman. And I don’t recall Beatrix having anything I’d label superhuman.
–
“The rest are just good martial artists. They wont stand a chance.”
–
The rest are GREAT martial artists. I’m going to need to see A LOT of evidence to justify those 2 stomping everybody here. Especially since everybody starts with nothing.

Granted most of it is PiS, but there’s tons of Superhuman stuff she does movement/reflex wise.
“Granted most of it is PiS, but there’s tons of Superhuman stuff she does movement/reflex wise.”
–
The one super thing she did was throw the scared tiny guy with one arm. Impressive, basically impossible for that body type outside of fiction, but certainly not enough to justify stomping anybody here except Jean-Claude.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=vsBKyduk3RE Movie Hit Girl can just straight up dodge bullets. by which I mean two.
Nevermind I see this is the characters the actors played. If that’s the case the ones who haven’t shown to be nearly superhuman are probably going down first.
So who’s the most skilled with a sword btw? Since there are swords on the map I’d expect anyone who uses swords to go for those immediately. The extended reach would be incredibly valuable against martial artists.
–
The only person here I’ve seen using nunchaku is Jet Li, although I’m sure others on the list have as well. While he is a BAMF with nunchaku, I don’t think he could beat someone with exceptional swordplay skills using them.
–
Initial bets are on the Drunken Master, a style that is well known for being unpredictable.
@Friendly: “Initial bets are on the Drunken Master, a style that is well known for being unpredictable.”
Isn’t Jeet Kune Do supposed to emphasize something similar? Or at least, that relying too much on pre-set patterns is ineffective because actual fighting is too chaotic for that?
===
So, is this supposed to be the actors? Or the people they played in those movies? Because Hit Girl and Rama are characters, but almost all of the rest are actors.
“The one super thing she did was throw the scared tiny guy with one arm.”
–
She threw an axe at a guys head which sent him flying across the room.
She tanked hits from a mace/chain thing, and was up and ready to fight as if nothing happened.
She blocked SEVERAL swords from angles and directions that would have been impossible for any normal human to react to.
–
Aside from that, i would go as far as to call her swordmanship superhuman.
It’s theoretically impossible to go up against more than 4 or 5 swords at a time.
And while i agree 99% of the time most of the people were standing around like idiots, there WERE moments where she fought off several simultaneously.
–
Then again, lots of the characters here are superhuman-esq from the looks of it.
So, is this supposed to be the actors? Or the people they played in those movies?
–
The characters I would imagine, otherwise why bother listing the movie titles?
–
That said, isn’t Hit-Girl superhuman?
Uh, wow, she’s a violent little fighter isn’t she? Just watched that adrenaline rush scene from Hitgirl 2.

Also, it’s worth noting that the Russian chick she was up against has some…. pretty bonkers feats.
Hit Girl also fairly casually dodges two bullets in the first movie, and that was without anything to help her.

More next post.
I’m not saying HG wins mind, because I feel like Jet Li in Unleashed was doing some fairly over the human level type stuff, and the same for Staham in Transporter. Though I could be confusing that with the Crank films. Also the Raid characters were fairly insane feat wise. Also why isn’t Chow Yun Fat in this? He never seems to get any real BankGambling love.

So, that’s about 90% of the movies fights. Hope you enjoy the Raid Redemption and The Raid 2 Berendal.
–
Thank you, Sadot, for bringing Rama to the Pile!
It should also be noted that the Kick-Ass films got creative feat wise for Hit Girl compared to the original cannon. But she still got completely destroyed by Mother Russia until she took that adrenaline. Everybody else she fought had no martial arts training.
–
And yes these are the characters. Not the actors.
Just realized, I left out the mooks in my first in a three part Rama feat list, so here it is:
–

