Unholy Triple Alliance

Unholy Triple Alliance

Suggested by JMT

The Forerunners (Halo), Imperium of Man (Warhammer 40K) and Palpatine’s Galactic Empire (Star Wars) have found themselves in a merged super-galaxy.

They have allied themselves with one another and stand united.

What civilization without the use of time travel can defeat this unholy Triple Alliance?

Minor nitpick, it wasn’t a Forerunner Dreadnought. It is just called such by the Covenant because it so far outclassed their own vessels.

It is actually a a Lifeworker zoological vessel. Catalog also refers to the UNSC Infinity as a “destroyer-class”, and a UNSC frigate as a “light-craft.” Kinda puts the UNSC in its place when compared to the Forerunners.

The Culture, Silentium Flood and the Chaos Gods could do it. The Time Lords could also do it even without time travel, since they can just destroy the universe that the UTA is in while the Transduction Barrier lol-nopes everything.

Unless you mean the Chaos Gods coming out of the warp personally and beating the crap out of them, no. The Imperium can brief the others about the dangers. The Forerunners can adapt really quickly and can help the GE remove any weaknesses harsh angles etc.

Culture is a stomp. Silentium Flood… Not without Star Roads.

  4. Tyran July 28, 2014 at 8:59 am -      #304

But with Star Roads it is a stomp.

    @Mr. happy
Silentium Flood… Not without Star Roads.

Erh… no, it can still beat them. Star Roads just make victory trivial.

Lifeworkers calculated that given its virulence and adaptability, the Flood should have overcome our entire galaxy within a few hundred years.

Without them it would have still destroyed the Forerunners had it not retreated to spare humanity. This is prior to its resurgence after the end of the Human wars. Prior to the corruption of Mendicant Bias.

wo wo wo WO! What have we here?
I said IN THEORY they could win based of of what we have learnt. If said scientist are correct then this is all the proof we need.

    “you’re a idiot.”

You should see a doctor for those anger problems mate!

    @Ranger Lowk
“kind of surprised someone with Masterchief in the name is supporting a low tier sci-fi race against Forerunners.”
1st of all I quote myself, “I like both Forerunners and Ceph equally”
Secondly where’s the proof to support this statement”low tier sci-fi race”.

  7. MasterchiefQr July 30, 2014 at 8:05 am -      #307

If the scientist were wrong then how did they know the exact out come at the end of the story showing the whole Ceph warship and it’s beam firing at Earth.
Also the vid shows it takes a total of 12 seconds for the Ceph warships to get through the wormhole. In the game it also is also mentioned that this is one of the few ways for the Ceph to get to Earth. What they really need is more backstory on the Ceph with Crysis 4 perhaps. A bit like they did with Halo 4. Extended cannon or something like that.

Borg lose horribly. However Silentium Flood and beyond win without question. Culture win, Xeelee win, Tmelords and Darleks depends if they don’t use reality bombs. Ancient Forerunners win, Precursors win, Ancients loose.

As forthe Ceph yes if we use speculation no if we don’t. Fair?

” You’re taking the words of a couple of clueless scientist from the crisis universe and taking them as facts. When everything we know of the
ceph and their capabilities come from their limited view of the ceph.”

First of all if their so clueless then why oh why were they able to predict and prove thing’s that hadn’t and wouldn’t of happened months or
even years earlier such as Ceph stage 3 and many other things such as exactly how the Ceph warship looked and the fact that the Alpha
Ceph would open a wormhole to their home Galaxy. It also seems odd to me that the ones like you who called them amateurs or “clueless”

where in fact wrong all along. Now does that seem ironically odd to you, hmm?
As for FTL it took them around 12 seconds to accomplish a 3 million light year trip. It is true that it required two points of contact but it’s stated they have other means to travel to Earth however not specified. :( Oh and as for the “200 ton” beam that did not hit or get though the armor but a gap where the weapon was firing.
“the fact that they haven’t overran the entire galaxy despite having a millions of years to do so”
Who said they haven’t. Crysis cannon also states that Earth was somewhat meaningless to them more of a pet science project but i’ll find the quote later. Also they are more likely dealing with more powerful races elsewhere in the Universe but um no proof so you disregard this. Also what you called “Baseless wank with no proof” is actually using facts from what we do know from ALL 4 games the book and comic with stage 1 and 2.

There is a time and a place for idiocy and this is either IamTaco. Keep that in mind please. :)

    Carry on.

That formatting was painful, and we have no idea how long the journey took the ceph ship. It just takes 12 seconds to exit the portal. That doesn’t mean the entire trip through the wormhole took a mere 12 seconds. If they wanted to destroy the Earth, they would have just jumped immediately with a fleet. to do so, before ya know… humanity had enough time to reverse engineer their tech.

Stop wanking, you’re inventing motives and abilities that we have never seen displayed or explained.

  10. MasterchiefQr August 6, 2014 at 4:28 am -      #310

In the vid it showed the ship took 12 seconds you prick. Their home Galaxy is 3 million Light years away and by my best calculations it took no more that 3 minuets for Mantles Approach to travel from installation 03 to Earth and incase you don’t understand that’s a lot slower than the Ceph FTL.

Ceph WIN if we use “Untested/unproven feats” but they lose if we Don’t! Ok?

And yes Star roads stop they can just turn off Forerunner tech and then smash it.

Anyway Where do the Precursors (Halo), First Ancestral Race, Precursor (Galactic Civilizations), Zoni, Necrons, Galactus, the other Galactic marvel and DC races and the Firstborn fit in this?

I’m thinking any civ from the star carrier series, these guys create black holes on demand for propulsion, weapons and reactors. also they grow their ships with nanites and everybody’s got their own resident AI in their implants just so the can operate the tech fast enough (or at least the humans do and their the lowest in the techpile)

  12. Hitman501st September 4, 2014 at 7:25 am -      #312

I would say Ancient humans (Halo) these guys would have wiped out the Forerunners if they hadn’t been fighting the flood at the same time which was what led to the down fall of the Forerunners themselves. Now throw in post Covenant War UNSC and mass effect post reaper war with all the reaper tech recorvied and add the Red Faction Nano tech these guys make one Civilation together and you have tech that reviles the Forerunners, Mac cannons with element zero to increase the speed with UNSC size cannons a nano forge that can can turn theses rounds into matter eating death rounds. Slipspace drives from the ancient Humans and post war UNSC refit to all ships personel shields for all ground forces that the GE doesn’t have or the IM have plus Spantans out the ass. Only true threat of the GE is force users which well be met by the biotics of mass effect. As for the IM nano forged rifles well eat them in their own armor suits.

Are you kidding me? You have to be. Nowhere does it say Humanity would have defeated the Forerunners. No where. They would have lost either way. One would have just cost more for the Forerunners.

The rest of the post is equally misguided.

  14. creyzi4j October 14, 2014 at 5:16 am -      #314

I think Dr. Who would have a chance.
Most useless verse here is 40k BTW.

  15. pimpmage October 14, 2014 at 7:35 am -      #315

I think 40k killed his parents, why does he search for every possible 40k thread just to spout hate? I really think this is what happened.

  16. MasterchiefQr October 31, 2014 at 1:40 pm -      #316

War in Heaven Necrons + The Old Ones may be able to take this.

On a side note who is more advanced the Covenant or the United Federation Of Planets? I never seem to get an answer to this and when I rarely do it’s full of wank from both side’s that ends up inconclusive.
