What If…Demogorgon was Sealed in Naruto?

What If...Demogorgon was Sealed in Naruto?

Suggested by Rookie

Somehow Demogorgon (Forgotten Realms) finds himself sealed inside Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto) together with Kurama.

He decided that this might be fun and not try to escape or to harm Naruto. Instead he is ready to help him, teach him magic and even give some advice.

First time when he show himself is during Naruto’s first encounter with Orochimaru.

How will this change the story?

Huh… We were just having a discussion on this dude in the last match… Coincidence?

I guess we’ll need to pull out a spell list for this guy first, which we were already struggling to do 😛

Oh for the record, the 2 parts of Demogorgon hate each other to death, and want to be free of one another more than anything else.
Could this potentially lead to that?

I can totally see one half of him going into Sasuke… Wouldn’t that be somethin

“I guess we’ll need to pull out a spell list for this guy first, which we were already struggling to do :P”

I doubt the regular monster manual has much for him because you’re not really intended to go against those sort of things in vanilla, does anyone have one of the expansion books made specifically for fighting in the Abyssal Planes? I feel like that would have more info.

Let’s just face it, if it don’t kill that guy you mentioned when either half of Demogorgon arrives, in this case it better not make him more dangerous/powerful/stronger and de-power him instead.

As for my thoughts on this idea, it’ll bleed far more tasteful consequences in The World of Naruto and we’d get a far better story-line or plot-line because of it, and then we can say it’ll be up there with Tenchi Muyo, Gurren Lagann or The Dresden Files particularly speaking.*

Let’s just say that Interesting things will happen and for now that’s all there is to it, amen to that?

1.) (I meant in favorable common grounds, actually.)

Just for plot points, Demogorgon isn’t trying to escape or harm Naruto?

Well… (Knows little to nothing about Naruto)
Since he’s interested in helping Naruto, as a Demon Prince he certainly has a good deal of energy he could send Naruto’s way, and since he’s willing to help Naruto would be able to control it easily.

As for special abilities- Naruto would probably learn a move to make his opponent’s flesh rot away if Naruto manages to touch him with the enhanced attack.

“Huh… We were just having a discussion on this dude in the last match… Coincidence?”

I suggest this the same day I suggest “Battle for Skyrim”.
Maybe since Demogorgon was the most popular character in “Battle” he also get a match?

“I guess we’ll need to pull out a spell list for this guy first, which we were already struggling to do :P”

    I found this: pandius.com/dem_spel.html
Dunno if they are correct though. Need to do some searching.

“Just for plot points, Demogorgon isn’t trying to escape or harm Naruto?”

No. Just trying to have fun.

“Well… (Knows little to nothing about Naruto)”

To give you the idea about their firepower (one of the top-tiers):

    “I found this: pandius.com/dem_spel.html”

The reliability of the page is questionable, but it doesn’t seem to imply that it’s player made anywhere…

“To give you the idea about their firepower (one of the top-tiers):”

Holy shit, Naruto characters got pumped up from what i remember.

So, are we assuming the Kurama doesn’t exist anymore… Or…?
If demogorgon is in Naruto, then the 9 tailed beast was never sealed, or sealed in someone else.

So what would the beast be up to? or who would it be sealed in?
Also, how would it interact with Demogorgon?

    @Ragnorke

“So, are we assuming the Kurama doesn’t exist anymore… Or…?”

No, they both still sealed inside Naruto. I think it could be possible for Demogorgon to mind control Kurama, this way Naruto will get his powers sooner… but this is also what we must find out.

“Holy shit, Naruto characters got pumped up from what i remember.”

Yep. Obito, Madara and few others (including Naruto) even stronger. Menma (Naruto’s clone from the video above, had Kurama and every other tailed beast clones) for example did not have any hax abilities.

I think that page is simply outdated: There was a time (edition 2.5, I believe) where Demogorgon and others of the same rank/power class could cast any spell at will. I’ve seen it said that edition 3 or 3.5 or so focused on making them more defeatable.

” I’ve seen it said that edition 3 or 3.5 or so focused on making them more defeatable.”

Yeah, I remember it. Oh, how low did Orcus fall…
We will use Demogorgon in his strongest version here. For once I want to improve, not to destroy.
I am also curious about how will Naruto interact with something that is 100% corrupt, selfish and just evil.

Eh really if a party ever gets to the point that they need to fight and beat demogorgon then the DM has really fucked up.

” I’ve seen it said that edition 3 or 3.5 or so focused on making them more defeatable.”