Or at least I think that’s the one I skipped… I posted a lot of videos, don’t feel like going through all of them again.
=
Again, thank you Sadot for bringing the Raid to the Pile. I hope Rama gets more representation because he is a badass. Also, next movie that comes out I’m sure he’s going to get more epic and more ridiculous since The Raid Redemption to The Raid 2 Bernedal was such a huge leap in action.
=
Also, since I already posted the other fights Baseball Bat Guy and Hammer Girl had in another link(Hawkeye and Mockingbird vs The Canary and Green Arrow)I’ll post Mad Dogs other fight to show why Rama and Andi being able to take him down is impressive

Mad Dog vs Jaka:

So, just noted Ip Man is in the match too… Well, now I have a tough choice… I’ve only seen 4 of these characters in action(Kill Bil Vol 1 and 2, Kick Ass 1 and 2, The Raid Redemption and 2 Berendal, and I’ve only seen the first Ip Man, although it’s been a while for all of them). I think whoever wins here is whoever has the most experience fighting multiple skilled martial artists.
–
For example, those four characters have all experience taking down a lot of mooks, but out of all of them I only know of Rama taking on more than one non mook characters.

Rama walks in right after that(to the side of Bejo’s shoulder that didn’t get blown off)and runs to the couch behind Uco all while getting shot at by Uco. So, probably nice aim dodging feats.
Bruce Lee
“Again, thank you Sadot for bringing the Raid to the Pile. I hope Rama gets more representation because he is a badass. Also, next movie that comes out I’m sure he’s going to get more epic and more ridiculous since The Raid Redemption to The Raid 2 Bernedal was such a huge leap in action.”
–
No probs. I love well made fighting movies and I wanted to bring a match that didn’t involve hypersonic city busters for a change.
well, i would say bruce lee. As it comes to stamina, he focuses on it the most out of all the fighters, and the man, in REAL LIFE, not the movies, was damned near superhuman, the classic “too fast for film” and “need special training equipment that could withstand him” being classic examples. even if he isnt the most dangerous fighter here, he is the smartest. He, like chan, doesnt go looking for a fight, and would be more than happy to let the more dangerous competitors tear each other new ones while he waits and/or handles the small fry. For those who think that beatrix getting the hanzo sword will win this for her, remember that the classical function of the nunchaku, bruce lee’s signature weapon, was specifically to disarm swordsmen, and a similar chain wrap tactic was shown to work on her in the film. Bruce Lee for the messy, but inevitable win.
Hmm, actually, if they’re aware of one another’s power and such, logically they’d go for the biggest threat first and then work downwards.
So they’ll all probably go for Hitgirl first as she’s the most superhuman person here.
–
Am I a bad person for wanting Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan to work together for a Tag Team victory?
I would say it is less Hit girl dodging bullets and more her moving around in reaction to the gun.
Personally I would say that Bruce wins. His reactions are faster than anyone else and he can take pretty much everyone out in one hit.

I’m guessing Hitgirl doesn’t have adrenaline in this match…?
Anyhow, i can calc her bullet feat if need be.
10 bucks says it’s faster than anyone else here.
–
Everyone saying Bruce Lee wins needs to stop fanboying.
He’s literally one of the least impressive characters here.
(But by far the most impressive actor)
Well I think there is only a couple of us who have said said Bruce, I haven’t been called a fanboy 20 years.
The Crazy 88’s can’t fight for shit and the bride isn’t that fast. You have to remember the character is limited to the speed that the actor/actress can physically do (or rely on special effects and editing).
So according to that logic, Hit girl and the Bride are not going to be a factor as their characters are far too slow.
As for being one of the least impressive, he beats everyone he faces, in double quick time (ok, the guards are as bad as the Crazy 88’s) but he beats much better fighters as well, pretty easily.
Bruce uses is basically an evolutions of Ip mans technique. So he has an advantage over him.
Tony Jaa character has a good style and is hard as anything but I would say Bruce is faster
Jet Li is very good but I am not sure about his character in unleashed, though I have to admit not watching all the film, as its a bit rubbish.
Rama is very good and pretty indestructible (how many times does he get injured) but he does get hit a lot. So I think Bruce with be faster.
Statham character is cool but I think he is is out of his league here.
Van Damme character is going to get totalled or at least kicked in the nuts.
Don’t know anything about Yuri Boyka but from what I have seen he hits hard and kicks a lot.
So after all that I go back to Bruce. He fights he wins, even in the bathroom.
@Sadot Hey, for Hit Girl is it comic book and/or film versions? And does Rama get his police gear or not? Obviously not the baton, but just the body gear?

