He-Man Vs Kratos

He-Man Vs Kratos

Suggested by nsl98

For this battle, we have He-Man (Masters of the Universe) facing off against Kratos from the God of War franchise.

He-Man is in his 80’s cartoon incarnation.

They encounter each other in the Snowdrift Inn located in Easthaven within the Ten-Towns of Icewind Dale. (Forgotten Realms)

Who would win?

    He-Man stomps.
    He-Man pushed a moon, Kratos is decidedly not even close to that level.
    It’s sad that it’s reached this point finally but it was inevitable. Though maybe He-Man will just beat him senseless and give out fashion tips.

    Kratos loses to 80’s homoeroticism.

  4. Commander Cross November 27, 2014 at 11:49 am -      #4

    Most Equal Incarnations would beg the question how long could a Kratos that’s got everything last, it looks like it’s He-Man’s fight to lose at the moment.

    If this were N52!-He-Man, it’d be a game-over on Kratos for sure.

    Kratos loses.

    Don’t know much about Cartoon He-man but in comics he is strong enough to go against super man with his magic sword. Kratos seems to have range advantage, Claws of Hades might work.

    Kratos the overrated loses again. Big surprise.

    “Kratos the overrated loses again. Big surprise.”

    He’s had a fair amount of wins.
    BankGambling.wikia.com/wiki/Kratos

    It’s just his bracket puts him against people who he really shouldn’t be up against. Throw the term “God” onto a character and suddenly everyone thinks he can solo entire universes worth of people.

  12. nsl98 November 27, 2014 at 7:33 pm -      #12

    That’s actually not why I suggested this. I flipped a coin. Heads Kratos tails Hulk. Depending on what it landed on, that’s the match I would suggest first.

  13. Jake_Uzumaki November 27, 2014 at 7:49 pm -      #13

    Hulk would have been a better fight..or well actually a fight. As it stands Kratos is greatly outmatched physically, and facing a foe with an indestructible weapon.

  14. nsl98 November 27, 2014 at 8:01 pm -      #14

    @Jake
    Don’t worry… I suggested He Man vs Hulk too

  15. Jake_Uzumaki November 27, 2014 at 8:16 pm -      #15

    okay, like I said there should at least be some debate to that on lol.
    Kratos is at the point it’s hard to find him good matches.
    Maybe Monkey D. Luffy he’s only a small island buster I think…
    Senator Armstrong maybe..
    Maybe a low end Naruto character like Rock Lee..
    Maybe a mid-high end Space Marine with just a chainsword

    Sora stomps
    No idea

  19. nsl98 November 27, 2014 at 8:59 pm -      #19

    I’ll suggest Kratos vs Donte ( I call him that cuz he’s not the real Dante)

    @SuperTengen
    Maybe, but doesn’t MIB have time travel?

  21. Commander Cross November 27, 2014 at 9:09 pm -      #21

    @STTGL at #17

    Depending on the versions and incarnations for both, I’d reckon it could work.

    As for ‘possible’ opponents for Kratos at the moment:

    Ky Kiske(Guilty Gear) in a ‘Pure’ Weapon-to-Weapon fight, the most if anything allowed being Passive Abilities.
    Mat Cauthon(The Wheel of Time) in just Weapon-to-Weapon.
    Eren Yeager(Attack on Titan) in fact, by most equal incarnations?
    Edward Elric(Full Metal Alchemist) if Kratos gets God Powers, Ed gets a True Philosopher’s stone perhaps?
    Valkyrie Cain(The World of Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy) Mere Post-Dark Days Pre-Deathbringer incarnations?(Let’s face it, if Kratos don’t end Post-Dark Days Val before her Dark Side gets unleashed, prepare for Kratos vs Post-Changes Dresden 2.0, folks!)
    Darren Wilson, The Current Governor of Missouri and Bob McCulloch of the Grand Jury with only the KKK backing them up, maybe? (Semi-serious about the asking.)
    Ed Single-D from Ed Edd N Eddy with every power he’s ever got, plus Comic Book Canon?
    Kyoko Sakura from Madoka Magica if Manga Spin-off content’s allowed?
    The Meta from Red vs Blue or Agent Tex?
    What about Commander Shepard, Liara or Wrex from Mass Effect for that matter?
    Vs. Asura(Asura’s Wrath) vs Pyramid Head(Silent Hill) in a 3-way smackdown?
    Some guy named Max Daniels from The Tapestry novels?
    Fate/Stay Night!-Lancer from Fate/Stay Night maybe?
    Some versions of Jesus Christ(Famous ‘The Lord Junior’ we all know best.) would be out-of-the-question and the best Kratos can hope for is a quick Mercy-killing, really.
    What about Aleph from Shin Megami Tensei 2 or Flynn from Shin Megami Tensei 4 4 that matter?
    Afro Samurai by any chance?
    Or even Samurai Jack?
    —–