True, although i can’t really find anything on him in the newer editions :( just what people have said on the forums.

“There was a time (edition 2.5, I believe) where Demogorgon and others of the same rank/power class could cast any spell at will.”

Surely he would’n’t have access to cleric magic though, or druid magic…
Although i’m not too sure how the 2.5e magic system worked.

    Daaammmnnnnnnn
Considering Demo has a hard time dealing with just 2 personalities in one body… Having FOUR different ones?!?!
Seems too against his CiS to let them live.

Chances are he’ll finally split his personalities by having the second one sealed into someone else.
And then an epic battle will begin, where both try killing each other once & for all.
One personality will have control of the Kurama and Naruto, whereas the other one would be sealed in a different tailed beast?

    @Ragnorke

“Considering Demo has a hard time dealing with just 2 personalities in one body… Having FOUR different ones?!?!”

    He deserved this)))
But it’s not too scary though.
Kurama always had his own place inside Naruto’s soul and never truly merged with Naruto (they can talk via some psy-powers, he may even gain control over his body or give him some powers, but they do not share their thoughts and minds all the time of their life). So Demogorgon is relatively safe (after all he spend several thousands years in tower, alone, while several imps mocked him non-stop).

“Seems too against his CiS to let them live.”

He only ready to help Naruto, remember? Maybe he will not harm Kurama too much… but he will try to somehow gain control over him.

I don’t believe he’s yet appeared in edition 5 at all.

“I don’t believe he’s yet appeared in edition 5 at all.”

5e doesn’t even have its own wiki page yet… it’s far too new to be used in matches and such.

I have a friend who has the book of Vile Darkness, I asked him to look up Demogorgon. Maybe we’ll get some solid info yet.

  17. Soulerous September 29, 2014 at 5:00 pm -      #17

Book of Vile Darkness: Demogorgon’s entry begins on page 125. It seems his appearance was retconned. He’s much slimmer now, and has the heads of hyenas rather than mandrills. He’s 18 feet tall, which seems relatively small.
    ~
“If Demogorgon must fight, he leads with his strength, using two gaze attacks in conjunction with his terrible rotting tentacles (saving the hypnosis gaze for when he fights large numbers of weak foes). He often goes into combat with these abilities active: fly, tongues, unholy aura, and detect thoughts.
    ~
Spell-Like Abilities: At will- bestow greater curse, blasphemy, contagion, deeper darkness, desecrate, detect good, detect law, detect thoughts, fear, fly, greater dispelling, pox, read magic, suggestion, telekinesis, teleport without error, tongues (self only), unhallow, unholy aura, unholy blight, wall of ice, wither limb, and water breathing; 1/day—befoul, symbol (any), mindrape, shapechange. Caster level 20th; save DC 20+ spell level.
    ~
Of course he’s got his gazes too, and the touch of his tentacles causes living flesh to rot. He can heal himself by whacking enemies with his tail. He is constantly surrounded by a non-dispellable Mage Armor effect, is immune to electricity and poison, and can see things cloaked by invisibility effects.

    @Soulerous
Sweet, so conceivably Demogorgon could force Kurama to behave and Naruto could have two high-powered demons boosting his chakra. I’m guessing this would make Naruto even more op?

    @Friendlysociopath at #18

If the Trade-off is a far better story with more heavy-weight consequences, a better plot-line, better development and far less plot-holes, it sounds like Halloween/All Hallows’ Eve to me.

  20. Ragnorke September 29, 2014 at 7:26 pm -      #20

Having a permanent Unholy Aura could be quite troublesome for Naruto.
So much for having a “normal” life.

  21. Friendlysociopath September 29, 2014 at 8:08 pm -      #21

Well a significant point is Demogorgon isn’t interested in hurting Naruto, essentially he would become a demonic Jiminy Cricket with power-up capabilities. (Which funnily enough is similar to the plot of a story I’m writing)

  22. Tarbel October 2, 2014 at 10:38 pm -      #22

I think the first thing that would occur is either Demogorgon or Kurama eats the other.. you know depending on which one’s bigger.

  23. PrimusxPilus December 18, 2014 at 3:41 pm -      #23

I can’t really comment because IDK Naruto but Demo is no joke. Tagging this to follow

  24. pimpmage December 18, 2014 at 4:28 pm -      #24

Why is demo a thing? It’s homebrew and non canon. You could write anything you want about him and it world be just as true as his homebrew page.

Is that so? (Scurries off to wikia and potential hilarity)