” I love well made fighting movies”
–
Yea, you’ll love this one if you haven’t seen it.
–
Out of curiosity, did you hear about it before I mentioned The Raid characters(if you’ve seen me mention them), or have you known of them long before I ever mentioned them(again, if you’ve seen me mention them)?
=
“I wanted to bring a match that didn’t involve hypersonic city busters for a change.”
–
But those are fun 😉
=
“So they’ll all probably go for Hitgirl first as she’s the most superhuman person here.”
–
That’s arguable. I’m still thinking anyone here who hasn’t taken down multiple noteworthy martial artists at once is going to be at a disadvantage. Everyone here has taken down multiple mooks, but who here has taken down multiple guys at once as skilled as they themselves are?
=
“I’m guessing Hitgirl doesn’t have adrenaline in this match…?”
–
Doubt it since it seemed like it was a one time thing and isn’t standard equipment for her.
–
Seemed a lot like it was a prep/last stand type thing. Not what I’d call “standard.”
=
“Anyhow, i can calc her bullet feat if need be.”
–
Sure, why not? Also, calc Rama’s speed feat. See next paragraph reply.
=
“10 bucks says it’s faster than anyone else here.”
–
Rama has what seems to be a bullet dodging feat in one of the videos. He turns around, gets shot at, then does a flip. Couldn’t of been aim dodging since the gunmen were behind a door.
–
Post 18, third video(also the last one)at about 2:40-2:45. I don’t see it being anything else, since he jumped out of the way after getting shot at. Granted, wasn’t as close as Hit Girl’s was, but I’m thinking it’s somewhat comparable(since it comes from multiple gunmen and since he dodges it without seeing them fire at him and has to go off of the door getting blown apart by the bullets without them hitting him).
=
Kinda depressing that there aren’t too many feats being argued here. Just people going “Bruce Lee, cus he’s Bruce Lee.” C’mon guys, where are the feats that prove he could win? From the one video Mal posted I don’t see anything as close to being as impressive as Rama, Ip Man, Hit Girl, or Black Mamba. And that’s also the ONLY OTHER video that’s been posted for anyone here. I posted 18 videos for Rama and I’ve seen a few for Hit Girl. Most people aren’t even being debated here…
=
Just going off of Sadot’s video of Jet Li, he seemingly dodges a bullet too(or just got shot and turned his body falling down into a way to kick the table and “Take out The Gunman”). He also takes on multiple seemingly noteworthy(haven’t seen the film so it’s hard to tell if they’re mooks or actual martial artists)martial artists, which is going to help here.
=
“You have to remember the character is limited to the speed that the actor/actress can physically do (or rely on special effects and editing).”
–
Wut…? No… The character is limited to what we’ve seen them do on screen, not the actor portraying them. I seriously doubt Uma Thurman or Chloe Mortez could do have the crap they do in the films(anyone here for that matter). Seeing how this is a match between the characters in those films and not a match between actors.
=
Going to post some feats for Ip Man since he’s also here

Probably one of my favorite fights in a film. Not because it’s the most epic or badass, but I just love the two’s attitudes towards each other and how they’re just doing fighting for shits n giggles. Especially at the end when they’re just like: “Have a nice day! See ya soon!”