    I can’t believe I’m mentioning the idea, but what about Kirito from Sword Art Online with the right incarnations for both sides, maybe?
    Granted, neither he nor Heathcliff could last as long against Kratos as the above(some of these are from me Semi-joking around, at least two ideas are me Semi-joking.) but either could still be promising.

  22. Jake_Uzumaki November 27, 2014 at 9:29 pm -      #22

    I don’t know if Kratos vs new Dante would get posted since he fought old Dante.

  23. Friendlysociopath November 27, 2014 at 9:36 pm -      #23

    I don’t know if Kratos vs new Dante would get posted since he fought old Dante.

    Fair point, making it a team battle would be better.

  24. nsl98 November 27, 2014 at 10:42 pm -      #24

    Master Chief vs Spider-Man got posted 3 times…

    And who would the team mates be?

  25. Friendlysociopath November 27, 2014 at 11:10 pm -      #25

    And who would the team mates be?

    Well since it’s your match so that would be your call haha.

    You could just go to the wiki and look for people in the metahuman category, that’s the group they’re in.
    If you have other matches in mind you could just group the people together and designate pairs to fight

    For example, Team A has
    Dude 1
    Dude 2
    Girl 1
    and Team B would have
    Dude 3
    Dude 4
    Girl 2
    and you say each fights their opposite, whichever team with the most wins is the victor.

    If you’re asking us our opinions:
    Commander Cross wants somebody to use the Meta from RvB.
    I’d like to see Date from Sengoku Basara used. You could still use Sora if you wanted.
    The possibilities are endless, it’s your match.

  26. nsl98 November 27, 2014 at 11:21 pm -      #26

    @Friendly
    I see. Thank you. This has opened my eyes with how I suggest matches. :)

    Just to be sure, if you do decide to use Valkyrie Cain, Don’t let this image go to Waste whatever you do, okay? ;_;

    Grant credit to SpazMuse if you use it as well.

    Credit Archerus for this link if you wanna use it to represent Kyoko.

    img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111115055252/saimoe/images/d/df/Kyouko_sakura_profile.jpg

    Chalk it up to more ‘official’ artists if you ought to use this to represent Kyoko instead.

    fav.me/d5dajye

    Do credit the Artist for whoever drew The Meta from Red vs Blue if you go add The Meta somewhere.

    Either way, with or without Time Powers allowed for either side, I’d reckon that IF Valkyrie Cain and Kyoko Sakura get listed out, I’m gonna strive my hardest to represent the both of them, I know that the few fans of Madoka Magica will arrive in Kyoko’s defense but I’ve read the Manga Spin-offs, and I’ve been blessed to read up to Mortal Coil by Derek Landy in Val’s case.

    No matter whom I’d side with, my mission for this group fight will be to make sure both are as reasonably-represented as possible, anything less will kill me by the end of it, and I doubt The Big-G Man Himself or whatever family he’s got will ever let me hear the end of it.

    If I make both movie version and take away all time travel would it be good?

    @STTGL at #28

    You got it, comrade.
    I’d reckon it’ll have potential and promise, no doubt in my mind about it.

    @Everyone else

    Most of the fighters listed from #15-21 have potential to qualify for future fights, let alone the group fighting being considered.
    I highly recommend you choose wisely with who sides with what, from here on out.

    Anyway this is still He-Man’s fight to lose by far at the moment.

    Kratos wins this hands down

  31. Ragnorke November 28, 2014 at 3:46 pm -      #31

    @kagetatsu
    You must be new here…
    What makes you think kratos would win? Do you have any strength/speed/durability/skill feats for kratos that you believe would give him the upper hand?

    He-man has lifted a city, pushed the moon, and fought pre-crises superman…
    What has kratos done that comes even close? 10 bucks says you’re going to say something silly like “kratos has killed gods Hur dur!”

  32. Jake_Uzumaki November 28, 2014 at 4:01 pm -      #32

    Really even without the Superman thing He-Man stomps.
    Kratos vs Aquaman or Namor might be somewhat fairer than this if we want to find him a comic fight though. I don’t think either of them is moon level.

  33. Alpha or Omega November 28, 2014 at 4:08 pm -      #33

  34. Friendlysociopath November 28, 2014 at 4:15 pm -      #34

    Just pointing this out- if you did like the idea for Team Fights with duels between select combatants adding up points for a win- you aren’t even restricted to making everyone the same power-level so long as their designated opponents are in the right tier.

    That Heavenly Sword girl might give Kratos a decent match. (Edit: Happened already, Kratos won)
    Haruko from FLCL would be… interesting to say the least.
    Vader might be fun to pit against Kratos.
    While I hate to suggest it- Batman vs Kratos?

  35. Jake_Uzumaki November 28, 2014 at 4:18 pm -      #35

    Depends just base Batman or Batman with prep
    former gets stomped by Kratos later most likely stomps via firepower.

  36. Commander Cross November 28, 2014 at 4:26 pm -      #36

    @FriendlySociopath at #34

    Don’t forget about which version of Batman we’re talking about and who’s within the Batman Suit in question, it also makes a Hell of a Difference to keep it in mind.

    If its Comic!-Batman in general, give him The Suit of Sorrows and it could work, if it’s Injustice-verse!-Batman, one of the Batmen happens to be a Casual SuperHuman due to the Kryptonian Pills and stuff so he has a shot to get a fight working.

    If it’s Batman Beyond!-Batman, are you going with Wayne or McGinnis?
    Makes a hell of a difference there.

    Anyway if Post-Dark Days Valkyrie Cain gets in play, not only do I hope to represent her but I hope that SpazMuse’s image will be used for a Very Good Cause to say the least.

    Likewise with Kyoko Sakura.

    Post-Dark Days Valkyrie Cain has a few aces up her sleeve beyond her Dark Side I’m warning you about.

    As for current fight, what makes anyone so sure that He-Man would be stupid enough to stand still and let Kratos hit him with the Claws of Hades or The Blade of Olympus?

  37. kagetatsu November 28, 2014 at 4:27 pm -      #37

    @Ragnorke

    Kratos has super strength able to stop Atlas from crushing him and it is unknown what the limits to his strength is.

    Kratos fighting skill fair exceeds he-mans. He was taught by ares and killed him.

    Kratos has the speed of Hermes, can’t remember how fast he is but I know he can travel through realms quickly. I’ll look it up.

    Claws of hades that can rip the soul of of anyone and can also summon hades army.

    He’s fighting speed is faster then he mans will post a video.

    He can regenerate injuries.

    He can tank magic pretty easy.

    He has the blade of Olympus that wiped out a army of titan with one blow.

    Sorry kinda in a rush right now but I will post more later :)

  38. Ragnorke November 28, 2014 at 4:27 pm -      #38

    Namor is above moon level. He’s… Well… Marvel has been TRYING to make him a high tier power house. But eh.
    He can fight Hulk and stuff, even fought Sentry once (although got wrecked like a ragdoll).
    I’d put him in the same league as Wonder Man & Rulk

  39. Ragnorke November 28, 2014 at 4:31 pm -      #39

    @kagetatsu
    Did you just ignore the he man feats? He moved the moon.
    Do you have any idea how much energy that takes?

    Also, I’m not going to bother going into the superman fight.

  40. Jake_Uzumaki November 28, 2014 at 4:44 pm -      #40

    “Kratos has super strength able to stop Atlas from crushing him and it is unknown what the limits to his strength is.”

    You mean he was straining to stop Atlas from crushing him. Whereas any self respecting brick would have snapped Atlas’s fingers, hell Sage Naruto could have snapped Atlas’s fingers.
    As to his limits they seem to be in the couple hundred ton range as I don’t know if he ever did anything that really went into the thousand ton range let alone millions of tons like He-Man who would have picked up Olympus and slapped Zeus with it.