Haven’t seen the other movie, so I’ll only post from the first movie. Sadot’s already posted Ip Man vs 10 Black Belts, so I’ll just leave it at that for Ip Man. Am I right to assume Ip Man The Final Fight, The Grandmaster and the Ip Man show aren’t allowed for this match?
I am not sure there is lots of people going on about Bruce. Most of the posts seemed to be about hit girl.
You have to take into consideration, when the movies were made and how the style of martial arts films have changed since the 70’s. If Bruce’s films were made now, they would look and be filmed very differently to how it was done back then. Its like comparing a 60’s Bond film with Casino Royal or the Bourne films.
My basic argument is that the speed that Bruce show in Enter the Dragon is faster than the speed you see with the other fighters you see here. He rarely gets hit, takes most people out in one hit.
Clip Bruce toying with Oharra: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NDXWHlkcag
Bruce fighting multiple opponents: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKIFlaV03s0
Also whilst the final fight in the film isn’t my favourite, Bruce’s character (Lee) only receives slight flesh wounds, when being slashed by what are 3 knives attached to Han’s hand, which should have cut very deep (especially the slash from behind), so he mush be very resilient to damage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6urUSWssqYQ
“You have to take into consideration, when the movies were made and how the style of martial arts films have changed since the 70’s.”
–
That’s not really relevant. If we see character do something, that’s all we need to be able to tell us of his capabilities.
=
“He rarely gets hit”
–
Doesn’t really mean much since we’ve seen Hit Girl and possibly Rama dodging bullets. Those are the things that are important.
=
“takes most people out in one hit.”
–
Rama’s snapped a dude’s leg like a twig… And his body just goes through physical abuse that I haven’t seen too many people here take with very little to no effect(only exception being when he jumps out a window and falls a couple stories down).
=
“Clip Bruce toying with Oharra”
–
Why should I care that he’s toying with Oharra? Is he at all notable? If so post feats.
=
“Bruce fighting multiple opponents”
–
Something they’ve all done. I’m pretty sure everyone here could’ve done that.
=
“Also whilst the final fight in the film isn’t my favourite, Bruce’s character (Lee) only receives slight flesh wounds, when being slashed by what are 3 knives attached to Han’s hand, which should have cut very deep (especially the slash from behind), so he mush be very resilient to damage:”
–
Same thing as Oharra, why should I care that he beat him? Also, it could just be that they didn’t cut as deep as you were thinking they were, and isn’t as much Lee just having good durability.
–
For example, Rama had a similar slash from a random mook in one of his fights, but instead of assuming it’s just him having superhuman durability I’m just going to assume the slash wasn’t too deep and that the body armor protected him.
“Out of curiosity, did you hear about it before I mentioned The Raid characters(if you’ve seen me mention them), or have you known of them long before I ever mentioned them(again, if you’ve seen me mention them)?”
–
I actually found out about the Raid through an article on Grantland about the best martial artists on film.
–
“Hey, for Hit Girl is it comic book and/or film versions? And does Rama get his police gear or not? Obviously not the baton, but just the body gear?”
–
Comic Hit Girl. And Rama can have his body gear.
CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets
I can’t really see much point in posting feats on Lee or Oharra. I am sure you have seen the film, so you know as much information as I do about the Characters. Lee is a Shaolin master and Han trained at the Shaolin temple. The rest would just be speculation. I prefer to go by what I physically see.
I just am going by the physical speed which the characters are moving on screen. Of course it is impossible to see if Lee can dodge bullets as guns are banned on the island.
The Raid and Raid 2 are very good film and Rama is pretty much indestructible, in the same way as Lee is.
With a hit you need to take into consideration, many factors, the weapon itself, the power put into the attack, whether the person is weather body armour.
In the hit I am talking about with Lee (4:34). Han is coming up from behind, He is using 4 blades on his hand which are basically knives. He takes a full swing, he comes down at an angle that would cause a huge would on Lee and Lee isn’t wearing any body armour. But Lee pretty much only receives a flesh wound.
Now either Han is pretty a pretty incompetent fighter or Lee is very tough in the film.
I’m not gonna say Tony Jaa wins… But I’m just gonna leave this here…