    “He was taught by ares and killed him”

    He killed a pathetically weak version of Ares, wow, somebody alert the media. I can think of dozens of characters that could solo GoW Olympus…without even getting into people that are called gods. GoW gods suck hard.

    “Kratos has the speed of Hermes, can’t remember how fast he is ”

    Calced at 40-50 mph if I remember right. Super impressive stuff there.

    “He can tank magic pretty easy.”

    Really? Is that why his ass was knocked off a mountain by magic lightning from one of the most bitch ass versions of Zeus in fiction?

    “He has the blade of Olympus that wiped out a army of titan with one blow”

    A Titan army made up of pathetic kaiju that punch things and have 0 durability feats besides being slaughtered by bitch ass versions of the Olympians that could be solo’d by mid-low end Marvel and DC bricks….oh yeah really impressive compared to the indestructible sword that makes He-Man strong enough to move Moons.

    @Ragnorke
    well he’s fought people on that tier but I don’t know if he’s really there himself. If he is then there’s still Aquaman.

    He-Man stomps, end of story.

  43. kagetatsu November 28, 2014 at 8:21 pm -      #43

    @Nsl98

    Yea I see what you saying now I would give the win to he-man I didn’t really know he’s speed. Still don’t say stomp I say he man win 70% of the time because he fights the likes of skeletor and doesn’t stom him and he’s way weaker and slower then he man, he’s mostly magic.

  44. kagetatsu November 28, 2014 at 8:28 pm -      #44

    @Nsl98
    Also you should of suggested one of these.

    He-man vs Thor

    He-man vs wonder women

    He-man vs shazam

    He-man vs asura

    He-man vs Mario

    He-man vs Finn from AT

    That would be good fights, lol the last 2 are jokes

  45. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets November 28, 2014 at 8:31 pm -      #45

    “I’d put him in the same league as Wonder Man & Rulk”

    That’s a pretty wide range of league. Rulk’s greatest feat is about mountain busting(his punches registered as a 10 on the Richter scale which Google tells me is something abobve 2.7 Gigatons, and IIRC someone on here said mountain busting requires gigatons of force to do). While Wonder Man has feats that have him shaking entire planets. Not very many, but they’re there.

  46. Ragnorke November 28, 2014 at 8:55 pm -      #46

    @CH
    Rulk consistently fights people above just mountain busting though. Power scaling isn’t always accurate, but it’s definitely still a valid method of debate.
    Rulk has BEATEN Hulk more than once, has Beaten silver surfer (although that was sorta pis), has fought wonder man, etc etc.

  47. CH1C4N0444 is allergic to bullets November 28, 2014 at 9:00 pm -      #47

    “Rulk consistently fights people above just mountain busting though.”

    So do plenty of other characters though.
    =
    “Power scaling isn’t always accurate, but it’s definitely still a valid method of debate.”

    If you have no other form of measuring a characters power sure, but we’ve seen some of what he can do.

  48. Ragnorke November 28, 2014 at 11:08 pm -      #48

    I can’t think of anyone that consistently fights high tier characters (and puts up a good fight), who isn’t high tier himself.

    Aye we’ve seen some of what Rulk can do, but we haven’t seen his upper limits.
    Therefor we can use any of his fights with powerhouses to scale him.
    Specially since it’s implied that he’s as strong as green Hulk, if not stronger. I

    The He Man in this fight is now changed to his 2002 incarnation, to make it a fairer fight.

  50. Jake_Uzumaki November 29, 2014 at 10:19 am -      #50

    The only other He-Man I know of is current, who was capable of fighting toe to toe with N52 Supes.

    @Ragnorke
    the thing is Red Hulk beat a lot of people like Thor and Silver Surfer when he could absorb energy and powers (fan nicknamed the Loeb Force) after Loeb stopped writing him he lost that power was summarily humiliated by a not even trying Thor, an Iron Man who didn’t know he’d rehabilitated and others (all as Bruce Banner laughed his ass off) Even the Watcher got to get payback. Post Loeb Force Hulk is just a red, really hot, base Hulk.
